erico2k2: SO its 2014, U still dont understand why the greedy politicians decide to pay Militants??are U a learner? where do you think all these massive amount politicians share every weekend comes from? def frm Oil and when the boys in the creeks found a way of stopping it there where no monies to share, just imagine no millions for 3 months, so paying the boys in the creek was a win win for all, easy as ABC.So my dear, dont let the issue of militants bother you its their Birth Right.

jmaine: There is nothing to argue cos that is the truth . . . . Efere Ikong ubon or Nkong is the same as Efere Edikan Ikong . . .Confirm . . . .
Lemme tell you what I know. In Akwa ibom we have AFERE EKAEKA which is prepared with older pumpkin leave and water leaf just the same way AFERE NKONG is prepared, except that nkong needs the fresher pumpkin leaves...When it comes to EDIKANIKONG, you will still need the fresh vegetable and water leaf. The difference is that in EDIKANIKONG, the amount of water added is near Zero and oil is the main liqiud in there, even the meat has to be cooked till it absorbs all the water...it is abit more complex in cooking and very expenaive. unless u want me to cook the three types for you,I won't explain more than that
Just humbly ask your granny or maybe if you have money,go to Le-meredian and ask them for edikanikong...what most guys eat in all this so-called calabar resturant is NKONG soup
FoodRe: Edikaikong - The King Of Nigerian Soups by ideepaul: 1:37pm On Aug 14, 2014
jmaine: Na lie joor, A correct Nkong Soup is the same as Edikan Ikong . .Nkong is the shortened version of it . . .All semantics . . . .
I won't argue with you,I guess u r not from efik-ibibio speaking community or maybe in Diaspora

Aitee1: That's what most of them don't grab, they all mistaken normal vegetable soup with edikaikong soup, it's only in standard restaurants and hotels like 5star one can find edikaikong soup all what u ppl eat in an eatery is vegetable soup prepared with pumpkin leaf and water leaf
Help me tell them o!...imagine someone comparing afang with edikanikong nkong
I am very sure 90 percent of these guys praising edikanikong have not eaten it(Una think se na N700 a plate food una de talk of?)

This is the most expensive and most difficult food to prepare in akwa ibom and cross river(can take more than 10000 for a family of more than 5)I am talking out of personal experience, 60 percent of people saying that they have eaten this soup don't know they ate Nkong soup(a soup with the same ingredients:fresh pumpkin leaves and water leaf, but easier preparation technique)... please nkong and edikanikong are not d same, its like comparing a self-contained with a duplex
just pray someone cooks this for you one day..your life won't be the same again.(maybe that is why corpers don't like returning home after service)

chillykelly86: This is a good idea.
I do not believe exam malpractice is an insurmountable problem. All I see in the system is a lack of Will to solve the problem.
When the government and other major stakeholders decide to solve it, I am confident outstanding and effective solutions will be crystallized.
crystallized indeed! Naija o Naija..see grammar when boys de use kill men.even Ebola bow before you, what a mighty word you typed

Guitarlife: @Op from someone who has a bsc and almost through with an msc in elect elect eng. please do not enroll for elect eng. I repeat do not enroll for elect eng. I know you love the discipline but believe me you will wish you took to my advice after you are in.

I am not trying to scare you. The truth is that elect eng. is one of the most diffucult disciplines out there.
what of computer engineering?

EducationRe: . by ideepaul(op): 8:24pm On Jul 18, 2014
willise2n: ur case is simple,at least u r alive wit complete 2-hands,2-legs and a full brain to have options...am jst saying dt ur case is nt d worst situation on earth and all is not lost. d problem we hv in dis country is dt we believe so much in certificate and connection so all dis companies hv closed opportunity to d best talents dey can harness in d name of class-of-degree,dt is why someone like u wit good technical skills ll nt hv a chance in a company like HP,Samsung,NNPC,Chams, etc bc of 3rd class while someone who's uncle is a senator or someone wit a 2-1 who cnt join wire ll be employed and den wen dey cnt perform,d Company ll contract jobs to foreign companies even wen dey hv a technical department. Okay ur solution: dis is wat i advice; start ur electronics bizness no matter hw small and begin earning some money...sit for waec and jamb and go for degree in d course of ur talent to back u up... as u make some money get specialized and technical certifications, setup ur firm/company and source for bizness opportunities... wen u graduate u can nw either look for a job using ur bizness experience and hands-on skill(and u ll surely find) or u go for ur masters if ur bizness/company is successful,NB if u r older than a specific age like 30,dnt let it worry u,jst register a younger age in ur waec and jamb and go to court or oluwole(if u r in d lagos area) and get ur football age,dis is nigeria its allowed, all d footballers and politicians we worship r using football age... Its not compulsory to waste time completing ur 3rd-class degree, use dt time n read for ur waec and jamb or focus on ur bizness,bt if u care or ur parents/sponsors dnt mind u can complete it,depends on ur situation... My Broda have no fear, life is bigger than wat u think,u can still get to d top,all is not lost.
this is what they said, except that they expected me to finish one first...but warned me about capita for business and school since I am planning to the b.eng in elect/elect engineering in a school outside my state.

about having a surprise 2.2?that hope was dashed by a practical course we just did. i had 69(B)and that made the nearest possible cpga at 2.38 cos we don't have many courses to do after this semester with the current cgpa @ 2.03..lemme also say that I am in my final year as I speak and I am leaving school this January...m Jst saying April cos of unforseen circumstances and clearance. I am just 21 and the closest possible time to gain. admission is when I am 23 but funds and the possibility of getting scholarship is what I am thinking about
EducationRe: . by ideepaul(op): 8:09pm On Jul 18, 2014
quite interesting options...
well four of my lecturers called me today to advice me. I told them what actually brought me to geography which was my inability to have a C in physics in two sitting because I was not taught properly.(my admission was 2/2.but lost them at screening cos of physics...I am learning on my own now).they were happy about my bold step of informing them and my parents wishing I had told them earlier. They were of the opinion that I should do a bsc in the engineering. they also brought the idea of doing pgd and then a masters, but let me understand the consequence
EducationRe: . by ideepaul(op): 8:35am On Jul 18, 2014
agohmamuda: sorry i didnt explain better. When u finish with a 3rd class it means u cannot go for masters. So d person has 2do post graduate studies. After which he!she can go 4a masters degree and bcom equal with everyone with a master degree. Post graduate studies is just for one year. Dont dull. This is d best way out.
then the masters supercedes the effect of the 3rd class!wow

EducationRe: . by ideepaul(op): 8:21pm On Jul 17, 2014
agohmamuda: all u have 2 do is to start a post graduate school, after which u are qualified/can do ur masters degree. Dis is d best option. Peace.
I just thought of your option!its good...but I just can't cope with all these abstract social science courses
