insidelife22: How Emefiele and Buhari kept the dollar bellow 500 should be studied by our first class bobo Chicago and his push and start CBN governor.
malali: The whole world is slowing. A lot of over leveraged businesses are folding up.
The US interests rate is at an all time high about 8%. The UK interests rate is also high, So is Australia, Japan etc
Very few business can borrow money and guarantee and interest greater than 8% to pay back.
So a lot of multinationals are cutting back, its time for Nigeria to look inwards, cheaper food, cheaper housing.
Government should look for people who are agriculturally minded in crops and animal husbandry, send them to brazil and China on scholarship(3-6 months), Let them learn how these people mass produce crops and animals. Then come back to Nigeria and assist them to set up huge Farms and animal produce.
We have over 30 accredited colleges of agriculture in Nigeria, graduating students every year. Food security should not be a problem.
that is one of the things I thought tinubu would have done.
NairaOcean: Look at all the food Nigerian transgender Bobrisky brought! It seems like he's not affected by the economy like others. Being rich is nice.

He made reference to how the sons of the prophet bowed before Elisha after he was endowed with the double portion of Elijah’s power.

immortalcrown: I honestly didn't know Nigeria has food reserves.
Abi na audio food reserves?
Who will share the food? On what criteria will the food be shared? How can you ensure the poor gets the food? Will it be sold to vendors who will conceal the source and mercilessly hike the price?
Will it be like the audio free transportation you gave Nigerians during Christmas? Who under this thread benefited from the Christmas free transportation scheme?
chinasaekpere: I graduated from the University 12 years ago. Since then I have been jumping from one job to another with no progress in sight. I discovered that I have been stagnant for Years, so I decided to learn a skill.
I started by learning how to make footwear, I learnt that for a year but I later discovered that it's not what I want to do, although I can make every type of footwear even boots. Last year I took an online course in frontend web development, for 6 months I studied for an average of more than10 hours daily learning from HTML and now React.js. I learnt figma, scss, CSS, Version control, jquery, bootstrap, Chakra UI and react.js, it was a tough one because I had to forfeit other means of making money. I got hungry so many times, I used my last card to buy data so I can keep studying and doing my projects.
Earlier this month, I finished by portfolio project, I had already worked on 4 projects using react, Jquery, Chakra UI and bootstrap. I designed coupled of web pages using figma.
Earlier this month, my girlfriend who's a data analyst sent me a link for a front-end developer role. In my mind, I didn't feel like I was ripe enough so I didn't apply. 2 days later, I decided to give it a try and so I applied. I was called to come for interview this Monday.
On getting there, the company was working on this revenue web app project they are doing to for a particular state government. I was asked to develop the UI of one of the pages using react, CSS and Tailwind. I have heard of Tailwind before but I have never used it. I told the interviewer that I have never used tailwind and that I'm proficient using bootstrap. He replied that I should go through tailwind documentation and then use it to style the page on top of react.
So I started reading the documentation, I discovered that it's syntax is somehow similar to Chakra UI which I have used once in my project, the are the same concept of class utility. So I decided to start coding, getting snippets from the documentation and then applying my Chakra UI knowledge to work around it.
To cut the long story short, I coded from 9am in the morning and delivered the page by 5pm.
I was sent an appointment letter today. So my tech journey officially started. It's a junior role though but I'm glad I broke the ice.
The salary is what I have never earned in a month since I was born. 😊
APCNig: What do you call what has been following Tinubu since he was first elected Senator in 1992? Nobody on earth has been blessed beyond the man called Tinubu. A man that made several people governors in different states, he single handedly removed a sitting President, single handedly installed a President, and made himself President despite the conspiracies against him. Pls stop that
This is the definition of GRACE. Even Goatluck Jonathan is praying for such GRACE.
How CBN can tackle raising inflation and bring down usd 1$ back to N200 or N500 at most.
1, For Nigerians travelers ( that needs physical cash BTA) Asign personnel to Exchange fx directly from the Airport only with requirements like visa and traveling ticket evidence.
2, most of the Exchange fx can as well be gotten from the returning at the airport from those who might want to change their fx.

They can as well convert it back to naira wallet any time as needed.

No physical dollar will be giving but digital dollars on their e-naire. Also encourage foreign merchants especially the Chinese to open an enaira wallet for easier transactions. Cbn will need to promote and sell the enaire idea to Chinese merchants.
D) mini importers and others can make purchases online with the enaira dollar mastercards at a minimum limit of 5k or 10k usd a year.
E) flight tickets booking should be done via enaira master cards.
F) school fees or those sending money abroad can use the same enaira cards or crypto currency as it already been done.

49s ago 15.43 EST 35 min: Fofana hits the bar! And it would have been another screamer. Bamba’s low cross was desperately cleared but only as far as Kessie. He surged past a couple of defenders and angled a terrific cutback to Fofana, unmarked on the edge of the area. Fofana slammed a first-time curler, not dissimilar to the goal – but this time Djoco fingertipped it onto the bar. That’s a brilliant save.
46s ago 20.40 GMT 33 min A hopeful cross-shot from Semedo whistles well wide of the far post. There was no threat of an equaliser, but it’s another hint that Ivory Coast are starting to lose their way after a very good start.

38s ago 20.37 GMT 30 min Ndicka is booked for clattering Rodrigues a split-second after he flicked the ball through to Balde.
now 20.37 GMT 29 min: Chance for Guinea-Bissau! Ivory Coast need to be careful here. A wretched square pass from Singo is nicked by Rodrigues, who flicks the ball round the corner to put Balde clear. He moves into the area but then, with Diomande coming across, screws a tame shot that is easily saved by Fofana.
1m ago 20.35 GMT 27 min “The Mac Signal goes up…” is the frankly ominous subject of Matt Dony’s email. “Ze Turbo. Car parts in footballers’ names. There’s something in that. Whither Millings?”
17s ago 15.33 EST 26 min It’s a more even game now. When Ivory Coast scored so early it looked like they might overwhelm Guinea-Bissau, but actually the keeper Djoco hasn’t had a lot to do.

55s ago 20.30 GMT 22 min There’s a nasty clash between Bamba and Cassama, and the physios rush onto the field. I thought it was a clash of heads but the first replay showed that Bamba caught Cassama with his elbow.
