Car TalkRe: Washing Automobile Mechanical Parts With Petrol; Is It Really Wrong? by ican2020: 2:15pm On Mar 05, 2016
Siena:
I never wash engine or transmission parts with gasoline.

Whilst gasoline is NOT abrasive, it is a solvent, that removes any protective film of oil from components. This can cause components that operate with very tight tolerances to stick in their operating environment - solenoids in transmission valve bodies, piston rings in piston ringlands, camshaft and crankshaft journals in their bearings etc.

I use good old diesel, it cleans components, and also leaves a protective film of oil, kerosine or paraffin are also ideal. Gasoline breaks down oil, and is NOT advised within the automotive industry.
Thanks and from now henceforth, I will always have 4 liter of diesel in my car for future use

CrimeEmir Of Kano Deserves No Credit: The Father Of Ese, Mr. Charles Oruru by ican2020(op): 6:42am On Mar 02, 2016
The father of Ese, Mr. Charles Oruru, has indicted the Emir of Kano, Mallam Muhammadu Sanusi II, in his daughter’s travail.

Oruru, in an interview with Raypower FM, which was monitored by our correspondent on Tuesday, said Sanusi deserved no credit in the eventual release of Ese “as he only bowed to pressure from Nigerians”.

Ese was taken from Opolo, in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, to Kano State by Yunusa, aka Yellow, in August, 2015.

Oruru said, “The Emir did not play any role there. All security agencies in Yenagoa and in Abuja were also part of those who refused to help.

“That is the truth because when we got to Kano, we were told that the Emir had written a letter that the girl should be released on August 26, 2015, and this was not done.

“They wanted to keep the girl in Kano, but the pressure was everywhere after the whole world had heard about the matter, so he knew that if he didn’t release the girl, it would lead to a big problem.”

Sanusi had on Monday refuted claims that he sheltered Ese, saying he had ordered that the girl be taken to her parents since 2015.

The Emir, while speaking at a press conference, in his palace said he got to know that the girl was still in Kano when journalists from the BBC called him.

Sanusi had said, “Since the time we ordered that the girl be taken to her parents in Bayelsa through AIG Zone 1, we didn’t hear anything about her; just for us to now start hearing all kinds of stories that we are keeping her in our custody. This is injustice of the highest order.”

PoliticsRe: "You Need To Resit WAEC Mathematics" - WAEC Registrar To Finance Minister by ican2020: 6:49pm On Feb 22, 2016
hayzee545:
West African Examination Council (WAEC), Registrar, Dr. Iyi Uwadiae, has replied Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, on comment which accuse the council of fraudulent act.

His response goes thus:

1. “It's not enough to go to the Senate and reel out figures. The minister should know, that what Nigerian students pay to sit for WAEC examinations is simply an operational/management cost, that covers registration, data keeping and management, printing of examination papers, logistics, marking of scripts and production of certificates. And all these cost about N16 billion Naira.

2. “WAEC examination is not designed as a revenue generating source for the Federal Government. In fact governments in the past subsidized the examination fees, just to encourage education. The N6 billion she talked about is for payment of salaries and overheads for staff of the council.

3. “However, we do not know the mathematical formula the Honourable Minister used, when she said the summation of N16 billion Naira and N6 billion Naira was N24 billion Naira.

“I think somebody needs to resit her WAEC mathematics examination. And we in WAEC have offered to give her a free WAEC form in this respect.”

This cannot be true, why?
IPPIS is a biometrics anchored system which is suppose to take finger prints of all officers in the ministries.
The questions now are:
Can a single biometrics machine accept one officer's finger on many occasions without detecting it
Does it mean different finger prints of those outside the civil services was used to open the accounts
Who captured these so call names?
Why are they deleting the accounts without saving all the infos for proper investigations, so that appropriate sanctions can be applied
Something is wrong here and I will update this later
