I was raised xtian like most of us, but have been asking questions for the last 5 years and enlightening myself in knowledge and stepping away from the whiteman's religion. I will definetely purchase some of the books recommended here and try and get more knowledge about IFA. It is who I am as a YORUBA, the way of my ancestors.

I just do not like legalism in any way. If I do not feel any kind of guilt/comdemnation or that God is going to hit me over the head for playing the lottery, then that is the most important thing as I have peace within myself.

There is this guy that lives close to me in Charlton, London. My Opinion:
Christians lack because instead of using the gifts and talents God put in them to produce wealth, they are sittting on their lazy behinds in Churches sowing seeds and paying tithes as their preacher lied to them that sowing seed (i.e giving the preacher their money) will produce wealth.
Meanwhile, these same christians will be critisizing people outside of the church (e.g musicians, sportsmen, artists, actors, businessmen) who use their God given talent to produce wealth, saying they are lost &  going to hell.

The funny thing about 'Coming wealth transfer' false doctrine is that it is always "COMING'. It was 'coming' 10 years ago, and 20 years from now, it will still be 'coming' wealth transfer. But for pastor 'Creflo Naira' here, he is getting paid now!!! It's the gullible blind pastor followers who are still waiting for the 'COMING' wealth transfer. I have to agree with you. The author is obviously biased and is guilty of generalisation. I have been married to a Russian woman for 7 years and my experience is totally different from what the author is trying to potray here. On the other hand, I know a Nigerian couple here in the UK where the wife reported the husband to local authorities because she caught him cheating. She has a British passport and they got married to help him get his papers
