Liftmaster: OP, I strongly advice that you heed this wise counsel, especially since you're a woman. You need to be properly prepared before you embark o this venture. Take a trip to Ghana, stay a couple weeks to get first hand knowledge. If possible, go with someone you know to help you do a proper unbiased evaluation of things. I shouldn't have to tell you this, but be very careful about linking up with people on any website. I am not saying that those who have offered help on here are not genuine, but there have been too many horror stories/negative experiences for anyone to even consider doing this. And if you decide to go, it may be expedient for you to leave your child behind with your mom or trusted relative, then come back for him/her when you are settled. ....who will look after your child while you do all the running around to get settled? Proceed with extreme caution... God helps those who help themselves! Enough said. let's pray she listens. |

@OP, I know you'd still go anyways and join the statistics of roaming Nigerians being currently dealt with by Ghana citizenry and authorities. I just wish you'd leave your child out of that suffering that you are about to embark on. . . Make you no go Ghana with a child and come back mourning same child .Amen Sakawa boys and head hunters are on the prowl, online and offline |

beautygboel: Resident permit ke Do I really need that ? Thanks anyway, let me put my wish to check Yes you need residence permit to stay for more than 90 days in Ghana |
Travel › Re: Relocating From Nigeria To Ghana by ifyalways(f): 8:47am On Nov 18, 2019 |
beautygboel: Oh my Thats the truth and its not sweet. You will have to be exceptionally exceptionally good at your craft for any Ghanaian individual or company to hire you,not like your fellow Nigerians will hire you either. Getting residence permit without a job is almost impossible. Staying more than 90 days without residence permit is a risk .You dont want your village pipu to see your pictures splashed all over facebook and Nairaland with the tag "Nigerian ashewo caught in Zongo junctio" written over your face. Work towards getting a job by applying online from Nigeria, if you fancy going to Ghana. Cost of living in Ghana is expensive, you cannot "manage"in Ghana as a foreigner. Dont be deceived. |

Unless you are loaded, don't try it. School fees for your child will be paid in usd unless the dad is a Ghanaian Ghana is sweet when you have money otherwise it will end in tears and regret. Accra mosquitoes are not kind either. |

Perfectman91: Hello family,
Please I'm in desperate need of some cash (12,000) to balance my 2 year old daughter's school fees as the deadline for this is tomorrow.(pls note that I already made payment of 25,000 during the beginning of the term as the total payment was to be 38,000). I call on willing Nigerians to help me out in this difficult time as this period has really been tough for me due to the fact that I lost my Job recently.
0209376639 GTB
Thank you
I am willing to provide evidence to potential helpers You can't be jobless and have your 2 years old in a 38K per term school. There's nothing special with creche/Pre school. Since you and your wife cannot afford it, withdraw her and teach her the basics from home , with 3K you will get entrance to some of the good parks in Lagos so she can interact with other children. School starts when shes 3. |
