THE MAN JESUS

A Jewish man with high ideals that came out on the rotten end of the stick. Contrary to popular belief, Jesus never proclaimed himself the "Son of God", and in fact was only seen as a regular mortal until the Council of Nicea in 325, where the Christian Emperor Constantine proclaimed that Jesus was indeed Divine.

His name, Jesus Christ is purely fictional as well. Jesus was his name, however the latter "Christ" was not tacked on until much later, "Christ" meaning messiah, and derived from the word Christos.

Jesus was part of a religious society that preached love and humility amongst other humans. The Jews, however, were a constant thorn in the Empire's side, and Jesus was seen as a political dissenter, and was sentenced to die so as to make an example to others. A funny note to Jesus' death is that

A) Being crucified was nothing special; in fact, mostly anyone that was seen as a political enemy of the Empire was killed in this fashion (so no, Jesus was not special in this), and
B) It wasn't actually a cross that he was crucified on, it was a capital "T". The top bar, making it look like a lowercase "t", was only later added by the church.
When Jesus was crucified, however, no one seemed to care, and everyone went about their lives. It was only when Jesus' brother James (whom the church denies ever existed) was killed on the steps on the Temple of Solomon that the Jews rose up against the Authoritarian Romans (See: Temple of Solomon; Temple of Herod; Titus). So in truth, no one really knew Jesus existed. He was just another man to all of these people, albeit a demi-prophet.

It wasn't until later that the idea of Christianity was adopted, by the so called St. Paul. The problem with Paul's story, however, was that he was a Gentile (non-Jew) in Roman employ, and created the Christian church for purely political and self-serving reasons. Most of what he based the church on is completely fake, and was actually stolen from other religions, i.e.:

1) Mithras, the soldiers' God, was born in a cave to a virgin to free mankind from evil
2) Egyptian theological drawings always used a halo, mostly to represent something to do with divinity and the sun

, and many other things.

So in truth, Jesus was just a man that lived, and died. Most Christians are completely blinded by their religious dogma to accept this however, and therefore Jesus will always be viewed as the "Son of God"

Jesus was born, lived in a theological-centered society, and was killed. Now he's being used for political purposes, or for greed in most cases

I've met hundreds of Christians who couldn't believe the bible was compiled and still believe till today that it was some holy book that fell from heaven. So it would be a difficult task to try liberate the minds of these people that still believed a book fell from heaven even when it was compiled by non-Christian (Constantine). Back then to support political moves and unity in the community. Just like Moses had to compile the 10 commandment so their could be law and ORDER in the new country. i.e They just moved out of Egypt and the people taught there was no law and started doing all sorts of things. But then Moses knowing the people wont fear him hard to tell them the RULES/10 COMMANDMENT came from a greater AUTHORITY (God) who will punish them for eternity if they'd disobeyed the law. That I think was the foundational constitution of the Israelites.

Some of the book compiled seem to be completely secular and not really into GOD GOD. And even some that where GOD GOD back then where seen as heresy , most of the later Gnostic Gospels. Its been a long time I read them but if I can remember vividly one of the "The Secret Gospel of MARK" book insinuated Jesus was Same-sex. Since inception organized religion as been nothing but a sham and have generated a lot of evil. What is Christian about the competition, greed, the lust for power in the organized religions? It would have been good if the old testament and the new wasn't compiled together. And if the content wasn't influenced for political reasons. If heaven exists there will be more Atheist and Deist there. Its all about living good but perfection is unrealistic. You dont have to be in a religious group to be a good or bad person.

Concerning this cross issue, I totally agree. In the roman days, they did not crucify criminals on 'T' sign cross, they nailed them to the trunk of a tree. That is why Paul said 'cursed is any man who hangs on a tree'. God said he saves who He wills and hardens whom he wills for His glory. God said explicitly in Acts 13:48

"And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed."

The Bible is precise here. In enumerating the numbers it says only as many as were ordained to life believed there was no going over that number. Sorry but thats what the Bible says.

I think a lot of Nigerians don't just know about GM foods. I work for a medical assistance company here in London, we have Shell, ExxonMobil and Nigeria LNG as clients. The rate at which their staffs and wives of their staffs travel to london for different cancer treatment is alarming.

I also think Oyinbo made food is seen as 'posh' in Nigeria. instead of buying food from farmers back home, you will see them at London Heathrow with 5 suitcases filled with processed, packaged foods that obviously contain GM components, and they go home posing with foreign food.

Second, I have to agree with largie, this is a fraud, 419, plain and simple. This guy does not have any exclusive rights to EVERY SINGLE PRODUCTION HOUSE IN NIGERIA (and Ghana as he claims on his site) - we are talking about 250 - 300 production houses. So does it mean every single production house in 9ja sold the rights to him? I don't think so. I think he is just looking for a monopoly, that is why he is always filing false copyright claims against other posters, bringing down other people's channels. he has closed down a lot of my favourite channels where I watch Yoruba movies.

Iam guessing that once he has eliminated all rivals and competition and has the monopoly, he will take down all those movies, and all those who are hooked to his Youtube channel will have to go to his website www.nollywoodlove.com and register for a monthly or annual fee to have access.

About the adverts on his movies, Youtube is paying him everytime a video is viewed, some of his popular movies have 400,000 views. For example if youtube is paying him 2 cents (I believe it's more than that) for everytime an advert is viewed, that is 8,000 dollars just for that 1 posted movie. Now, the question we must ask is if this cat is pocketing the money, or giving a % back to the production house. I think it's the former.

Archaeology Confirms The Bible!

A hidden burial chamber, dating to the first century was discovered in 1990 two miles from the Temple Mount. One bore the bones of a man in his 60s, with the inscription "Yehosef bar Qayafa" -- meaning "Joseph, son of Caiaphas." Experts believe this was Caiaphas, the high priest of Jerusalem, who was involved in the arrest of Jesus, interrogated Him and handed Him over to Pontius Pilate for execution.

A few decades earlier, excavations at Caesarea Maritama, the ancient seat of Roman government in Judea, uncovered a stone slab whose complete inscription may have read: "Pontius Pilate, the prefect of Judea, has dedicated to the people of Caesarea a temple in honour of Tiberius."

The discovery is truly significant, establishing that the man depicted in the Gospels as Judea's Roman governor had the authority ascribed to him by the Gospel writers.
