I'm of a profession allied to medicine but so critical in patient care. please let Dr's be. I see those residents loosing their own living just to see that people get better life. I never got to appreciate doctors until I started work in juth. Please let our house officers and residents be. These are dedicated sets of individuals that keep on running calls back, back to back. Do you even know the mechanism behind the automated test you people run in the lab? Please the lab equally belong to the Dr's.

am a professional though not in medics, my own concern is how students are allowed to attend to patients. Don't say you don't have my energy, are the Docs not paid for there jobs ,visit Turkish hospital in Abuja and experience top notch treatment and attention.

in GOPD you said and that's under the supervision of a reg or a medical officer. Yes medical students clerk patients but that is never used in managing or making diagnosis. its solely for training and academic purposes. God sake how can a medical student who hasn't completed his pharmacology prescribe drugs? what institution allows that? Please we shouldn't run each other down cos of rivalry. How can the foremost institution in the middle belt allow such?

Brother, it happened to me in 2013 which eventually left me traumatized. This year ,my younger brother had a Google diagnosis by one female student Doc which got me annoyed cuz I was with him. After the whole nonsense, I had to take him to jankwano (ECWA) which he was given proper proper treatment. Am not here to get cheap attention. My friends who are full time medical practitioners tell they need patients for their try and error practice in med school. I be J full breed and there is this thread where I commented my experience about teaching hospitals, you need to read dat thread. Forget this middle belt story

You just lied, see them plenty for GOPD, all those clinics and those labs. @ permanent site.
Am dating one of the MBBS 500l student too whom I chuk yarns on a regular basis.

I've gat no fu‹king comment, Teaching hospitals are glorified mortuary. These medical student use patients for mere practice, imagine a medical student using Google to check your symptoms.

Please I need an advice from you guys, I am 300 level student, since 2016 that I had been admitted into university through direct entry I find it difficult to pass all the required courses in each semester ,in the first year during the first semester I passed all the courses but with a low grade point, in the 2nd semester I failed one course I.e for 200 level.Then for 300 level ,in the first semester I failed two courses which I wrote an application for verification of my result but they are yet to release the result for the verification but if they discover that I failed the courses which is prerequisite to other courses in 400 level ,then I have an additional of one semester to complete the required courses.So please I need your advice ,only 3 semesters left for me I.e 2ndsemester 300 level(I am doing my siwes for now for the whole semester) and then 400level so please how can I make A's for the 3 semesters in all my courses and also avoid carryover.Thanks

I understand your plight. I advise you change your reading habits, spend quality time on each courses, study passed questions, align your self with those guys topping the class, do your assignment and attendance where required ,you can even read your lecture notes before you sleep, get a small jotter and summarize your lecture notes and handouts, study hard for your test.
This was what I did when I had academics issues in university, I was even short listed to leave the mechanical engineering department .i switched to surveying and Geoinformatics dept .i even got used to writing two exams same time because of carryover . I graduated with a good result .
Brother, it is doable and most importantly rebuild your self confidence before, during and after exams because academic failure can really pull one down. Be academically disciplined, Sit up and fight.

Injuries are not inflicted on someone in the name of punishment. The commandant won't take it as he might be reprimanded, I pity the teacher or school solider that did this to a student whom is definitely less than 18yrs (firing loading).
For the GOC to be involved, i still pity the Lt Col commandant for not enforcing corporal punishment on defaulting student. The fear of social media is the beginning of wisdom for all uniformed tyrants.

Dakar rally is done in South America because of security instability since the Tuareg uprising in Mali.

Sometimes those who believe in dreams and has experienced it can vividly project, depending on who and how the dream came about, the outcome. Again, it is not something that is rigid but can change.

A few months to the 2015 general elections, I had a dream. In the dream, I saw Rt. Hon Rotimi Amaechi, the Fmr Rivers State Governor on a podium in Abuja, and there was a large crowd. He was singing and dancing like a musician repeatedly saying "we have done it; we have made history; a new era has begun..." Then I awoke. Reflecting on the dream, I asked myself if Ameachi was contesting for an election maybe for Senate, since then, he was on his last term as Governor. When he was subsequently appointed as DG, Buhari Campaign Organization, I was therefore convinced, and that showed clearly what the dream was all about. I kept it to myself.

Last night, I dreamed a confusing dream again. In the dream, I was invited for a gathering of Young People of Nigeria in Lagos but no reason was given for the gathering except that young people are gathering for a feast. When I got to the venue, I saw a large crowd of young people, dinning and winning and they were so happy. Something seemed strange because I saw Alhaji Atiku Abubakar on one of the tables eating with them. I, then, asked someone why they were eating and laughing he refused to respond to my question. I left them and went to stand in an isolated place still within the venue.

After a few minutes, I threatened to leave the place and would not eat with them if they didn't tell me what was going on. Then one of the young people now said to me "wait! someone would like to meet with you". I said okay. Atiku then stood up and, so many people followed him, came straight to me and stretched out his hands, shook me and said " I am Atiku Abubakar" and immediately the crowd roared, "We have made it... the young people of Nigeria have made.. he is our President... this is the new President..."

I was so confused and immediately left the venue to go listen to news at home or ask people outside the venue if what happened there was indeed true. As I was getting home, I saw a convoy of US and French Presidents. One of the convoy stopped by, one middle age white guy came out from one of the vehicles under heavy security and said to me "I am the French President. kindly join us for a party in Lagos". Apparently, they were invited too for the same feast. I looked at myself, found the clothe I was wearing not worthy to go with someone of that nature. And I said to him that I am highly delighted and humble by such recognition and invitation that he should kindly give me a few minutes to dress well and follow him. He said no problem. I hurriedly left, got home, dressed well but unfortunately when I went back to the place I met him, I didn't see them again. I was told they had all left for the party. I was very angry and immediately, I woke up from sleep. This is the whole truth

sure, There will be more delegate form the south south and south east cus there are alot of statutory delegates(those in power like councillor, chairmen, state assembly, rep, Senators) meanwhile the north has issues like Kano State (Court restraining order) and poor statutory delegate with exception of Gombe State and Taraba State where PDP rules.
