But one uneducated, ignorant Igbo living in Aba wants the whole world to believe no one stood behind Biafra during the war

Funnily enough, na una hire mercenaries pass grin grin grin
And Wikipedia is your source ? Just to correct you , the war was squarely a British power tussle , nothing more but I dont expect you to get that. It was about ownership of the oil well for the British. Be a little smart!

U think everyone is like u that Fulani don put fear for una body?
I think the north is more scared of Igbo than we are scared of them...lol

Remember Sarduana of Sokoto and the Igbo dominating everybody interview that sparked his gruesome murder. Remember the Igbo will die in Lagoon by Akiolu of Lagos . Remember Erediauwa accusing the Igbo of dominating business and rubber trade business in his book.

All of you are paranoid of the Igbo yet we rarely think of you....lol

Learn to read bro

It’ll do u more good

First the news posted took opinions from both sides and it’s all abt the ijaws boasting and boasting
A wise man once said if u know what u can do, u don’t make noise abt it or chestbeat . This is evident considering the way ojukwu boasted b4 the war but sneaked out of Nigeria to Gabon after slaughtering 3million of ur relatives

So all ijaw can do is make noise and noise, when we have their time , u will see

Secondly the pple chased were police and construction workers not benin pple
Guess u were too dumb to understand that cheesy

Thirdly, the edo state govt has already said the land belongs to the monarch but the ijaws feel it’s a lie.. then ask them why we have odionwere in the land

Lastly, when a benin rep was asked to speak, he educated them (u inclusive ) with a court judgement that declared that Benin was gelegele land

Now that I’ve taught u how to understand articles , explain how benin palace was invaded by ur dead Biafra soldiers or its all a lie like ur online biafra
Biafra fought the the imperial British for 30 months and inflicted more soldiers death and Ojukwu stood his ground for that long. Thats bravery ! As for you , go fight Ijaw if you have balls.

they can't even fight ijaw.... ijaw has more population and resources more than them.... gelegele is gone with the winds
No worry, bros. They know they have no fighting bone in their body. The best for them is to be humble because time has changed and Bini are really inconsequential at this point. They either join Yoruba and play inferior or face some tough times. When they had their little Portuguese guns head dey shake them and now what

Lol typical Igbo strategy

Make claims that he can’t prove. When asked to prove, he go divert enter another topic

Well gelegele is also Benin territory .. there are odionweres in gelegele .. There are also ijaws staying there according to history
It was through that place Europeans passed through when coming to benin.. so u know how benin influences that land

Besides can u show me where gelegele was pronounced as ijaw territory...

Gelegele also has Yoruba pple living there. Is it Yoruba territory
Will you fight the Ijaw when they are ready to annex Gelegele ? How many virgins will you slaughter this time just to lose to the aggressive Ijaw ? You better be nice to everybody around you because this is no longer the era when you acquired weapons from Portuguese and attacked your peaceful neighbors. Now , any kpim na clearance oooo....lol

Besides , no need to move eastward when we already have igbos under our kingdom.. think I’m lieing, ask olaudah equaino

E can pain sha... nothing to write home abt their history... even the Europeans didnt see them until late 18th century
You people have the tendency of trying to claim Igbo speaking towns as Bini. This is a known fact , therefore I have the right to drag you when I feel like.

Secondly, the Nigerian culture everybody knows about is the Igbo culture through our Nollywood movies. Every foreigner know Igwe means king in Nigeria...that just a bit of how Igbo culture have influenced the Nigerian cultural space. We have different and a million and one cultural practices across Igbo land and have influenced you Bini, too. So , what da heck do you mean by scanty ? Our Ijele masquerade from Anambra won the National cultural festival in Abuja and is right there on your international passport if you have one. The Nkpokiti cultural troupe is on the back of old five naira and they won the festac'77 cultural festival. The culture from my home town alone is superior to that fetish practice and smelly dead animals in that your village!

Swerve, Oba slave!!

Bini people have being psychologically enslaved by their Oba through the usual worthless fetish nonsense that never achieved anything. They are scared of anybody that sits on that throne. Remember the Oba own all the unsold lands in Bini...these people are slaves in their own land. I lived in Ohoro road for over 5yrs and worshipping at our Lady Catholic church near Idehen street. They don't respect the Oba but fear him...they don't have the balls to question him even if he was wrong.

We don't practice monarchy system. Our system is the NZE na OZO democratic system. We are a unique people who don't want to be ordered around like slaves. Didn't the British stated in their visit to Bini that the Oba subjects are equal to slaves? This is a fact. Your Oba terrifies you...lmao

We are free borns not slave to a mere human. Your Oba owns all land in Bini and that will NOT happen in Igbo land...everybody get wahala for body. The Aro Confederacy tried it and we quickly closed them down and keep them where they belong. We , the Nri/Igbo have lived in southern Nigeria for centuries before your progenitors settled in Bini. The Iduu land were inhabited by the Ezechimelu clan. You only thrive within the walls of Bini. You are too inconsequential for me to worry about. Keep reading the trash fed to you by your revisionists. The day you roll more than you can smoke na wipe out you go purchase...haha

Don't hate because I don't see your Oba the way you see him...I am Ovi Igbo and we are not same. Ask your Oba why his ancestors didn't move eastwards to war against us ....lmao

Come on bro, Adamma is a child masquerade, slightly above ulaga that should not be mentioned anywhere near Ijele.
Meanwhile, Ojionu is far better dancer than Adamma.

That said, Ayaka is the most respected Igbo masquerade but I believe it's mentioned here because it is not mainstream, can't be seen and won't perform in the public, only at night and in a very special occasions, usually once a year.
Ijele , Agaba which originated from Igba akwunechenyi , Okwomma/Odogwu agwu/Akataka/Ayaka/Ogbasu are some of my favourites.

By the way , Ijele is purely an Anambra masquerade, especially Nri/Awka areas, precisely. Southern parts of Anambra are not too familiar with Ijele and Agaba Iduu.

By the way , Umuoji featured the Agaba that brought glory to Anambra at the cultural festival at Abuja.

It can happen but I don't think it can happen now because our oba is not a controversial person. He sees himself as the father of Benin and Edos in general.. so as a father, it will be bad to meddle in the affairs of ur children hence the non partisan stance..

Besides the average Benin person has pride in his culture and the oba Being the custodian of the culture is being cherished.. so it's highly unlikely from one foreigner to try to attempt to invade the oba palace

Ask onyearugbulem who died mysteriously 4years after attempting to change Benin tradition
Your Oba doesn't possess such juju power. If the palace got razed to the ground nothing will happen. You will just make incantations and spill animal blood and leave everywhere stinking. Grow up!

Are you alright? cheesy. I was solely addressing the argument that persistence is a form of genius and nothing more. Whether your genius or your hard work or a combination of the two helps you get results was not necessarily my argument. I never argued which of those was more important, even though i stated that hard work makes your ingenuity even better. Besides my comment with respect to the situation in which he did better than his peers was a response to his personal example. Perhaps you should have gone as far as checking the origin of the exchange. He be like say you just run enter my mention without actually knowing what's going on. benji93:
First of all, intelligence in itself is a spectrum. We only consider people at the extreme upper end if it geniuses. For some tasks, only an average level of intelligence is required. Persistence can take you the rest of the way. I believe we throw the word 'Genius' around a lot. Mathematics in itself may not require ingenuity, but the way you get your result and how fast you do it may be what defines your ingenuity. Maybe you do, but I don't decide that someone must be a genius to get an A in a course. People with an average level of intelligence get As by studying hard. And what you just described is knowledge acquisition, anyone will probably be more knowledgeable than their peers if they take their studies more seriously. It's that simple. Let me be clear again, using intelligence may better suit your argument. Not being dull doesn't make you a genius. Hard work usually always enables you to get better results, irrespective of your level of intelligence. A musician could pull off a brilliant performance by rehearsing and finetuning his notes. Ingenuity may sometimes be distinguished by time. It may take someone of average intelligence7 years to master a certain technical job, but it may take you less than 6 months. Well in this case we could term you a genius. but first, we may have to establish how long it takes an average person to master it. Genius definitely has other manifestations besides time.
Ultimately, the end justifies the means. What good is your genius if you finish behind a guy who you thought was inferior to you. And , now , you are making excuses and giving reasons why he dusted you. And , you want to calculate how long it took him to best you. Were you sleep when he was studying ? Also, think we throw that word intelligent around too carelessly.
