Consequences of the choices we make as adults ( if she's a single mom or Separated) or fate (if she's widowed)

Whatever is the case, she should do whatever she believes is the best for her boys. I can't approve or disprove her parental style.

Health › Re: NEW BORN BABIES! Are U A New Mum? Then Lets Discuss Babies Here!!!!! by ifyalways(f):
Mzflexydeeva:
Good day mothers in the house. I didn't know this thread existed. New mum, 1st time mum. Just four weeks ago my son came into the world bringing with him so much joy.

need advice. My baby is 4 weeks old and just a few days (3) ago i started noticing a rise in temperature. I took his temperature (armpit) 36.8. Mouth, 37.1 and the next day from the anus, 37.3. No vomiting, regular stooling and everything seems normal but the temperature. Should i be getting worked up?
Please stop taking the temperature from the Anus. The technicalities involved with that method is too delicate for a first time mom and a baby of just four weeks.

I beg of you. I have seen it go awry and nothing was detected till baby was about three years with perforated rectum. Leave the rectal thermometer for the health professionals. smiley

BTW, it's not healthy to use one thermometer for armpit, Anus or mouth as you'll definitely transfer germs to your baby from Anus to mouth. Do the conventional armpit and anything below 38° is okay.

China is turning deserts in green fields and agricultural zones, Isreal has been doing that for years ,the excuse that desert encroachment and desertification is the reason cattle rearers are taking their herds down south by the emir of kano doesn't hold water. The truth is that intellectual laziness is one of our problems. The way we go about solving our problems is so disappointing . $2 billion was spent looking for oil in the north, just think what that amount would have done in fighting desertification? Many countries have succeeded in reducing the size of their desert . Even in south Africa an individual was able to do that without government support. Saudi Arabia that is almost a desert doesn't herd cattles all over the place!! Cattle rearing is the only multi-billion business in nigeria that doesn't pay tax,has no fixed address and doesn't even pay rent . It's the only business that destroys other people source of livelihood as part of their routine. The emir also claim there in no water in the north ,the reason there is no water is because the government has not made any intellectual effort to solve the issue of water. Even if you want to rear your cattle in the south, come down and buy land and establish a cattle ranch ,it is allowed. Businesses are modernizing and cattle rearing shouldn't be left out. The north is just addicted to this mentality that everything must be given to them free. They should go and ask dangote how much he paid lagos state government for land to site his industries. Leaders in this country are just liars ,they like being deceitful with statements. I wonder why they just hate sincere progress!!! Except they want us to believe that cattle rearing is not done by private businessmen but another branch of government agency hence the need for a government provided free land!

Thanks Ify.
India is the last option bc up to 10 people i know that went to India for different types of surgeries, none lived up to 3 years.
Also, since the spinal cord is shifted i don't know if she can withstand take off and landing in an aeroplane.

Pls where is Nutase located?
Nutase's post that I co-signed below:

Nutase:
Holy Rosary may be able to handle it.
Lemme hint you on how hospitals work. They will invite a specialist to come and do the operation in there premises. Mind you she is old and sick and doesn't need the additional stress of travelling.
I won't be surprised that the same doctors you want to go and see in Enugu and Ibadan are the ones that will be invited to carry out the operation at Emekuku.
The best you can do is to inspect their facilities and be okay with what you have seen then make further enquiries about them. Ask for the doctors that will carry out the operation and you will discover they are coming from outside the state.

Please ignore all the "take her to India especially that Fortis hospital"

I don't know much about Emekuku but Nutase is correct. Ask for the name of the doctors that will handle the surgery and check out their profiles, if they are competent and specialists in their field then go ahead.

Happy New year sister, happy new year to all of us here. I have been on a tour of this estate early this year as promised. The general conditions of the land is normal. Nothing was tampered with in our structures and materials on the ground. All the fence around this land were intact. The bushes were burnt.

However, the road I was hoping will pass into this town has not happened. No work in progress along the road to Ugwuomu. I am still planning some work in this land within this dry season.
Okay.

We're keeping fingers crossed.
