I and my family members would have died if not for the grace of God.

So many years ago, my mum just finished preparing dinner. I happened to be the first person to take my food. As I was scaling the chunk of meats, I saw two dead wall gecko.

We had to drink garri that night. I kept thanking God for my oju kokoro because it saved us all that day.

You are right concerning his life in danger. The man that invented car that uses water as fuel was murdered and nothing was done about it because he was a treat to oil companies all over the world.

It has come to my notice now that General Hospitals or let just say government hospitals in general are not the best palace to go if you are in need of urgent medical attention. Do you notice that most of the doctors are very young? They were just thrown into hospitals to start attending to patients without learning from experienced doctors.

Recently, I accompanied my mum to Lagos Island general hospital for treatment of ulcer. We had to queued for hours to get EMR (Electronic Medical Report), to check blood pressure and to see a doctor.

Finally, we met the doctor and told him about the ailment. To my surprise, the doctor wrote blood test, urine test, scan and other unnecessary test which sum up to N21,000. I was like what is the essence of these list of test. It is like the doctors have mission to make as much money as possible to the government pocket.

To make matter worse, the so called doctor did not prescribe any immediate drugs or injection to reduce the pain despite letting him know that the patient is really having serious pain. He said we have to do all the tests first before any other thing. I couldn't argue much because a zombie doctor asked me too to do HIV and blood count test which have nothing to do with what I complained. Anyways, I did the HIV test and I was negative.

While on queue to see the doctor, the patients discussed about the numerous tests they had to do which proved to be totally useless and cost a lot of money. My aunt spent about N50,000 on tests which proved to be worthless. She had to go to a pharmacist who prescribe drugs for her and she became fine. Whereas in the past, patients do only necessary tests and spend little money to get treatment. But now, you spend a lot but still end up not getting healed.

Back to the matter, we had to leave and went straight to private hospital. With just N10,000, my mum received immediate treatment and became fine.

If 70 percent of people in this country is honest, I am very sure that Nigeria won't be in the mess we are today.

It is not only politicians and officials that are corrupt. Corruption is in the blood of a common Nigerian.

To all the undergraduate and those serving the country right now, you need to do the following if you really want to make it in this country. I wish someone has told me about this when I was still an undergraduate.

1. Graduating with first class does not guarantee you success. However, you need good grade to secure a high paying job.

2. Start planning for your future right now. Whatever business you wish to venture, start learning about it from someone that has succeeded in the business line.

3. Passion that does not guarantee a high income is a capital NO. You might not understand this right now until you marry and start having kids. Everything will become clearer to you.

4. Having a single source of income is very bad. Just imagine, what will happen if you loose your job?

5. It is easier to save money for your project when you are still under your parents' roof. My dear friend, don't get carried away by worldly things. When you make it, you will enjoy everything about life as you grow older.

6. There is no shame in learning from an artisan that is not as educated as you. Your primary aim is to learn and use your head as an educated fellow to brand yourself.

7. Keep the advice and meditate over it.

Yes, gynecologist are much more worst than this. I was with my wife with male gynecologist, he told my wife to UnCloth everything from waist downward while examining her. I just manage to cope with the situation.
