Religion / Re: I Always Hve The Same Dream With My Best Friend Whenevr We Sleep On The Same Bed by Ifloxy(f): 2:13pm On Oct 23, 2012
And her mum called this morning saying her pastor had a revelation about her(my friend).According to the pastor,he saw her dressed in a very revealing wedding dress,in front of the church, and the dress was marked bad in front and at the back. We don't know what the message is all about.

It has happened about 3times now.Last night I had a dream that got me puzzled.I woke up this morning and told her, instead she was shocked, and narrated similar dream. In that dream, I went to a very big church, dressed in a party wear that was so revealing, the skirt i wore was so short that my butt was showing,I was trying to pull it up 2cover my butt, but it kept going down. The pastor and his wife called me out and was admonishing me,on my dressing. We don't wear revealing clothes,in real life,so i guess the dream wasn't about our dressing in real life

I am confused at this situation.Whenever I sleep on the same bed with my childhood friend,we wake up having the same dream. And it is always like a revelation of what wil happen to either of us or our family.I don't know what to make of it.We don't see often because of distance and our programmes, but when I visit her or she visits me we wake up having same dream. What could this mean
Politics / Re: Women In Abuja Are Not Safe – Dorothy Njemanze by Ifloxy(f): 3:24pm On Oct 02, 2012
I believe her story cos i was once a victim of such in Abuja.I Went 4 a party with my cousin,it was getting late n he wanted 2stay back,I told him i was taking a taxi home as i was abt entering d taxi I noticed people running.A guy told me 2run,I dint cos i felt I did nt commit any crime,b4 i knew wat was happening some men dragged me 4rm d taxi n pushed me 2a bus full of gurls.when i demanded an explanation, they labelled me a prostitute.I brought my Id bt they were nt interested. They even said if we could show them we weren't wearing a G-string pant they would let us go.It is a long story though, spent d night there n they forced us to say we were prostitutes.I dint say that, but it cost me aloti.ib4

cotton101: this topis is now confusing me and the poster has some gaps in her story. is ur problem the club issue or his not picking your calls or are u just frustrated being the breadwinner

anyway don't want to knock another woman while she is down - but poster - u need to make a decision for yourself, children and marriage.

why do these married men go to club self without their wives? i don't remember any day/weekend/night my father would go out to a bar or restaurant or wherever those "older" (LOL grin) people used to go in those days without my mum. na wah o!!
. U are right,my hubby hasn't gone clubbing since i got pregnant, cos he can't go without me.we attend social functions together n that is d way it should be
Family / Re: What Do You Do When Your Husband Refuse To Pick Your Call Anytime He Is In D Clu by Ifloxy(f): 6:22pm On Sep 01, 2012
@sisi_kill From what the op wrote,u'd find out she has a problem with her husbands inability to stand up 2the familys need and also she doesn't like his clubbing activities, which probably results 2his inability 2pick calls. And a man who abandons his family responsibilty to seek comfort outside is an irresponsible man.bi
Family / Re: What Do You Do When Your Husband Refuse To Pick Your Call Anytime He Is In D Clu by Ifloxy(f): 5:49pm On Sep 01, 2012
It's a pity that some women have 2go 2ru all these.my advise is she should stop giving him money and embarking on those projects cos if he has money 2go clubbing he should as well stand up to his duties.she shouldn't back out,she should still try to make things work although not by loosing her self esteem.Backing out on problem is the reason why we have high rate of divorce.
Family / Re: What Do You Do When Your Husband Refuse To Pick Your Call Anytime He Is In D Clu by Ifloxy(f): 5:38pm On Sep 01, 2012
dayokanu: OP,

Is it his clubbing you have a problem with or his not picking your calls at clubs?

Cos if its picking your calls at clubs you should know that clubs are very noisy and almost impossible to pick calls there

from your post I think you are concerned about the wrong thing, Picking your calls in club is the least of your worries
are you justifying the mans clubbing activities and ignoring his primary duty..his family.sorry to say,it looks like the man is not responsible @all,cos men with meagre salaries think of taking care of their family rather than wasting the money
Family / Re: Ever Felt Like You Married The Wrong Person? by Ifloxy(f): 5:11pm On Sep 01, 2012
kulyie: Ok,leme just summarise dis whole thing using late pst bimbo odukoyas words (my mentor and model) and now i will b speaking to d unmarried ladies,i dont have any bisness wit d married ones because dey av made their decision so dey av to live with it whether dey like it or nt.to d unmarried women please look very wel because many people fall in love with d personality but will live with their partners behaviour permanently goo or bad, therefore my sisters it will be of immense benefit if u remain single if ure nt sure of a mans character than to go in and start regretin or having feelings of regrets.in addition my sisters,a woman who is single and self fulfilled living her life for god and helping others is a million times beta than an unhappy mrs who regrets internally but does not have d nerves to open up to anybody and say i regret marrying mr a,forget all d aso ebi husband and wives wear to church or party or holding hands togeda, all dat is 'make belief'.dis is where i will stop, dose unmarried ladies dat have ears and inner eyes let dem hear what d spirit is saying to d church. (d church refers to u and i)
so what are u saying in essence? That ladies should stay out of marriage because it has its own challenges.life is full of risks n challenges, dat doesn't mean we shouldn't take a step.Marriage is a beautiful thing, although it isn't always rosy.I don't regret marrying my hubby @all,that doesn't mean he is perfect

slimyem: i can have a face to face convo with anyone without getting my hands busy on either pulling my own hair or twisting the tip of my dress..
Then i use the words 'are u serious' like 20 times per day.
Even when i know you are serious,i 'd still ask 'Are you serious?'
I say that too +' It's a lie'

Romance / Re: Couple Sends Best-man To Prison Over Wedding Suit by Ifloxy(f): 9:29pm On Aug 29, 2012
ZUBY77:

Good question because the husband must have asked the wife to forget about the suit. The nagging Jezebel must have insisted that she must have the suit back and while the husband went to ladipo for his daily business, the Jezebel went to the best man's house to shout at him and get the suit back through shouting, which of course must have resulted in the fighting.

What is the big deal in leaving an 11k worth of suit for your best man?
I left Armani suit worth 179.99 Euro for my best man.
Before you tell me about how rich or poor the couple could have been,
White wedding is not by force.
Court wedding costs far less.
But of course the Jezebel must have pressured the man into what he couldnt afford and the result is to start demanding for everything used at the wedding including foil plates.
..... I think the problem isn't d suit's worth, rather it is the attitude d best man attached 2it.U let go of ur Armani suit cos ur best man acted right. And the woman has d right of confronting Chris cos it was both of them who got embarrased by d BEstMAN not just d groom. The Chris guy had to be tot some lesson by someone, probably he was fond of such st.u.pid attitude n usually goes unquestioned

He made sure NOBODY was in the car... And their was a STRANGER in the car. . U should have said nobody else, and secondly, was he ignorant of his wife's pregnancy? Why should he call his child a stranger. And how come he rolled up d glass n locked d door leaving his pregnant wife in a car dat BROKE DOWN(that means d AC wouldn't work either)

Pls,let us appreciate our own Nigerian beauty and stop being xenocentric. If u think the topic is not good enough to make d front page, why did u click on it?if she prefers tresses, what business of urs is it?she does what makes her comfortable n sexy.To those comparing her character with those of foriegn ladies, what makes u think they don't have questionable characters there? And to u critics,ur criticisms will keep pulling her up.To those comparing her with young undergraduates, remember she is a mother of four,a wife and she is not only rated for her beauty but also for her achievements. If u think she isn't good enough make ur own name.
