I stopped hoping or believing in any government job since 2011/12, when I got involved in NSIFT recruitment.

After paying about 2 to 3k in the bank, to enable me get a code/number for filling the form online. We were called for test. After the test they contacted successful candidates. After 2 interviews they said our names had been sent to FCC..... Federal character commission.



99.9% of those names sent never got the job.




I personally went to their Abuja office and I was opportuned to meet a well dressed driver, who came to collect appointment letter for his madam's daughter who just finished schooling abroad and was on her way back to Nigeria

Those of you who did FRSC physical screening at 82 division Enugu will agree with me that applying for federal government jobs without knowing anyone at the helm of affairs is a WASTE OF RESOURCES, WASTE OF ENERGY AND WASTE OF TIME.

In the entire country, 4600 people will be employed and the possition I applied for is officer cadre and from a reliable source, only 400 people will be taken for that position.

Now let's do a little mathematics.
In my screening center alone, we were over 4000 BSc holders that applied for officer cadre.

Remember 400 is needed in the entire country for the position of officer cadre.
400/37 is approximately 11

It means that only 11 people out of over 4000 applicants will be chosen from Enugu state.

Out of the 11 people, how many politicians have slots? But let assume its strictly based on merit.
11/4000 x 100 = 0.275%
Which means anyone that applied stands a 0.275% chance of getting the job and 99.725% chance of not getting the job.

My question is now, why wasting money buying white shoes, white shorts and polo and spending on transport and food when you know your chances of getting the job is just 0.275%?

I will never ever ever apply for anything federal government job again unless I have a strong connection I rather channel that energy, time and Resources in something productive.
I also implore jobless graduates to start something that brings money, atleast from there you grow higher and higher while waiting for your dream job because indeed these people (politicians) don't mean well for the youths in this country

Truth is that na Man know Man, A replacement was just concluded in the federal civil service. Guy, vacancy Slot are sold for at least 700k depends on direct or through middle men. Documentation are about to be concluded in various ministry, department and agencies. if you have your cash, go to Head of civil service office at federal secretariat Abuja and talk to coded men or newly employed guys to guide you. Jobs are been bought now, believe it or not

The Plateau State Police Command has said that many people were killed on Thursday by unknown gunmen around Rukuba Road area of Jos North Local Government Area of the state.

Tyope Terna, the state police spokesperson, confirmed the incident in a press statement sent to PREMIUM TIMES on Friday.

“On the 27/09/2018 being Thursday at about 2205hrs, the Plateau State Police Command Control Room in Jos received a distress call to the effect that there were sporadic gunshots at Rukuba Road opposite Kowa Hotel, Jos.

“The Command after receiving the report mobilised patrol teams immediately to the scene of crime.

“The unknown gunmen who took advantage of the ongoing rain in the area to attack residents were forced to run from the scene by the combined superior gun fire of the Police and the Operation Safe Haven (STF).

“Some people who reside close to the hills were rescued while some persons lost their lives as a result of the attack and some others sustained gunshot injuries and were rushed to Bingham University Teaching Hospital, Jos and are currently receiving treatment.

“The combine security is out to contain the situation in Jos. As such, members of the public are to remain calm and law abiding. Patrol of the area is being intensified and investigation in the crime has commenced,” Mr Terna has added.

Following Thursday’s killings, there is tension in Jos as protesters blocked major roads on Friday.

Many young persons were seen burning tyres on the roads in what residents fear may lead to religious crisis.

Business activities have been shut and many roads deserted in the Plateau capital.


Security personnel were, however, seen patrolling major parts of the city.

Following the tension, the Plateau State Government has imposed a dusk to dawn curfew in Jos.

“Sequel to security breach in some parts of the Jos North, Gov. Simon Lalong, has approved the imposition of a disk-to-down curfew from 6: P.M to 6: A.M in Jos North and Jos South LGAs with immediate effect.

“However, while assuring of lives and properties of the people, citizens are advised to exercise restrain to remain calm and report any suspicious movement to the law enforcement agents,” the government said in a statement by the Secretary to the State Government.
