Believe me, democracy needs be modified to accommodate local variables.

This is where I d say the coach was stupid. He should have played someone else instead of Mikel. Of all the players on the pitch that day, Mikel was the least motivated to continue playing in the world cup in Russia. Even if we had advanced, he would have flown back to Naija to sort out things.

While I dont blame him, he played most of his passes backwards. He could not motivate the team to hangon till the end. And to the people that kidnapped his dad, all doors to their success in life will be shut! unless they repent.

I have reservations of power that would command all the success in the world.

I am not ashamed to say it is always a thing of joy to assume boldness.

From my richer equipage of faith, I can move mountains without much grammar and logic.

I have a super yielding wisdom,

thick sincere integrity,

fruitful creativity,

I have the realest abilities.




I have speed to pursue, overtake and recover all that mattered and still matters.

I no longer need deception to feel secured

I own an immeasurable height of accruing success.

I have a mind full of possibilities.

He renewed my mind and refined me.

This instantiates me and gives essence to my present stance.



You see, Life is basically lived through choice making. The most of it, aside from the naturals, being projections from wit-demanding, delicate decisions which would be crystallised into existential realities called choices.


We often sleep with these choices breeding in our very breadth, and still wake to commune with them.

Choices are intrinsic, essential and effectual in all sorts.
They can make and mar regardless of who is involved.
No matter ones destiny, story, caste and creed, a wrong choice doesn't spare, any more than a good choice doesn't deprive.

I had made choices in the past -the excellent, the good, the bad and the ugly ones.
I had literally cheated death a  couple of times whilst executing things for myself.

I kept on struggling just as so many in that miserable tide. This inherent business of choosing and deciding what should or could be as the case may be, distanced me from aptitude and glory.

Until I made just one more choice, that was going to take care of everything else.




'I chose Jesus'



In a sincere, active and genuine manner.

And then,

Being born of an incorruptible seed, He first gave me light and therein I found life!

I grew... step by step, The Spirit leaded and still leads me into my deep riches in Christ.

He exchanged my unproductive life with something more useful than all the gold in the world -His glorious life.

Now, I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me

His grace is ever sufficient

How did it happen?

I know of just two things :

I didn't only believe in him, I totally surrendered.

My dried-up bones received life when I sincerely surrendered them all to Him.

Today,

I am not just hopeful of His kingdom , I am useful to Him and to His entire kingdom.

Then I thought, ' If He has qualified me for His kingdom, what then can disqualify me on earth?


' What then can separate me from His love ?

' What would come in between me and His grace? '

NOTHING!
I say NO - THING!
Nothing today!
Nothing tomorrow!
Nothing forever!

He is my portion forever!

He is The King of kings, The Lord of lords, The redeemer The..
He is more than I know

Then since I have Him, I have more than I know. Wow! Hallelujah!

With Him, I would get to find out all of this one after the other. And as a rule, find out His daily will as He provides my daily bread.

With Christ, I can only keep getting better.

Guess what, He is everything

So I have everything, because I have Him.

With Him, I can't make mistakes again! Yes, Only with Him. He has made things that easy.

He spoke and still speaks for me when I can't!

He acts and sees the same! When I faint, He keeps me going.

All these for me?

Again and again, I would say, He is my portion forever.

After our first parents disobeyed God, man had lost his God assigned glory, and got his authority shared amongst creatures like snakes and situations like child-birthing. In a pathetically acquired fate, man resigned into limitless inadequacies. So much that he lost his grounds to sin and its banes.

But Jesus was there as the word that created all things. So He knows just how inadequate we are, hence He completes us by taking over us. Only when we choose Him.

He restores our authority at once, that we once again can tread upon serpents and scorpions and have mastery over life's situations as it used to be.

What a faithful God!

Choose Christ today, and every choice you'd make afterwards, will always be right.
There is no shadow of turning with Him.

Personally, I don't know of any school that offers Mechatronics in the undergraduate level. Most offer it at the postgraduate level.

Mech Eng is still very very relevant, and will continue to be in the foreseeable future.

Dear sir this is not about being unpatriotic. Every government is facing the same receding budget allocation compared to the previous GEJ era including Rivers State but still we are still seeing concerted transformation projects in a number of states like Rivers, Kaduna and Lagos to name a few.

Under the Udom administration truth be told, few expected him to match the massive strides in infrastructural development of his predecessor but he had one of the best foundations to consolidate on.

He has been unable to sustain even 30% of the infrastructural development pace of his predecessor, he has been unable to maintain the structures he met on ground, he is yet to complete any of the projects not completed by his predecessor and we are yet to see the impact of the so called dakada initiative in terms of job creation and entrepreneurial empowerment in terms of loans.

I must commend him for the dakada initiative though because our people have always believed in receiving cash gifts from people in government to working. That said, I'm yet to hear of state sponsored farms for example, or for supervised loans to budding Akwa Ibom entrepreneurs looking for investment.

In the Akpabio era we heard of the Ibom power plant. What is this government doing to maintain it and expand it's generation capacity as well as work on the power distribution network of the state knowing the key role power has to play in infrastructural development?

Instead we keep placing our hopes on one syringe factory here or one metering company there, placing all our hopes on private sponsorship without doing more to provide the enabling environment to provide that support.

Come to think of it, how many scholarships have been awarded by this government?

What has been done to improve the health sector in the state?

Bro we can only move forward when we are truthful to ourselves. THREE YEARS DON CARRY WAKA and we are still in planning phase. The honest truth is that our current allocation is still 10 times what some other states are collecting. Every day budding Akwa Ibom youths are leaving the state to other places in search of jobs elsewhere.

Udom CAN and SHOULD do more to move the state forward. Compared to Wike, his fellow PDP stalwart he has done nothing worthy of commendation. Being a technocrat I expected much more results from him but so far all we have heard are excuses and more excuses. Imagine something as basic as streetlights cannot be maintained! Then why am I not surprised that the 20th anniversary hospital is having issues?

Certainly he CAN. He has what it takes but not necessarily all it takes. The expanse of previously-unreached locations, in terms of government projection, has also been brought into the development radar in thick reality. Such realities costs lots of money to be worked out.

There is an emerging gumption from within the ministries to perform not because there is this tenet philosophy to keep up with, but because every bit of their efforts would count at the end of every month. This too survives on money.

It also cost ' monies ' and fortunes to see to it that at the end of every four weeks, a fair attempt is made for this spendings to be accounted for.


For the 20th anniversary hospital, I think he had inherited so many too-sacred-to-be-mentioned responsibilities; money, and destiny bounded ones for that matter. So much that he can't risk his dream for some illicit loyalty. Should he take one more thing off is pre-election vision to make room for one more inherited responsibilty, he would technically become a failure. Even at that, there is an excellent on-going effort targeted towards not only keeping the facility warm with activities, but also to raise the odds of making for its planetary relevance.

When making comparisons with other states, analyze their peculiar economic, social and political constants to see if there is any basis for matching both on the poles of changing priorities. We all know what weight of possibilities and options internally generated revenues brings to nigerian states who are predisposed to enjoy such. Lagos and Rivers belong in this bracket.


With the mixture of coverage that pre-to-colonial federal government sponsored investments, and federally attracted investors to keep citizens economically engaged whilst sucking human resources from other states into their public and private workforces, brings to this states,very little is left for their present day government to worry about. Taxation alone makes them well cushioned against blows of drop in oil price. In this states, even when allocations would drop, taxation maintains a steady influx.

I also wish to commend the effort of El Rufia in trying to bring Kaduna to a sudden limelight. It is all just a few miles from becoming what could lift them above the level of other states, to that of Rivers and Lagos states.

Udom's list is a melting pot of two visions. He has been hauling it for three years. That is enough success from a critical perspective. That is why he was lift-elected in the first place. He is a technocrat indeed, the quiet truths are altogether a prove. Continuity has always be touted for. We all know and are comfortable with the essence of continuity. Our past democratic administrations had laboured so much to take us this far. But then, he can't just become assume a sitcom role in his own leadership. Good enough, he isn't dumping any project to die. In his permutations as we've seen, every project of previous administrations naturally gets its chance when such listing is due.

This is just a scratch to a huge tonnage. He has the most of it under his throat- a lucid depiction of his democrat character. An unflinching patriot! Just like you....

I am really proud of you, not only because your wrapping words were suggestive of a pro-democracy citizen, you accommodate the balance and wit needed to pull unbiased criticisms. I hope that someday, your sort of persona would find its way to that top where matters are made and destroyed.

A proper orientation should whisper to the punisher the common fact that a JSS student is almost naturally innocent of such 'crimes'.

Then the psychometric efficiency that every certificate suggests is always subject to further testing(s). Not everyone carrying certificates were ' worthy in character '. Schools often do not prove that.

Is it that shell of a syringe factory? Or the so called metering company that till tomorrow no one has even felt their impact in Eket talk less of the whole of Akwa Ibom?

Where are Jobs being created?

Where are the roads being built? Even streetlights in Uyo are no longer working because the contract for powering them has been stopped!

How many jobs has he created for the Akwa Ibom people?

Truth be told Akwa Ibom is still living in the past glory of the Akpabio era. Look at the massive strides Wike is making in Rivers state then you will understand the extent to which Akwa Ibom is now underperforming.

Udom has the potential to step up his game massively. He should do that before he can be celebrated.

» Do you even care to know just about how much of the halved allocation had been and is still being spent on administrative deficit cancellations ?

» How about the sinister collateral bondings on Udom's inherited slate ? Don't you care that it might affect the prospects of industrialization as it has as yet done ?





Quit being this unpatriotic for whatever bias you are breeding on -that is if you are . Udom has a year and possibly another term left to strike a proportionality that would dazzle our history.

Dear Reno, purify your stained motive! You are beginning to sound like a baby -less rational and more indifferent. That's no good news to our common prospect as youths. Don't subvert your aggregating social essence. Should you continue venting without caution, you will end up losing that voice.

In every sense, 2015 elections produced the most uninformed set of leaders on an even scaling. When information meant for public consumption aren't censored before dispensation, then there isn't any legalized basis to summon a neat response from people starved of basic understanding of these happenings.
