But hell no, this country is very corrupt. We have seen it during scarcity of cash. Bank managers are also corrupt. They will collect bribe from the fraudsters and dump your case.

An average Nigerian is corrupt not to talk of the politicians. It will only take God himself to save us from corruption in this country. You can see during the cash scarcity, how bank managers and POS merchant showed how corrupt they are. The same thing goes on in all governmental and non governmental organizations.

POS merchant reign is gradually coming to an end.

Gradually, the reign of the POS merchant is coming to an end. People have moved to this cashless policy. Transfer is now acceptable everywhere. In fact, if you don't accept transfer, you are more likely not to make much sales.

Personally, I never queued at the ATM for cash throughout the hullabaloo. I simply find those that collect transfer. Send more than the amount of the items bought and collect cash as balance. That is how I have been surviving.

I even opened an OPay account to do most of my transaction to avoid bank charges.

What happened is simply politics. I won't be surprised if some of these people that loose contest again in 2027 and win. They need to start planning just like Tinubu did many years back.
