So because 3 or 4 Nigerians every year graduate tops from foreign universities, then Nigerians are smart? Do you know how many Isrealis, Chinese, Indians, and Koreans top American universities? They do so well that as an Asian you have to be near perfect to get into an Ivy league school whereas for Nigerians, you can perform relatively average and get into Ivy League schools since you would be compared against members of your race. Where are the inventions by Nigerians if they are so smart?
The simple truth is that Nigeria has by far the highest amount of morons in the world. Possibly fifty million or more. Average intelligence is quite low. If you think this is a lie, go into the average motor park or market or even class room, for that matter.

bilms: 3. Expense of goods and commodity
Things are more expensive in America than Nigeria. Especially for women, getting your hair done, makeup, clothes are FAR more expensive in America for something of equal value in Nigeria. In Nigeria, you will pay the equivalent of $40 to do Senegalese twists and that is even with you giving extra tip to the excellent hair stylist! DO you know the same style, and not even half as good would cost upward of $250-$300 in America? Let's not even get on the costs of fabric. There are so many skilled tailors to make custom clothing in Nigeria way better than what is obtainable in America, but you pay more in U.S. it's coz of their cost of living is commiserate with their high standard of living why do u think Nigerians will gladly go to the US to make hairs. they have Minimum wage so there services will naturally be high. |

degamemaster: If you have believed and celebrated IPOB being proscribed and tagged terrorist group but frown at unmasking jubril from sudan as fake news, you're one of the problems of Nigeria.
Buhari is dead and buried. It took Britain over three months to perfect their plastic surgery on jubril that's why he stayed so long during the medical tour and when he came back, they refused to tell Nigerians the name of Buhari's sickness.
If Nigerian gov't and Britain wants to prove themselves innocent, they should subject jubril to DNA tests with yusuf and Zara in the presence of NNAMDI KANU's preferred doctors.
Let them come out and clear the air about the news. u ipob supporters get it wrong by thinking anyone person of note like governments and foreign diplomats give a dot about Nnamdi Kanu. he is only a hero in ur ignorant minds |

Politics › Re: How Nnamdi Kanu’s Re-Emergence Will Affect Trial by ifyboy60(m): 9:19pm On Nov 13, 2018 |
gidgiddy: What I do not understand about the analysis of these so called Lawyers is that not one of them addressed the issue of why Kanu could not come to court in the first place. What they keep harping about is "If the sureties don't produce Kanu"
If Nnamdi Kanu had been killed in operation Python dance, would the sureties have been required to bring his dead body to court for trial? Of course not.
I'm no Lawyer but I know that in Law, there is something called "force majeure". That is when a Surety cannot produce a person in court due to external factors.
When the Nigerian Army illegally invaded Kanu's house, they forced Kanu to flee for his life. By doing so, they have made the job of the sureties very difficult problem is, the court don't CARE about why u can't produce him. even the Bible in the book of proverb warns us about standing surety for people. Kanu fall hands |

MartinCorridon: Used to pass there EVERY weekend 2016/17
Believe me, PMB (or Fashola maybe) would get re-elected if judged solely on the work he did on this road compared to other administrations.
There was a rumour that it was the Emir of Ilorin through his cronies that got the contract and refused to do it for decades.
The Emir was summoned to Aso Rock and when he went to the airport, he was turned back and ordered to come by road.
After the extremely bumpy ride to Abuja, PMB told him " that's the road you said you fixed, now get back to work" Work on the road was almost daily after then; weekly at least.
Its one of the most dangerous roads in Nigeria; lives are lost on a weekly basis.
This isnt the first time it would collapse. The VP went there when it did in 2017. Likely was a different segment then
PS - @ dvolt, so you too heard about the Emir angle ? I believe its a false story/rumour |
