You are not getting a mortgage for a £450k house with £60k alone unless you have a very large deposit

But the irony of this offer by UK Govt is that civil servants embarked on uncountable strikes in recent time.They were clamouring for pay rise to cushion the effect of high cost of living.
Many of their workers including qualified teachers could no longer cope with the economic realities so they quit working.
Looking at the mass exodus of workers they decided to engage the services of non residents.
Perhaps they know fully well that migrant workers will accept the pay threshold rejected by their working class citizens.
Recall they offered similar work opportunities to health career workers recently which led to exodus of our health providers.Nigeria qualified doctors and nurses were offered jobs in HC, HCAW,PSW,Social Work and care giver etc.Again this level of work was rejected by their qualified citizens in health field cos the annual salary threshold could not mitigate the high cost of living expenses.
My own submission tho on why they intend to outsource for teachers from 9 nations including Nigeria.
