RomanceRe: Is She Interested In This Man? by Ibkay32(m): 10:01am On May 09, 2025
NEWBIN:
Is there a sign that she can cheat
A woman’s heart is fragile, sensitive and easily swayed, especially when not properly guarded. Even if she hasn’t cheated before, constant chatting and calls with another man can gradually open the door to emotional attachment and, eventually, infidelity.
RomanceRe: Is She Interested In This Man? by Ibkay32(m): 9:51am On May 09, 2025
I personally don’t subscribe to the idea of married men or women maintaining casual or unnecessary communication with the opposite sex, especially through frequent chats or calls. Marriage, to me, is a sacred bond that demands emotional discipline and clear boundaries. So, when a married woman regularly chats or calls another man with whom she has no essential or professional dealings, it raises serious concerns.

Such behavior, in my view, reflects a lack of respect for the marital covenant. It often hints at emotional unfaithfulness and can be a doorway to deeper issues. I see it as a red flag, sign of a woman who may be relapsing into habits or tendencies she once had before the marriage, ones she might have concealed or downplayed. It’s not just about the act itself but what it says about loyalty, transparency, and the kind of values one brings into a relationship.

Boss if you checked the post well. I have taken her to 2 different hospitals.

they even did extraction at one of the hospital.

and severally pharmacies.
Sometimes persistent issues need a second (or even third) look from a different angle. If the issue still persists despite all that, it might be worth requesting a referral to a specialist or visiting a teaching hospital where they have more advanced diagnostic tools.

Hi
I've been following your posts and comments for the past year, and I must say—you’re truly doing an amazing job. Your consistency, insight, and the way you express your thoughts are genuinely commendable. I recently came across your post titled "I Had a Pet Mongoose", and I found it absolutely fascinating. The way you told the story was both engaging and vivid—it felt like I was right there with you. Stories like that not only entertain but also remind us of how unique and unexpected life experiences can be. Keep sharing—your voice adds something special to the space.
RomanceWhere Are The Real Stories And Comments That Made Nairaland Fun? by Ibkay32(op): 9:39am On May 08, 2025
Lately, I’ve noticed that Nairaland just isn’t as fun as it used to be. There was a time when you could spend hours reading through stories and comments that would leave you smiling, blushing, or even laughing out loud. The relationship tales, family dramas, and personal life stories—paired with the hilarious and often brutally honest comments—made the whole experience entertaining and oddly comforting.

Back then, on my off days, Nairaland used to be my go-to space. I’d dive into threads and get completely lost in the narratives, the banter, and the wisdom hidden between lines of sarcasm and laughter. But these days, that spark seems to be fading. The vibrant storytelling and raw, unfiltered opinions seem to have reduced drastically.

Is it because of the stricter rules and moderation policies now in place? Or have people simply chosen to keep their personal experiences to themselves, fearing judgment or backlash? Maybe the community spirit has shifted, and the once-organic vibe has given way to caution and formality.

Whatever the reason, I honestly miss the old Nairaland—the one that felt like a blend of a diary, a comedy show, and a therapy session all rolled into one. I hope someday it finds its soul again.

Instead of resorting to self-medication or seeking unverified medical advice on Nairaland, why not take the child to a proper hospital where trained professionals can conduct a thorough diagnosis and provide the right treatment? It's important not to gamble with a child's health—early and accurate medical intervention can make all the difference in preventing complications.

This my 9th year in pig farming and only telling to highlight the risk to him aswell while practicing about the business.

The a business that requires knowledge on treatment ,feed formula, type of breeds etc.

Even with your 3yrs experience you still learning about piggery. God forbid if ASF comes around how will he handle it??

Let people know the good side and bad side of every business.
Forget all that, there’s no business without risks.
My only advice to the OP is this: find someone trustworthy who understands piggery well and can guide you on treatment, feed formulation, and the best breed to go for.

Even you with your 9 years of experience—didn't it all start somewhere and on a particular day?

Bobodee09:
Lol.

I am a pig farm so I know what am talking about.

You didn't highlight the risk involved to him.

He is to go to breeding or fattening ??

It a big lie when people say there is big market for pork........we farmers still struggle to sale 60kg upward pigs most times

Poultry business is better than Piggery at the moment....he should get Noilers for egg production
That's exactly what people used to say to me too. I'm also a pig farmer, and I remember hearing the same discouraging words when I wanted to start. But here I am, over three years into it, and I'm not just surviving, I'm thriving.

So to you, the original poster (OP), don't let anyone's doubts or fears become your reality. People will always have something to say, especially when you're trying to do something different or new.

Believe in yourself, do whatever your mind says, do your research, stay consistent, pray about it and trust the process. Your success will speak louder than their opinions.

In Nigeria today, the rate of pig consumption has significantly increased, largely due to the rising prices of cow meat and chicken. As beef and poultry become less affordable for the average Nigerian, many are turning to pork as a more economical source of protein.
Most those Muslim are even eating it codedly now, it beyond what you see

It is not because of societal pressure for marriage. It is not because of biological clock. It is because of laziness and materialism.

Most of those women that show desperation for marriage are not even willing to show the commitment required in marriage. They just want to wear wedding gowns, have a bridal train that is longer than River Niger and stay under a man who will suffer day and night to provide all their needs. Remove the show off at weddings and the entitlement of material benefits in marriage, and many of those women will run from marriage.
I’ve observed that people who lack stable jobs or adequate resources often become very desperate to settle down. It’s as if marriage becomes a means of escape or security for them, rather than a well-thought-out decision based on genuine readiness or compatibility
RomanceThe Rising Desperation To Settle Down: What’s Really Happening? by Ibkay32(op): 6:58am On May 03, 2025
In recent times, there’s been a noticeable shift in the dating scene, particularly among young women. There seems to be a growing urgency to settle down quickly, sometimes even after just a brief talking stage. For many single men, like myself, this trend has become hard to overlook.

You meet someone new, engage in a few conversations, and almost immediately, there are hints of long-term expectations—talks about marriage, settling down, and planning a future together. While there's nothing wrong with seeking commitment, the speed and intensity can feel overwhelming.

This raises an important question: What’s fueling this desperation?

Could it be societal pressure, where women are constantly reminded that their "biological clock" is ticking? Is it family expectations, cultural norms, or the curated lives on social media that create unrealistic standards for love and timelines for marriage? Or is it simply the fear of being alone in a world that glorifies relationships?

Whatever the reason, this desperation often leads to relationships being rushed without a solid foundation. It creates situations where emotional compatibility, mutual understanding, and real connection take a back seat to urgency.

We need to start having honest conversations about the intentions behind our relationships. Desiring love, companionship, and stability is natural, but it should come from a place of clarity and emotional readiness, not panic or pressure.

In truth, healthy relationships take time. They require patience, trust, and genuine connection. Rather than rushing to the finish line, perhaps it’s time we encourage a culture of intentional dating, where both parties take time to grow together before making life-long decisions.

The pressure to "settle down" should never overshadow the beauty of growing through a meaningful journey with the right person.
