PhenomenalMorgan: oga, many Asian countries too hate China, they see the Chinese as a bully. it hasn't help that china is building military bases and island on the sea, which puts it in direct conflict with Vietnam, Philippines, Singapore, India and Myanmar. I don't see this countries doing security conscious business with China. especially Vietnam and India. 6 Likes 1 Share |

etrange: U dey mind that one? Living in denial will never change the situation. I have met some Muslims who claim that America and Israel sponsors and traines terrorists to ruin Islam, but the same people will call for the death of apostates, stoning of adulterers, seizing of alcohol that isn't meant for them. 1 Like |

IkpuMmadu: I don't dispute the fact that the laws u quoted are correct, am telling u that nobody will enforce it, unless their interests are served. Gone are the days when countries act in foreign nations, they can only issue statements to condemn, that's all. Russians are fighting in Syria, Maduro is killing his people, Saudi Arabia killed Kashogi and the west only condemned it. If we are preparing for Biafra, it will be stupid to depend on international laws and foreign aid coz it won't materialize. Recently Netanyahu was cozing up to Buhari and seeking for a visit, the same man NK was boasting will come to his assistance militarily. It's all about interests and sentiments. |

IkpuMmadu: u Biafra supporters are too emotional to reason logically. Always thinking things will go the way u wish. In order to wage war, nations must assess the probability of victory. As Sun Tzu said, the war is the vital road to victory or ruin and you must know yourself and know your enemy before waging war. U guys should access the probability that things will go in ur favor and stop wishful thinking. |

IkpuMmadu: the reason they stepped into the Suez canal issue was simply because there own shipping lines were massively affected and the British themselves built it. Secondly it was blocking Israel a key western ally and one who weighs significant soft power over the west. Most westerners know nothing about Biafra, many even careless about Nigeria sef. |
Politics / Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by ifyboy60(m): 3:43pm On Jun 01, 2019 |
IkpuMmadu: I get ur point, but do u think Nigerian govt will adhere to that? even Jewish shipping don't go close to international waters near Iran, they will site security reasons as excuse and nobody will do Jack. gone are the days when the UN and foreign powers interfere in people's matters, these days, they will only issue statements. 1 Like |
Politics / Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by ifyboy60(m): 4:29am On Jun 01, 2019 |
IkpuMmadu: Not at all, there is a difference between international water laws and local waters, that is a local water body. Iran even threatens to close the strait of tiran from time to time. during the yom kippur war, the Arabs close the strait of tiran, Suez canal coz its not in the open ocean. we should stop being so emotional and use our heads, we are in Africa, u don't expect Nigeria to be okay with Biafra after a breakup, even Ethiopia and Eritrea are technically still at war, same with Sudan and South Sudan. 2 Likes |

aremuforlife: Before 1948 Jews and Arabs were living in a region under the ottoman empire called Palestine and later under the British mandate. After ww2 more jews migrated to join them, causing more rancour. the land was divided by the UN and a separate country was given to the Arabs but they rejected it and choose war. They are still at war. |

Unbiased1: how many large farms are in Lagos? how easy is it for the average man to get land in Lagos? compare that to nearby ogun. Research and weapon fabrication, lol no wonder Achebe said we igbos exaggerate a lot. When last did uk produce weapons? oga read more and spend less time on NK. the UK is among worlds largest weapons manufacturers. ndigbo have wealthy people who will finance NK war? only gullible poor people follow NK. No reasonable person will contribute a kobo to NK war effort. NK can only flatter to deceive |

Obi1kenobi: u are trying too hard to explain to people who have refused to understand. Igbo land is less than 40 thousand sqr kms, how on earth can that take 30million people. SS have made it clear that they don't buy into this Biafra narrative but they still won't listen. The best we can hope for is for a more autonomous SE. coz I don't see us beating the rest of Nigeria with British support in war. the hoolabaloo of NK's Israel and Trump support is a fool's dream. 1 Like |

solmusdesigns: U quote rubbish to back up ur bigoted mind Japan was fighting a samurai warfare, they refused to surrender even when defeated. carried out kamikaze attacks, used captured US soldiers as lab rats for experiments. turned Korean girls to war prostitutes, killed millions of Chinese civilians and kids, burying many alive. even till today there is still bad blood between Japan and Korea, China, Philippines. Stop reading from malams, get a good history book and Educate ur self. Even Japanese people admit that the nuclear bombs were merciful enough. 1 Like |
