Apple When Apple came up with this tagline in 1997, it saw a huge boost in sales and in its stock prices. It gave the brand an immediate innovative perception, and it followed this up with the release of unique multi-colored computers, and many more revolutionary designs since. Apple truly thinks differently! |
If you own a business, you might want to brand it up to give your business its identity, to give it that uniqueness. Branding encompasses everything about your business. From the brand name, to the logo, to the taglines, to the type of services you render to the ways, and manners you render those services. Generally branding is what makes your business different and stand out from that of your competitors that produce similar things or offers similar services as you do. It's what makes companies like Amazon, FedEx, Nike, Microsoft different from their competitors. There's one aspect of branding that I want to talk about today. It is usually the most ignored because people don't really know its relevance. It is taglines. What is a tagline? It is that awesome two to three words that help companies relate with their customers. It is what a company uses to stay in the hearts of its customers. A tagline is a short memorable description that clearly communicates the brand message. It is often presented in conjunction with a brand logo. A tagline goal is to attach significant, lasting meaning to the brand in a way that resonates with the consumer. You use a tagline when you want your customers to think of you any time they hear certain words. For example, I cannot hear the word Life's Good and not think about LG. If your tagline is right, it can make sales for you without you having to explain what your services are. Take KFC's- it's finger licking good. KFC doesn't need to explain how their chicken or food tastes, seeing this tagline will give you a mental picture of what to expect from eating KFC. If your brand projects originality, you might want a tagline that shows originality, one that encourages people to be themselves. For example “be the best you can be!” Your tagline doesn't necessarily have to be new or freshly invented. It could be from a trend, a song, a movie, anything that sums up your brand. Nike's “Just do it” tag was coined from a convict's last minute words. |
slyfox35:OP if you love yourself don't let him come back into your life. He wants to destroy you. Someone who persuaded you to come to a foreign land and started misbehaving the next day you arrived there. He means nothing good for you. See probably his dreams are to see you beg from him. OP if you love yourself, avoid him at all cost. |
Hmm hmm
Keep telling yourself that! ![]() |

Sometimes we are pushed to do things that are absurd. He could've just asked if he could take any of those things. Unless banky W is a strict boss. |
wow this is great news it gives us opportunity to start afresh I.e borrow afresh and start incurring new debts. old things are passed away! ![]() |
Wow am a bit happy with the way we've managed Covid-19 in Nigeria Considering the fact that we hold more than 17% of the total population of Africa, we've been able to keep our deaths to 10 of 700 that's 1.4% of the total deaths in Africa. |

You mean thieves will disgrace another set of thieves out of power. ![]() I really wish none of the two parties comes into power and that's why any time I vote, I make sure it's not any of the two parties of corruption, confusion and misinformation. |
Nigerians (mob) first impression after catching a female thief is to naked them. Nawa o! But seriously jungle justice is barbaric, it doesn't tell a good story about Nigerians. If at all the people are going to punish hoodlums, let there be some kind of control. Jungle justice should be stopped! |
In the recent incident that resulted in the death of 47 soldiers, the military authorities denied that the soldiers were directly killed by the terrorists. According to them, the convoy was carrying bombs when it ran into a Boko Haram ambush. Unfortunately, as they opened fire, the bombs were hit, triggering further explosions that claimed the lives of the soldiers. John Enenche, a major-general and Coordinator, Defence Media Operations, said, “They were not killed by the terrorists; they were killed by a bomb explosion because they were conveying bombs.”I don't know why we always hide information or pretend things are not as bad as they seem even when the ugly is glaring. VP Osinbajo is right, the Nigerian soldiers need to get close to the people in the communities so they can provide them with valuable information as regarding location and strategy of the BH terrorists but how do you guarantee the safety of those people you are getting intel from? |
Though we are not happy about the effects of Covid-19, we can not help but notice the generosity it is inspiring in we Nigerians. God bless the givers. |
There might be more to this than the normal. I wouldn't advice the op to meddle in it but if he wishes to, he should get close to the man by assisting with his chores and when his defenses are down he should ask the big question. |
Just as Lagos leads with its internally generated revenues, it also leads with Covid-19 active case in Nigeria. Nawa o |
Nigerians were thrown out of their homes in China and Our government isn't sending relief items to them, USA had to step in for our own citizens. |
Sometimes you feel you’ve written the perfect CV, done everything right and stilll you don’t get called for interviews. It is a known fact that employers only look at each CV for six seconds before deciding if it passes to the next level or the other way round. You have to learn to keep your CV short and loaded only with important and key information. Here I will be revealing 4 key things to do to your CV that will increase your chances of landing a job you desire. 1 of 4 Ensure your CV beats the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) this is one of the most complicated aspect of writing a CV it is also the most important because it will determine if your CV makes it to the next round or not. What do i mean? Most companies receive thousands of applications when they put out a position. They then engage the service of a CV bot called “Applicant Tracking System”. This bot search for keywords in relation to the position you are applying for on your CV if not found, the CV will not make it to the next round. You can beat the bot by researching keywords in relation to the position you are applying for and putting them in strategic places on your CV like the skill section, the experience section. Note: this doesn’t mean that you should look up random keywords that you do not possess the skill. What am saying is that instead of using your own words, there are some keywords that the bot will recognize take this keywords and use them. 2 of 4 Go the extramile to make research about the company It would be a terrible move to apply for a position at a company you know nothing about. It is only good practice to know little about the company. For example lets say you passed the ATS screening and you are called for an interview and the interviewer asks “what do we do here” you should be able to answer by telling him/her what they do in that company and how your position is relevant to that company. More importantly about making research is that you would be able to structure your CV and cover letter in a way that will impress your employer and give them the feeling that you know a lot about them. 3 of 4 Sending your CV This is an aspect that most people take lightly but trust me, its just as important as all other aspect of your CV. Cover letters and CV are usually sent via emails or through the company’s official website. When you send a CV via email, do not forward a CV you sent to a previous employer i.e if you sent a CV to Zenith Bank, its a terrible idea to send that same CV to Access Bank. Do not send a screen shot of your CV this is rude and it means you do not want the job. The general accepted format for CV is Word Document, Txt file, Rtf and sometimes (if stated by employer) Pdf. One more thing on sending CV is that you should never password your CV for any reason. 4 of 4 Always submit a cover letter along with your CV when applying for a job. Your cover letter is your selling point, it is what tells your employer you are the right person for the job. It gives you an opportunity to express yourself, your achievements and results. It shows your knowledge about the company and your interest in working for the company. It tells your employer what you have learnt from previous experiences to attract your employer. Your must learn to create success stories on your cover letter using the CAR (challenge, action, result) model.

If there is also a website that allows people publish their work while others come and purchase it from their site and the owner still gets his maximum profits. I would also like to know |
I have been trying to discover how I can restrict access to some books I created for a set of people but haven't found a convincing way. I created a summary of a course for my department and I hope to sell it upon completion but my fear is one person might buy and start distributing to others without my knowledge. I thought about document encryption with Microsoft Word 2016. I was able to password those documents but will still need to release the password to buyers and they can then in turn resell at a cheaper rate or just give it out. Please I really need an idea of how to protect this document so that even if someone sends to you, you would still have to come purchase from the original owner. |
