Trash,Buhari had contested three times and lost,i could recalled in 2011,he came to Tinubu for support at the eve of election,but he told him it was too late (because he tactically support GEJ),he told him that the better thing to do is to start strategising after the election and they started after the election. Don't forget that Buhari lost his state to GEJ in 2011,where were El rufai,maman Daura and others when Tinubu carryout the media campagn and ensure he emerged winner at the primary election at the expense of the likes of Atiku and Kankaso who have the financial advantage to emerge winner at the primary.

2014..jonathan broke the agreement and was becoming powerful.

Lots of betrayals and realignment.
Jonathan was strong and sure of defeating any candidates..they party offered him their ticket against its will.

2014..buhari popularity has increase from the almajiris and low class to the elites and university students..
Their was no choice..atiku was not an option and cwould divide the northern votes,likewise kwankwaso lamido saraki or any other person from the north..and they needed this power.
So everybody que..tinubu saw his chance of being a v.p..he qued too.
What the north neeede was a 25 pecent vote from some number of state..kapish..
Politics played out and the rest is history.

Now if not for oneness and unity of the north..dont you think that atiku in his usual self would have join another party..likewise other aspirants..or tinubu richer or wealthier than him/them?
