tinsel:Lone star college nurse school...lol. You cant find everything on google....lmao I even think the Borromeo nursing school is much bigger. When I said bigger I meant the size of the program not building |
M4A1carbine:My brother, stop cursing....have you heard about Stockholm syndrome? You get to love your tormentors and thank them for hurting and brutalizing you These tilumbu people are sick! |
GBTYO:Like I said before, e nogo better for who do una! It's a prayer because there is no way in the world you 'd convince me you are well |
okeysoninv:Why would you do that ? Is Igbo land a sovereign nation? Stop all these unnecessary Igbo stuff. |
tinsel:In a span of 6 months Obi invested 250 million about 15yrs ago. Then went ahead to start building a nursing school about the size of Lone star college, Houston TX |
HEALTHAnambra: St. Charles Borromeo Hospital receives life support ambulance, N50million chequePublished on October 27, 2013By Daily Post Staff Gov. Peter Obi of Anambra State has presented an ambulance and another cheque of N50 million to St. Charles Borromeo Hospital, Onitsha. He said the gesture was in line with the partnership with the church in re- building their schools and selected hospitals and health institutions on the understanding that they serve the people of the State. The Governor said Anambra State Government was encouraged to continue supporting the Church because of responsible manner they utilize the funds granted them as could be measured by the projects they used them to execute. He said the Government would spend another N200 million in the hospital within the next three months. Receiving the cheque, the Archbishop of Onitsha, Most Rev. Valerian Okeke said that the various achievements of Gov. Obi had remained sources of happiness and pride to the people of the State. He said that by rebuilding schools, hospitals and working in all sectors, the governor was building a healthy, progressive and brighter future for the children of the State and had, thereby, demonstrated leadership through selfless service to the people. In a related development, Governor Obi has assured all those interested in investing in critical areas of the support of the Government. He said this while inspecting facilities at a new private hospital, Apex Medical complex at Awka. Obi also Commissioned a multi million Naira 2 storey school block which his administration constructed at Guardian Angel Nursery and Primary school, Abatete. The block was completely razed by fire in February this year. Speaking at the event, the Catholic Archbishop of Onitsha, Most Rev. Valerian Okeke said that all the actions of the Governor pointed to his love for the progress of Anambra State in other that the State would regain her place as a reference point. He prayed to God that the State may not lack the likes of Governor Obi in future and enjoined those jostling for leadership to emulate the governor in all ramifications. Speaking on behalf of the school, Rev. Sr Maria-Goretti Nwangwu, who described the Governor as God-sent, noted that his intervention in Anambra State would remain indelible in the history of the State. |
okeysoninv:How did Igbo land get into this. Was Obi the governor of Igbo land. Biko , that hospital you see is well equipped to full capacity. Go swallow your buildings |
FatherOfJesus:Brother , that St Charles is yielding profits and able to pay their staff and run an efficient business is kudos to Obi. The medical facility was on it knees before Obi brought it back to life. It's a common knowledge |
tinsel:Another institution where Obi did wonders is Mater Amabilis Sec. Sch. Umuoji! This is also in my town , my sisters went there but you need to see the school today. They win awards like they are the only ones competing. I can beat my chest and brag Anambra has the best public schools in Nigeria! We have the receipts for it |
tinsel:Poorly run , ill equipped, unmotivated workers , poor administration....had no nursing school This was the condition |
tinsel:I meant Iyienu Ogidi not borromeo. Iyienu is in Ogidi where Obi did major wonders. Borromeo is in Onicha, I stand corrected |
tinsel:We never claimed he built it. Its simply state these medical facilities were comatose when Obi came in....Today, they are they the envy of Ndi Anambra. Stop arguing for arguments sake.....go rest. Obi is so easy to sell as a candidate. The man is very passionate. |
tinsel:Well, I am from Umuoji and Borromeo is next to my town. Borromeo was completely dead when Obi renovated, revived and re-equiped the facility then build a nursing school there. |
tinsel:Obi not only put money in these facilities but also build school of nursing. This is a man I have followed for over 20yrs monitoring his policies and achievements. If we start counting what Obi did in Anambra you go bend |
GBTYO:You are no longer campaigning but constituting nuisance everywhere. E nogo better for who do una! |
He built many nursing schools in Anambra. I think there is one at Nkpor and Ihiala. Another major achievement was building of the medical center at Anaku. Another was building the permanent site of Anambra state university. In fact, some of my educated Anambra elder in the states are just learning Mater Amabilis sec school is one of the best public secondary school in Nigeria which was rescued by Obi. Today , Mater Amabilis whose principal is my friend is better than many good schools in the states |
obailala:I literally said this while driving to work this morning with a deafening screech. This mammoth crowd that will troop out to celebrate our real emancipation from the wicked political cabal will be unprecedented. The whole of Africa and the black world will erupt in joy....it will be the beginning of the revival of the black man! |
XerXerz:Nnaa, leave the guy alone. Do you ever get tired? He did nothing wrong. |
Ndibunna:I have seen this but our people are not understanding the motives. They want to partition our state and divide us. I have seen them trying to pitch Onicha against the Idenmili. Somebody actually claimed we stole out dialect from Onicha....we need to wake up! |
trantayo:I hope its indeed fake because that will break the camel's back |
Pascal9:Anambra state will remain until eternity!! Anambra people are the proudest Igbo and very accommodating. The reason why you guys are troubled is because you see Anambra as the ever growing giant of Igbo land and Nigeria and we are very proud in our aristocracy, wealth , polished and poised dialects , beautiful elegant culture and human resources. We are blessed people and still Igbo. So , why the fear ? |
Ndibunna:I don't like towing this line but I have noticed a trend. There is an attempt to shut Anambra people down and they wish the state could be divided to break our greatness. They will tell you , "well, the stupid boundaries were created by a northerners and they will collapse it as soon as they get Biafra." The whole point is to stop Ndi Anambra ,period. The other day, some wrote an article about Anambra dialects and they rushed in their thousands to tell us there is nothing like Anambra dialects and they want the state to be divided. |
Pascal9:I understand you love Igbo land but this is Anambra state thread for monitoring developments , deliberations and suggestions. I don't know your agenda here because it seems you are not here to discuss Anambra but Igbo. Well, Igbo land does not come under one governance, which will make your suggestions appropriate here. As you can see , the ESN Nnamdi Kanu formed has brought more bloodshed to Anambra state than his native Abia state. Stop trying to force Igbo land to align with one identity because we were never like that. The beauty of Igbo land is in its diversity. Stop being paranoid Anambra might pull out. Go to Facebook and see house Anambra people are immediately attacked whenever they tried to celebrate the state...the non Anambra Igbos will tell you to stop mentioning Anambra but Igbo , after all you are not better. I have noticed many Igbo have low self esteem. As long as Anambra is not celebrated there will be peace its sickening. Please, leave us alone let's discuss Anambra governance in peace. Why the bad blood and jealousy |
IGBOSON1:No, I dont. |
Pascal9:You are a ffucking eidiot for referring to me as ignorant. That areas from Idenmili down to Nnewi and Okija areas has never been known for its arable lands. For a state our size we have massive uncultivated lands in Anambra north. Dont reply me again |
Pascal9:Dont get these things twisted because we have enough lands in Anambra. If Lagos state which is smaller than Anambra hasn't run out of lands then we should be ok for another 100yrs. The Anambra hinterland with the magnificent mansions will become a great sprawling of beautiful country side when the necessarily infrastructural like beautiful trails , inter communities roads, side walks and cultural status are build in every corners. Then please ornamental trees and flowers, grass , good drainages etc and the place will instantly turn to a tourist attraction. Come to my neck of woods at Achalagu-Umuoji and you will be blown away. The land of castles is what I called it |
Pascal9:These houses will later become a great sight if internal roads are built, sidewalks, ornamental trees and grasses planted. Anambra hinterland will rise very soon. It will later become like the chateau in southern France |
I warned you people about Soludo! I feel embarrassed listening to my governor blabber about his own brother , Peter Obi. Very arrogant and vindictive |
Tinubuadvocate:After reading this I laughed so hard...my goodness ![]() You urchins are clowns I swear down! Just look at how you are stressing so hard because you are supporting a useless candidate.....go lick your wound |
Kwankwaso is the next President after Obi |
And this is supposed to be Tinubu's stronghold...lol |
Phoen1X:That's all they have left.... |
