Op you tried to explain what you don't know. Vaccines can prevent as well as treat a disease condition. A vaccine is a drug. Medication can also be use to prevent or treat an infection. The only difference is the the source. Vaccines are gotten from the microbe itself but drugs are gotten from herbs or synthetic

lol... The topic is for those who are not health inclined. If I go too deep into pharmacology some people might get lost, so what is the essence of the article if a layman can't make sense of it. In a broad sense, you are right they are all drugs, but if you go deeper in pharmacology they are separated from drugs. Key difference is that a drug is a chemical compound and it usually comes with a chemical formula while vaccines on the other hand are what we called Biopharmaceuticals [/b]or [b]Biologics.

It seems even the woke and enlighten Nigerians goof when it comes to differentiating between a vaccine and a drug. I was on the Madagascar trend on twitter earlier today, I saw so many tweets from the so called INFLUENCERS saying we already have a cure in Madagascar organics, we don't need a vaccine. The Madagascar cure might be effective, but there are clinical and scientific backup on how it cures CoVid 19. The bedrock of modern medicine is MECHANISM, well the crux of this article is not on the Madagascar cure, it is to enlighten people on the difference between a vaccine and a drug.

What are vaccines?
In simple term vaccines are altered, inactive or killed microorganisms that are injected into the body system in order to elicit an immune response without disease manifestation. What this means is that a vaccine contains that particular virus or microbe(microorganism) responsible for a disease, e.g Smallpox virus is responsible for causing smallpox, the vaccine for smallpox will contain either a killed Smallpox virus or an altered Smallpox virus which has been weakened or ripped off its pathogenicity(ability to cause disease) to still capable of inciting an immune response.

The goal behind vaccination is not to treat you against the disease, but to prime your immune system in a way that when it encounters the real virus, the immune system will quickly ward off the virus because it is not a new thing to the system. Just picture this as "ONCE BITTEN TWICE SHY SCENARIO," but in actual sense we were never beaten, because our first exposure to the virus which was the vaccine which did not lead to disease manifestation, unlike a natural kind of immunity where you fall sick during the first exposure to the virus, but after recovery(if you are lucky) your body will be primed against the virus, and any subsequent exposure your body already knows what it is dealing with and fight it off quickly.

So, how does this differ from medication?
By medication I mean therapeutic drugs, organics(herbs) etc. What a drug does it to cure you after you have been infected or probably diseased, it assists your immune system in fighting the virus, different kinds of drugs have different mechanisms by which they help in curing a particular disease. Some drugs are specific in the disease they treat, some have wide range,but in whatever a drug does it is not in its place to prevent from encountering the disease.

Clearly we can see the difference vaccines prevent you from falling sick, while drugs help you manage or get you back up after you have falling sick. A vaccine is useless to someone who is already sick, because there is nothing to prevent, but a drug will come in handy to salvage the situation. A healthy person has no business talking a drug hoping it is will be prevent them from having the disease, rather the person should be vaccinated so he/she won't fall sick when he/she encounters the real virus.

We can see the ultimate goal to fight this pandemic is to prevent its spread via vaccination. PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE.

Wonder why I can’t stop stressing on the important of the SOLID principle, well it has saved me from lots of trouble during software development. Today we will be taking about Dependency Inversion. DI is the last part Of SOLID principle and it is the most overlooked aspect of SOLID, I have seen codes from senior developers breach this principle, have seen Junior developers made a mess of this principle. In order for us not to make a mess of this principle, we need to know what it really means

A. High-level modules should not depend on low-level modules. Both should depend on abstractions (e.g. interfaces).

B. Abstractions should not depend on details. Details (concrete implementations) should depend on abstractions.

Objects are meant to be loose, independent, unfaithful, disloyal, Yeah, I said what I said. Tight coupling will do our codes no good and it is one of the code smells we should try to avoid. Enough of talking, let us get into business.

Let us imagine we are developing an application that will need to persist data somewhere, well many applications make use of database to persist data, and this our imaginary application won’t be an exception. Another issue is selecting the database that is right for our application, since we have so many databases available. After going through selection process, we finally picked MYSQL.

Our application will be written in PHP, Dependency Inversion can be practiced with any object-oriented programming language that supports the use of interface.

Now let us write our code without having dependency inversion principle in mind

Our application has gone live, and it is working well, then we discovered that the application is getting bigger and we MySQL is not the best choice to use user’s data anymore, we want to switch to NoSQL database. Here comes the trouble, looking at our User class we have already hard couple our DBConnection class with the user class all in the name of composition.

The only way we can change our database driver to a NoSQL database is to go back to the user class and rewrite the codes, that is not a good practice imagine you are dealing thousand line of codes, the painstaking effort you have to go through to make sure your codes do not break. Well this is the price you have to pay for not paying attention to dependency inversion Principle. Let us talk about how our design has broken dependency inversion principle ;

Our User class is depending on the DBConnection class, fine we need to connect to a database and persist data, but with what we have done, we have made the user class to solely rely on using just MySQL as our database, this blind loyalty is a code smell and it is regarded as "TIGHT COUPLING"

So how do we break this blind loyalty between our User class and the Database class

The columns in the insert query doesn't match the table schema you posted earlier.
Also, change the quest_date column type to TIMESTAMP
quest_title column doesn't exist in the schema you posted earlier, but you're using it in your code

The mysql error you posted is pointing to foreign key, i assume you know what that is cos you must have added it yourself.
The data type for the child column must match the parent column exactly. For example, if user_id is a foreign key in question table and it's type INT, ID in user table must be INT.

I'm getting an error which says (cannot update or add a child row:a foreign key constraint fails).
I created two database table User and question.
TABLE user
User_Id. INT A.I primary key,
user_name .varchar
user_dob,
user_date, ..

Table question
Question_Id INT A.I,primary key,
Question_sub, varchar,
Question_date, date,
user_id INT (foreign key referencing user(user_I'd))
The problem is that whenever I try to insert into table (question) manually using phpadmin,it will be successful but whenever I try to insert into table (question) through php mysql always return the constraint fails error...
