Rapper Earl Simmons, better known for his stage name DMX, has lived a controversial life. He has been arrested several times due to animal cruelty, reckless driving, drug possession, and identity falsification. Not only that, but DMX also fathered 12 children with different women.

a middle aged woman who boarded a BRT bus alongside other passengers at Irawo heading to Iyana Ipaja surprised other commuters when she went into labour few minutes after boarding.

It was gathered that she became restless immediately after she boarded the bus losing her water in the process. Upon realizing what was happening, female commuters who understood what was happening rushed to her aid.

Moments later, the woman went into labour with the female passengers delivering her of a bouncing baby boy while in transit.

It was gathered that the mother and child alighted the bus in good condition after the delivery.

Dana Airline has debunked rumours making the rounds about a plane crash in Lagos.

The airline which suffered a crash in 2012, said in a tweet that the report is only a fabrication and there is no need to fear. The content and pictures being spread is that of the crash that happened in 2012.

The public should disregard and the 'COPY and PASTE' bloggers should verify what they publish before doing so, to prevent causing unnecessary panic and reopening healing wounds.

Here is the real gists about Pastor Anita name change

Upon the dissolution of her marriage, she had opted to revert back to her maiden name Ebhodaghe. Pastor Anita is the eldest daughter of Mr. John U. Ebhodaghe, OFR, former MD/CEO of Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC), and a Swiss mother. She has a dual citizenship and is reported to be very close to her Swiss mother who stays in London with her.

Reverting to Ebhodaghe might have brought up some issues with her PR. She is likely to be concerned with her image as an international online Pastor and may have been advised to use a more “internationally appealing” name.

Who is Schafer?
The next available name was her mother’s Swiss name Schäfer. Putting Schäfer after her paternal name Ebhodaghe makes her Pastor Anita Edhodaghe Schafer. And if the conspiracy theory is true, then we will be seeing just Pator Anita Schafer, the London-based international pastor.

It is most likely that she may never remarry as she is devoting her time now to full time evangelism and pastoral work.

*MMM Zimbabwe offers 100% mavro growth in 30days. This was implemented to attract participants due to the economic hardship in the country. This mavro growth for those of us in business is called market penetration.

*Again their mavro was never frozen just like ours in Nigeria which multiplies for 15 days and also freezes for that long before withdrawal.

*What happened in Zimbabwe is an implementation of what is already going on in Nigeria. MMM has seen that they don’t need no market penetration to attract participants. Their mavro growth was reduced from 100% to 20%. 10% below what we are getting in Nigeria(30%). And the mavro is also frozen for 14days just as its been done in Nigeria.

*Did anyone lose their money? No. What happened is when u pledge 10,000, instead of getting 20,000 reward in 30days, which is 100% reward, you get 12,000 which is 20% reward. They are still rewarded with 2,000. In Nigeria we get 3,000 reward for 10,000 pledge.*

Remember what the government in Nigeria warned about MMM? Zimbabweans are experiencing it first hand.

Thousands of people, among them civil servants and vendors, have lost thousands of dollars to fraudulent online pyramid scheme MMM Global Zimbabwe after it collapsed recently. The social financial network, which relied on an accelerating number of new members to pay off the old, abruptly terminated its services last week leaving participants stranded.

Zimbabweans have in the past months been joining the online investment scheme in droves in a bid “to get rich quickly”. The Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe warned people that the scheme was fraudulent and there was no legal recourse in the event they lost their money.
The scheme advertises itself as a mutual aid fund under which recruited members contribute money to assist others and are promised investment returns of 30 percent per month. Some of the people left counting their losses told The Herald that they received emails that the scheme had been suspended until September 15.

“All along things were moving in the right direction and we now have nowhere to claim our investments,” said Mr Tinashe Muza of Harare.

“When we started putting our funds in the scheme one could get assistance within seven days but things later changed to 14 days and when we were shut out the waiting period was 21 days. What it simply means is that the number of people in need of help has outnumbered the number of people joining. Right now we have nowhere to get our money which we invested.”

MMM stands for Mavrodi Mondial Moneybox and takes its name from its founder, Sergei Panteleevich Mavrodi of Russia. He founded MMM in 1989 and the scheme was declared bankrupt three years later leading to the disappearance of Mavrodi until his arrest in 2003.

While some people who were skeptical about the scheme started with small amounts, it is believed some poured in thousands of dollars anticipating higher returns. The RBZ said the schemes were fraudulent as existing investors were ‘paid money not from genuine market investment of their funds, but from contributions made by new investors, until a point when the scheme can no longer attract new investors,”

“The participants are made aware that they make their money by recruiting new members who in turn must recruit more members,” warned the Central Bank.

Mr. Whyte also identified Senator Godswill Akpabio, a former governor of Akwa Ibom State, ex-militant turned contractor, Government Ekpemupolo (alias Tompolo), Raymond Dokpesi, the founder of African Independent Television (AIT), the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB), Kingsley Kuku, Kimi Angozi, and Patrick Akpobolokemi as other sponsors.

The splinter group, which renamed itself Reformed Niger Delta Avengers (RNDA), had recently declared its opposition to NDA’s destruction of oil infrastructure in the region, warning that it would disclose the names of individuals and groups backing the militant group.

Mr. Whyte’s statement revealed that the NDA’s sympathizers included Edwin K. Clark, Tony Uranta, Daniel Alabrah, Ms. Annkio Briggs, and Olisa Metuh, a former spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Following the release of the list, a source close to former President Jonathan told SaharaReporters that there was “no iota of truth to the claim that former President Goodluck Jonathan has a hand in the violence in the Niger Delta.”

The source, who asked not to be identified, said he was in touch with Mr. Jonathan, adding that the former president was considering issuing a formal statement to dismiss the claims made by Mr. Whyte.

“If former President Jonathan wanted chaos in Nigeria and the Niger Delta, he would have refused to concede the election to General Buhari and the APC,” the source said.

The Oyo state command of the Nigerian customs has warned that the Nigerian customs service does not sell auction goods on social media. While speaking to newsmen at a press briefing, the Oyo state customs boss Comptroller Tope Ogunkua, said I have seen my pictures and some other officers placed on social media advertising auction sales‎. This is fake, fraudulent and the Nigerian customs has nothing to do with such sales.

The briefing also elicits the activities of the Oyo state command , the successes and the challenges they are facing, in his words, the comptroller said we have called this briefing to inform and educate the public on our activities, as at today our mid year revenue stands at over 7 billion naira but there is a slight drop in this revenue compared to what we had as at this time last year, and this is as a result of some government fiscal policies and other barriers. Though we are working on strategies to help us boost this revenue going forward, he said

I was 19 in my second year of University and I felt inadequate, my self –esteem hadn’t risen much from my early teenage years. I had decided to stop raving (aka partying, clubbing) as it wasn’t bringing me a boyfriend, every rave was the same and I felt empty. My best friend at University was the most dedicated Christian I had ever met, we had both decided to stop raving to focus on our respective faiths. We were very close course mates, work mates and flatmates but she was Christian and I was Muslim.

It was never an issue, sure we debated but we were respectful enough that we never crossed lines and it never affected our friendship. I was a very confident Muslim, was adamant that there was nothing I would want more than to die as one going to paradise. I would speak with soo much passion and conviction that, those in limbo with their faith couldn’t help but give Islam a second thought. That all changed in one night. It was the month of Ramadan and I was feeling extra spiritual. I was at University and I had an early night.

I found myself in a waiting room alongside my best friend and two of my friends. I was soo scared!! I looked around at my friends and they were soo calm and I was the only one shaking and frantically worrying about my mother as we were waiting for the roller coaster to take us to the place we were to be judged. I woke up full of fear and not wanting to go back into the nightmare. I knocked on my friends door scared to sleep, telling her the dream I had, completely baffled that my subconscious wasn’t as confident as my conscious self. I told my mum about the dream, she brushed it away telling me not to worry that she has dreams like that all the time. So I pushed it to the back of my mind, shuddering at the thought. After having religious based conversations with friends I began to question things about my Islamic faith that I had never considered, why wasn’t the signs to watch out for in the last days in the Qur’an like it was in Bible’s book of Revelations? Why couldn’t I pray to God whilst on my period what if I really needed him at such times? Why did I have to learn another language to speak to God – after all he’s Omniscient?!

I questioned these silently and would pore over my Qur’an trying to find the answers. Me and two friends were up late at night talking about dreams, the conversation switched when my friend turned to me and said “You never talk about that dream that you had”. I was taken by surprise and lost composure asking why she would bring it up knowing how it made me feel. She pushed and told me that she felt the dream was significant and that I should come to her church, no obligation but she felt if I got nothing from it at least I would enjoy the music and would never have to go back if I didn’t like it.

For me, I had been to many churches, going to faith based primary and secondary schools, having Christian friends and members of my extended family so it wasn’t new to me. In fact I would leave the church programs determined to be a better Muslim! The next day was Sunday, and when I woke up I suddenly felt apprehensive and regretted agreeing to go to church. I told my friend who reassured me again that I’d be fine. I went back to my room and said to God, “I’m going to this place today, whatever you want to show me I pray you show it to me”.

I had never prayed like that before. When we got outside the church I felt like I couldn’t go in, and suddenly felt emotional and overwhelmed. So I got myself together, slightly embarrassed I entered. The praise and worship songs were familiar from my days at school, I closed my eyes and tried to hold back the tears that were fighting through. When the praise and worship ended, I quickly wiped away the tears hoping no one had seen. Before the service closed there was an altar call, “Of course you’re not going to get up” “Why would you even think of getting up”’ this was the argument I was having with myself.

When the service closed I stood up pictured myself running out of there, but my legs didn’t cooperate with my brain. I stood there rooted, and I ....

Here are some of the things you need to know about the N-Power Teacher Corps programme to enable you understand what it entails…

1. The programme is a product of N-Power, an initiative of the Federal Government, including various MDAs, agencies and ministries, which is aimed at curbing unemployment in the country by developing programmes to engage youths in entrepreneurship, skill development, handiwork and teaching, among others.

2. Applications are to start Sunday, June 12th, 2016 while the programme itself shall commence August 2016

3. The Teacher Corps is for HND and B.sc/B.A/B.Ed graduates

4. The Teacher Corps programme shall engage 500,000 unemployed graduates and deploy them to schools to teach

5. The programme is similar to the known National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) programme and recruits must have completed the NYSC programme

6. The Teacher Corps is a VOLUNTARY service to the nation. IT IS NOT AN OFFER OF EMPLOYMENT FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT but only an avenue to develop a skillset and relevant experience as the youth applies for and gets better offers. The pay is ONLY AN INCENTIVE to encourage the corps members.

7. The Teacher Corps recruitment is not AUTOMATIC! Prospective corps members shall fill an application, PASS AN APTITUDE TEST and other RELEVANT TESTS and show dedication to developing useful skillsets in the programme. The applicant must also show willingness to get a job in the course of the programme.

8. The Teacher Corps programme is meant for ONLY those within the age brackets of 18-35 years. No more, no less!

9. Teachers will be posted in accordance with the laid down procedures of the group.
