PoliticsDisobedience Of Court Orders Has Bear It’s First Fruit (tompolo) by ican2020(op): 4:24pm On Jan 14, 2016
When our great president consistently refused to obey court rulings and he even told the world that he is on the right track by disobeying the courts directives.
Many Nigerians clapped their hands and praised our dear president to high heavens for disobeying the laws of the land while some kick against it.
The refusal by the president to obey the constitution that he swore to obey without letting his person interest come in has bear fruit.
Tompolo refused to come to court today
The earlier we rush back to constitutionality by obeying our laws the better.
Our laws must be respected and obeyed so that you and I. our children and generations that will come from us can be happy and enjoy all the great resources mother earth have given to us all.
No nobody is above the law

PoliticsAshimolowo To Buhari: Looters Deserve Only 20% Of Your Time by ican2020(op): 4:45am On Jan 13, 2016
President Muhammadu Buhari has been advised to adopt the Pareto’s Principle in governance, where just 20 per cent of governance time is dedicated to the past, “otherwise, it will take forever for majority of Nigerians to see changes.”

Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre, KICC, who gave the advice, said going by Parento’s Principle, the Federal Government should dedicate 20 per cent of its resources to going after perceived looters, while 80 per cent should be given to creating an enabling environment for Nigerians.

Speaking to journalists at the 10th edition of the annual widows New Year party in Ode-Omu, Osun State, he said: “President

Buhari is a man of great integrity, who wants the best for the country. But if he spends all his time pursuing looters, the majority of us who did not steal will suffer.

“Therefore, he must use the Parento’s Principle to approach governance. If you have your eyes permanently on the rear view mirror, you cannot drive fast. The past deserves just 20 per cent attention.”

Tabon:
People write rubbish and make hasty conclusions about this $2.1 arms scandal. The social media ar not helping matters. They over heat the entire system. Let's wait to hear the side of those accused of the arms deal. Don't conclude until you hear from them too. Have u ever bothered to think why the so called 'arms money' should be shared? The same money was shared to Dokpesi,Haliru,Odili,FFk, Metuh,Anneni, Yakassai etc? I see it as a ploy to decimate the PDP members.
I personally feel, the money so disbursed was the money raised from GEJ presidential fund and was in custody of Dasuki to disburse to the various head of the campaign committees and not necessarily arms money. Let's wait and hear from the other side too. That is my view. Thank U
You view here means you took time to look at the music been played by our current leaders before posting, thanks for that.

The bad side of today's naija is that they talk and post before thinking

PoliticsCore Functions Of CBN by ican2020(op): 7:22pm On Jan 05, 2016
The main functions of CBN
1. issue of currency
2. banker to government
3. Custodian of Cash Reserves of Commercial Banks
4. Custody and Management of Foreign Exchange Reserves
5. Lender of the Last Resort
6. Clearing House for Transfer and Settlement
7. Controller of Credit

Overseeing how government allocations are spent is NOT the function of CBN but rather the constitutional function of the federal legislators, the journalist and the general public as clearly sated by our LAW and the freedom of information act.

So it beats my imagination when I see some So-Call NGOs, like the Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) making public statement, without first of all finding out what the laws of the land says as per the functions of the tiers of government, its agencies and that of the citizen

Is Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) a new organisation?

In the voice of our President, why is it that they did not ask the last administration to account for all the allocations that was made then, if they really believe in Accountability

Trying to please anyone should not be the order of the day.
Do you know why?
Anything that has a beginning must also have an end.

We should learn to be on the side of law and the citizens, government go, government comes but you and I remain.
