we put one seed per hole, because we soaked in water and every seed we planted have roots coming out already,we used 40 cm spacing and will replace the ones that didn't germinate after 5-6 days,don't even think about transplanting,we have abandoned the nursery we did because at germination the roots has gone so far inside the soil that a successful transplanting is impossible.

yes,I think they are improved opv varieties,I saw the okra farm in June when I want to get tenera oil palm for a client and I was impressed at the height the crop was fruiting at 2 feet for the NHAe 47-4 and 3ft for the LD-88..

there's almost no pre planting procedure you can do to prevent DM it's carried by wind,the best prevention is applying good fungicide very early on the leafs to prevent fungal spores from surviving if they land on the leafs, be ready to apply manure and fertilizer lavishly because the previous crops must have sucked up the nutrients,a lfertile land that is well prepared before planting can give 3 good crop sett before giving up.most of our cucumber farms has given up the ghost ,we are planning to flood it with okra,I don't know if it's a good idea but the initial startup cost is small and negligible,also the labor is minimal,if it fails it will not hurt much.

hmm,good yield,I am predicting 70-80 bags from that 2 plots,I think you planted small/medium size cucumbers, because if it's cu999 because of big size it will translate to more bags,our second harvest from a land slightly bigger than half plot was 8 bags.

Please share images of your plants so we can better diagnose the problem. However, fruit abortion is most of the time a sign of lack of nutrients. The images will show if you plants are stunted and as a result can not handle the number of female flowers developing on the plant or if the plants are infected.

that looks like cu 999 to me,but why does it looks yellowish and not too greenish,looks like you left it too long before harvesting and it my be the cause of the fruit abortion,also try and put npk and also spray foliar fertilizer if possible,fertility is another cause of light coloured fuits,low fertility shows obvious signs before the real damage sets,in cucumbers you may have normal sized cukes but it will be light green and the leaves will be pale green of yellowish,in pepper the first sign is the fruits will lose pungency and hotness.
