Keep in mind also that you are hustling for these dates with those who are expecting admission within that same period and those who had got theirs prior.

If you’re already regretting, I will advise you to go back ASAP instead of wasting money on house rent, feeding, transportation etc, but if you choose to stay then stop complaining & put more effort to search for job. Nothing like 50:50 for people who are just arriving UAE. If you arrived Dubai prior 2017 when Nigerians were still easily employable , have held down jobs, yes 50:50 applies to you when you apply for a new job/change of job because u have the UAE experience and verifiable former employers.
For all those 2018 to date job seekers, your chances of getting even the lowest of all petty jobs is 95:5 so prepare yourself and check within you If its worth it.

If you really must go to UAE, stay I Nigeria and keep applying for jobs until you get a company willing to employ and sponsor u . And that's mostly for professionals or people with special skills.

I have read one or two posts of people already on ground who said same thing but y'all shut them up.

I left UAE a couple of days ago and i always frequent UAE for fun, atleast once every quarter and I will never encourage anyone to waste their 500K or more on this job seeking trip. They are hardly, very very very very hardly employing Nigerians.

I saw many of them at the airport begging for money to change their tkts , clear their overstay and return home. I lost count of the number I bought food and nol cards for.

Baby foods one can make from scratch = ogi baba. (Millet, crayfish w/out siyabeans) the child needs other foods too and won't drink ogi all day. If shes working and no nanny to help, where will she find time to process and prepare the ogi?

Diapers : a pack of cheapest disposable diapers is about 3K( 70 to 80 pieces inside) a piece of re-usable diapers plus insert is about 6K and she needs atleast 8 pieces and that means washing daily . If she does not have a washing machine that spins, it's not gonna work because baby needs to wear a dry diaper.

I won't go into further details. My point still is : 40K is just basic .

Airlines won't do it for first time traveller to UAE unless he's willing to drop a security deposit of about 600K

Schengen countries will ban you from ALL schengen countries for the same offence of lying when asked if you have been refused visa before.
