I heard of a Nigerian who went to a fellowship in the US. A certain black American was speaking in tongues, but in actual fact, the tongue was in Igbo language. To the black American he was speaking gibberish, but to the Nigerian he spoke sense.

BTW who says it must be an earthly language? There are tongues of angels and various other tongues. Do your research. If not there wouldn't be need for the gift of tongues interpretation.

I remember in 1993, armed robbers broke into our house in Lagos. My aunt was unaware and praying upstairs in her room. The phrase 'flat nose' as used in that context is metaphoric.
