Direct primary is not a new thing in politics, only that we all must acknowledge the fact that our politics is just emerging. In 2012, the APC forcefully imposed Akeredolu on the Ondo State fold and several of such were done at various levels of the party I 2015, of note is the fact that the party is in a turmoil as to adopting the process for all her primaries. I think the process should be allowed to unfold gradually without rushing it's emerging. |
If that is true Sir, you should have retired from a long time and become a political guide to upcoming ones. |
Since the inception of this administration, the only focus was blame game and they are still doing so gallantly till date to the point that they have indirectly accused the President of sabotaging his own effort at giving direction to the security outfit. I wonder how Saraki will be directing an appointee of Buhari, that means the paternity of his children should be questioned if Buhari agrees to it that Daura takes order from Saraki. |
To this end, it can be concluded that all politician is seeking for his/her personal interest. Ever since Oshiomole became the APC national chairman, he has not told us how his party will put an end to the mirage of problems facing Nigeria. When Saraki and the National Assembly were begging MDA's to come and defend their budgets, he wasn't committing treason, so why label him as a criminal now if not for the fact that Oshiomole is after his own selfish likes. |
Very unfortunate, I wish Premium Times can sue them for distrust because they lied to them. It is the prerogative of every journalist to protect his/her source and the Police don't have the right to detain anybody for that rather they have to tighten every loose end to avoid information leakage. Above all, the let out information is not against national security. Except if the Police have some things to hide. |
That's the best way to describe Atiku and his so called students.

Reading from the book of Acts 16:15 & 25-33, you'll see that for every new convert, there was a baptismal process. Baptism is to show that your sins have been washed away. Jesus our Lord passed through this process likewise Paul did. The spiritual baptism is to take you to the next level of divine communionship with God. There's no salvation without baptism even when you realise Christ has died for you. |
Quite unfortunate, the APC is now calling on the PDP to look beyond her party in other to find a solution to our nations crises. The APC's administration at the state level was a model this nation wanted to copy then. Probably some people are made to do exploits at the lower level and the APC might not be an exception. Anyway, the nations problem isn't APC's nor PDP's problem but Nigerians problem. |
Nigerians will never forgive the APC if at the end of the day it was discovered that the whole Chibok issue was a scam. I only pity the Northerners who kills one another in the name of religion. They're now turning to the South so that they can farm and breed their flocks, we all know that if the entire country is given to them today, before sunset, they'll kill each other for land ownership. This is the path the APC will tow to disrepute and invariably to the nation's disintegration. |
At first, let me say you have exhausted the whole land and surprisingly, you claim to stay outside the country. You should know that putting a 6 phase bedroom flat on such a small land is total aberration to planning standard, you know too well that your deeds will not be granted in the advanced country where you reside, so I expect you to show good planning example. The problems with the project are such that; *The land is too small for the project. **Over 75% of the land has been used for the structure therefore denying the building aesthetic, ambient and convenience. ***By the time the project is completed, light and aeration will be unaccessible within the building. ****As you've pointed out yourself, parking becomes a problem and this will encourage on street parking. Hence, the solution is this, even though it's going to be expensive but at the end, it will command the price you put it; remove an entire ground floor closer to the gate and sustain the upper structure with columns. An experienced architect or civil engineer will get this done for you effectively. Wishing you all the best. |
This certificate issue is unbecoming of the APC, a whole gubernatorial candidate saying he lost such a vital document and a docile President saying his certificate was with the Nigerian Army, sooner than later, it will be wrong for any employer of labour to demand for certificate from intending employees. |
Later, someone will abscond with a 9 year old to marry. This man has justified his position. |
MY RESPONSE TO SIR SAAD ABUBAKAR THE SULTAN OF SOKOTO'S STATEMENT. Truly Sir, looking at the disposal of ammunitions, bombs and all sort of heinous crimes as you've stated, it's expedient that some adherents of other religions will have a hand in it, but these people don't do these in the name of religion, and as a matter of fact non believers. Again Sir, the Christian community will not harbour anyone found wanting in this regard unlike in Islam where the perpetrators of evil are protected all in the name of brotherhood. Again Sir, as touching the use of hijab, if it's a right and not a privilege, nothing stops a Christian student in the North from learning Christian Religious Study in any of the schools there because its their right. I will want you to recall that religion affiliation is very sensitive in Nigeria, hence, I for one still believe that anyone who wants to put on hijab in Southern Nigeria should attend an Islamic school be it public or private because, the rights of our founding father's who established the schools are also been trampled upon, in the sense that, if they want religion to be attached, they would have incorporated that at inception. |
True talk Sir |
If the money will be spent for the purpose for which they are allocated who would have minded what's going on. In all of my years in Ondo state, I've not seen a single constituency project. Let's stop this allocation to the national assembly so that it will make the office less attractive. |
I hope this is not an EFCC invitation letter. |
Over 50 persons have shown interest, when the state chapter said they should pay #2.5 million for running of the party Secretariat, only 7 paid. Now that nomination of form will cost #5 million with another #500,000, how many people will pay? Distinguishing men from boys. |
This is a flagrant abuse of power, Gov. Ambode needs to take this up because the instrument of the state has been disreputed. They must be punished |
NigerDeltan:If an Oyinbo man had done this with some parperrazzi, you wouldn't complain. Appreciate your own. Fools like you will not allow ingenuity to rise in this nation |
Congrats to the new Jegun of Ile Oluji, but help us prevail on that prodigal son to revitalize this state. |
Thank God the occupant of the car didn't die, such could have happened anywhere in the world, but right here, I guess there are no sufficient wind breakers in that area, hence the tree has to bear the pressure only. |
Can every country stop Nigerians from entering their country so as to stop brain drain and to help stop these bad image reception from countries who should not have been able to loosen Nigeria's shoes if not for our bad leaders. |
Just like her mother in looks but prays she has her heart. |
This is a good development but I think training our men in military hardware and software development will help us go a long way and self reliant. |
As for me, if everyone back home can believe in their hand, believe they can be blessed here and ignore most of these set of persons when they return home, common sense will return to their head. |
If this crew had been that exceptional, we shouldn't be importing fuel by now, our roads and airport shouldn't be an eyesore, we shouldn't be importing rice, we shouldn't be having epileptic power supply, our heritage shouldn't be soiled. We don't need them anymore because they depleted our foreign reserves. |
The pains of yesteryears, the agonies of seasons the cankerworms of destitution in our Nation's oil rich region has been shut out. Now Ken Sari Wiwa can rest in peace. He died for something. |
This is history in the making |
This is what Nigerians really needs at this perilous time of economic disillusion. We all must go back to a situation where we are not ashamed of doing any job as long as it's legal. |
That'll amount to political harakiri, because he's only trying to cry foul over a sweetened juice, after all he was once a minister and championed no course towards that. |
A country cannot just continue to print money so as to be rich because if She does, it will lead to hyper-inflation. The volume of money in circulation must only be for the available products within the market space. |
Even if that reason is enough, the people of Niger-Delta should learn what we call public participation. The oil rich region has an abundant of rich fellow who can toil the region around, anyway bulk of them works at the oil firms situated there, after all Jonathan was President for six years he didn't initiate the Ogoni clean up, Asari-Dokubo had enough money to buy war ship and several of them wasted good money on frivolities. If persons like Asari have used the money they acquired illegally judiciously for their area, Nigerians are not that wicked, we would have called for pardoning them. |
