If nysc should cover this case up nysc should be charged to court for double standard. Because I know some people that did something like this and after they were dismissed from their well paying job Nysc still charged them to court it was even in the news paper. So they should judge her based on the Law of the land.

Business / Re: How Bank Officials Withdrew My Money Through Swallowed ATM Card by Icon2007: 6:49pm On Jun 06, 2018
Hi op, did anybody assist you while operating the machine? Machine don't just swallow ATM card except you put wrong pin three times. Possibility are that: your card has been swapped before getting to the ATM point and you put a wrong card with your correct pin the machine will trap it. Another possibility is that your card was swapped at the ATM point. Nevertheless you can write your bank that you need CCTV footage of the person that used your card and that should give you a clue. Sorry for your loss but most of the times its your carelessness. I work in a rural area I hear this kind of thing everyday. And after all investigation it is either their relatives or somebody assist them at the ATM point.
Health / Nigeria HMO Scheme Is A Scam by Icon2007: 6:18pm On Jun 06, 2018
In my own opinion and with my experience with the HMO my place of work is using I can confidently say that HMO is scam. I was using a particular hospital at a time when I was a contract staff 5k was been deducted as monthly HMO contributions which was meant to cover me and my family. I used to go to the hospital for treatment mostly malaria related and I get a drugs equivalent of 1k after spending close to that 1k on transport.
So at a time I decided not to go again. I just get the drugs myself. In 2015 My wife had a miscarriage and I was at work I told her to go to hospital. I was shocked when she called back that she was asked to come back the following day after they have delayed her to make series of calls to the HMO. In my own interest I just asked her to go to another hospital. I did not have money thank God for credit card, I made use of my credit card to settle the hospital bill. I was seriously bitter and I did series of mail to the HMO they only said they were sorry
Now I am a permanent staff and my monthly contributions has increased. Registered with a better HMO of international standard. But I was shocked too as I went to the dental clinic to do S&P: scaling and polishing after the examination of my teeth they made call to the HMO. I was told to go that they will call me back. that was 1st of June after series of calls and mails from the clinic and myself I was told the treatment has not been approved, until yesterday when I was called from the clinic to come today for the treatment. My question is : what if its emergency? and with my contributions should there be need to make call to give me a treatment of 7k Honestly I am loosing hope in this country everyday. Or can some one educate me if I am missing something.

Career / Re: Should I Quit My #55,000 Monthly Job For University? by Icon2007: 6:50pm On Jan 22, 2018
Op nobody will tell u the adequate solution you are the one that will weigh your options: firstly it hard going to school without any financial backing. Nevertheless education still investing and suffering for: if that company can assure of vacation jobs DT is whenever the school is on vacation u can get something doing from dem. Or something else that can fetch u money u can go back to school. Because part time too require money . just weigh the options. I did part time after my ond anyway I know its not easy as well to keep both your studies and work together u must be ready for the fight to graduate with good result. Whichever options u pick just know its not going to be easy as we all put it. God bless you!

Career / Must You Travel Out Of The Country By Force? by Icon2007: 3:38pm On Oct 21, 2017
Must you travel overseas by force.
The only thing that makes meaning to an average youth nowadays is travelling outside the country. Forgetting any opportunities that they can see here. The reasons for this quest is not far fectch. Truth our leaders has failed us.
I was surprised when my branch manger earning close to a million naira in a month resigned voluntarily and relocated himself and His family to America.
The event made me to be asking myself questions
If I am actually in the right direction myself? As an ET. Who has many trial and error years ahead to reach where that my manager was.
I have read so many things online and even consulted people on how to check out of the country too. But considering the cost of migrating legally which is quite high.
Also coming to term with the switching from been an official person doing white collar job to probably becoming a taxi driver to survive in America. The consequences of migrating illegally which are not going to be palatable.
America or Canada is a very good place especially for graduate that has second class upper and financially buoyant to pursue a postgraduate degree over there. Anything sort of that is suffer head. I stand to be corrected though but according to my finding. So in summary don't travel by force. If you have the means give it a trial. If not open your eyes to what you can do here and God will bless it.
