My people I am happy to announce to you that I passed my CISA certification exam at first attempt.

The preparation started since last year April 2022. When my comapny registered me and some of my colleagues for the training and fast foreward to this year January 2023 when we were registered for the certification exam. I reschedule my exan date and vemue severally due to feeling of not preparing enough. I studied the 27th edition of CISA manual very well and used the 12th edition questions and answer extensivelly. I was tempted to buy one of these online sure dumps but i restricted myself to intensive studying of the manual and practising of Q &A. I read some others mayerials as well. I eventually took my exam on 28 April and after submitting I saw that my preliminary result was Passed. I was so happy. After 8 days my offical result notification was received with a score of 459 .

The part that i can not understand are the middle class set that are gainfully employed here in Nigeria earning 500k and above and those set too in the name of japa resigned to go and enroll in uk for masters program with all the challenges. for me my salary is not much but i can manage to take of my money and still do one or two things with the left over. For now the bitter truth is that the cost of living is rising globally agreed Nigeria govt mismanagement might have escalated the sufferings of average Nigeria but then look well before you jappa as a middle class . if nothing is working for you no work and no business I can understand if you choose to give another country a trial. but resigning and moving to another country on a students visa is a no no for me.

I am really happy that people are getting to know more about the deceit and deception of UK government. they don.t have any good plan for Africans. If you listen to Phrankleen on youtube with an open mind you will understand the West system better.
if you are doing well here don't jappa blindly and say you did cos of the future of your kids. you are not God neither Jesus their future is in their hands and God, you can only do the little you can, let them do the rest. your own metal health and happiness is also important.

IF you are not doing anything at the moment grab the offer with your two hands but don't quit studying, even if you have HND now go for your BSC it is very important. a time will come your 50k or 100k teller salary will not be enough. you will need to seek opportunity to become a full staff having a degree bsc will make it easier for you and your employer. my 2 kobo

please go for it , if you are not doing anything at the moment. do the job very well , don't listen to the people advising you to go home and sleep and be expecting salary. try and give the job your best while opening your eyes and ear to opportunities within that same bank and outside.

whenever I read people desperation to leave this country at all cost, some will even go to the length of travelling to any countries once the place is not african countries. I was about making this type of mistake some few years back, but i try to research and consult widely. i stumbed on one guy on youtube is name is phrankleen i sent him a mail about my plan and he used my mail to do live show on youtube so many people commented and i listened to him with an open mind. I change my mind and i am not regretting it. if you want to know more about what people go through in the west read more on quora and some youtube.
if you are not doing anything meaningful in nigeria you can travel anywhere to try your luck but do your research too and travel legally.

Just as some people said its all about misconception about life abroad. Some people thing they take money from tree in USA or canada, I am working in Nigeria and I once nurse the thought of leaving my job, selling my car, my house and move to Canada, but I took time to study things and I listen to people like phrankleen on YouTub., I have a clearer picture of life abroad now. that does not mean I will not travel at all but then i am better informed now. So if you want to travel at all cost know what to expect there ,don't just think the whites will give you a red carpet, and worship you. I have this Camry 2007 I imported myself to the country in 2019. So sometimes last year the alarm will go off at any time its likes I took it to mechanics and re wire they checked and told me it's fine the thing started after some time again. So I started removing battery terminal to avoid it going off. So when I was tired of it I I browsed youtube for solution. I learnt that there is hood latch that we use to open the bonnet so I was told to clean it up if its dirty. Cos the sensor at the latch feel like somebody is trying to open the bonnet that is why its going off i cleaned it up low and behold its stopped

Most of these grads have zero future, and I know many who are doing survival jobs to stay alive.

Therefore ask yourself honestly your intention and do it accordingly.

Ask someone from India who is in Canada now with the same background as yourself about his/her trajectory.

Canada does not need educated people. Canada has one of the highest percentages of educated people and all in line for cushy white color jobs.

That question is in no way has anything to do with you being successful or not at the interview. I know some banks that relatives still work even husband and wife and they are fine with it. Knowing someone in an establishment is not a crime telling them the truth is not being over righteous you have done the right thing they might still get back to you and if not just move on knowing that the job is not meant for you.
