Sex is often insisted upon, it becomes the only important thing in the relationship to the man while the woman tries to show her worth but unfortunately the men don't care for that, probably the women are not even their type. After being satisfied the man goes on to end the fake relationship and therefore the woman feels used. Women are rated by their purity while men are not, so they feel at a loss when broken up with.

If a woman breaks up with a man, mostly that man might have shown her he doesn't want her and he doesn't even care if she leaves. Hence not feeling it's of any loss to him if she leaves. Definitely there are times when the man has given his all and yet the woman is still self centered and doesn't understand his pains, but I feel that situation is less.

I don't think break ups are initiated more by women as they are more emotional, and stand more to lose with the dominance of premarital sex, plus the heavy judgement of society. Men on the other hand live a sexual adventure, life is their adventure ground as nobody will blame them for having multiple relationships for fun so they care less and may be entering relationships and coming out as they wish. Even in old age a man can be on the dating scene to the max as long as he has money but once a woman is old, even her money doesn't give her the same freedom. So men initiate break ups more, it's more comfortable for them, in my opinion.
