@ Hero

I know where you got that Abia pictures from. It was exactly the same picture from this Biafra topic website.

http://messageboard.biafranigeriaworld.com/ultimatebb.cgi/ubb/get_topic/f/1/t/002029/p/8.html

This website is where you got that picture from, right? Don't lie. Well that was in 2006 so maybe it's changed.

Anambra in 2006 looked lik that but a little bit better but according to my mom(who went there this year) said Anambra has changed and it looked different so maybe Abia has changed also/

Ethiopian money is higher than Nigerian Naira. Is that country living a better life than the poorest person in Nigeria?
Use you brain for once why don't you.

Look @ the person judging us, LMFAO. African-Americans please take care of your community before giving ANYONE an advice.
Hell if we follow AA's ways we still going to be poor. Might as well shoot ourselves while we at it.
Richest person in African-American community is a rapper or a sports player or in some kind of entertainment.

The richest person in Nigeria is a businessman and his also the richest black man alive.
Do you think he needs an advice from an AA?

Oh lady take a chill pill why don't you.
Men, your sounding like one of those xenophobic SA.
African-American this, African-American that.

Is Nigeria suppose to give criminals right? Hell this a contient/country that sold off the criminals in the past and most criminals outside of Nigeria, our government do not want them, neither do Nigerians. Abi, Criminals have right? They have right when they were born. They have right when they weren't criminals. We are not giving those people rights. We don't think like AA's. Go get Al-sharpton to yell at our government for refusing to give criminals right.

And wow, Child witches. It's funny how Akwa-ibom is now instantly the whole Nigeria. Akwa-ibom doesn't even count as half of Niger-delta let alone the whole Nigeria.
And as you can see from the post everywhere in this website. None of us, even those living in Nigeria didn't even know about this, that's new to us. I'm guessing the American that ate human beings(yea i know he was white) but i guess the whole America knew about that man right?

Corruption. Powerful thing. Your government is corrupt towards you African-Americans. Go talk to them about their corruption on ya'll. Last time i checked Nigeria is fighting corruption, right now. Aren't we?

Safety net for everyone. umm, okay, quick question when was the last time an African-American did anything for anyone other than themselves?

There isn't shit in Nigeria except disease and death?
Take a look at the closet ghetto you can find? Wonder what's in it. LMFAO.

And Black Americans not having a mass genocide is a laughing matter.
Last time i checked, Nigeria mass genocide was in 60's. So unless we live in the 60's right now, Nigeria doesn't have a mass genocide. Africa does but alot of African country do not.
And take a look at the black-on -black crime in America; the number is increasing. 90% of death in Black America is through a black-on-black crime. I suppose those are white folks dressed as blacks killing each other right?

At least Africans know our faults and we see. Take a look at your typical AA backyard before you come here and judge others.

And about AA ruling the world. okay
1.) America IS NOT the world.
2.) Obama is half AFRICAN and half WHITE, hence his biracial or to put in easier terms, his black side came from AFRICA (straight from there not through slavery) hence Obama is more in the section of Africans born in America.
better terms will be an AA woman is going to be the wife of a strong black man.

CrimeHelen Ukpabio. A Heartless Evil Woman by Ifygurl(op): 12:51pm On Nov 16, 2008
I just recently watched this child witches stuff in youtube.
I kept crying throughout the whole video.
N-way i researched about this Helen Ukpabio,  this woman is heartless ohh.
N-way what do you think of her?

When i researched her name i learnt that Nigerian Video Film And Censors Board (NVFCB) refuses to publish her movies since 2004.  Ever since that heartless woman started publishing her movies illegally without anyone knowing.  The movie that started that child-witches propaganda in Akwa-ibom was an illegal movie that NVFCB didn't even approve. I actually read that NVFCB told her, her movies will send out the wrong message
This woman is heartless;  there's a reason NVFCB refuse to publish her movies since 2004. She's been in court more than 4 times for publishing illegal movies.  She's been in court over and over again because of that and the NVFCB had told her to cut out some scenes from her movies, that her movie will send the wrong message. What a heartless woman.
NVFCB sure predicted the future with that one.  cry  cry Who would have known some people take what they see in movies so seriously that they will hurt others. And to make matter worse, an evil woman started using that paranoia to make money. I feel sorry for Niger-deltans, poverty sure have bleeped up their mind.  May lord help them. cry

That heartless woman needs to go to Court again; this time let her be in trail for being responsible for the killing and abuse of those young children.  Men this is a woman that deserve the death penalty in Nigeria.  I wish i know where this woman lives so i can go straight to her home and beat some sense into her.  angry

Do anyone know how to contact any kind of politician in Akwa-ibom or any Nigerian politician.  Do anyone know how to contact Yaradua himself?  We need to stop this shit, even if we have to drag out all those evil priest and make them confuse what they did and how wrong they were.  I cannot believe this priest actually killed a 110 kids before he found that disgusting "so called" remedy for witches.  419 dey everywhere and it seems they starting to attack innocent children just for money.

Nigerian students tell South Africans to leave
May 31st, 2008 - 12:18 am ICT by admin -
By Fakir Hassen

Johannesburg, May 30 (IANS) All South Africans must get out of Nigeria, students there have demanded, charging South Africans with “genocide” on Nigerians, the Afrikaans daily Beeld reported here. This came in the wake of the xenophobic violence in which South Africans attacked migrants from other African countries, leaving 56 dead and thousands homeless or returning to their home countries, in a humanitarian crisis that is now being attended to by authorities.

The two-week long violence was sparked by claims that the foreigners were taking up jobs and housing intended for locals.

The Nigerian students have charged South Africans of “genocide” on Nigerians, and have demanded that all South African businesses, the South African High Commission and all others from that country leave immediately.

The students also called for the South African soccer squad, nicknamed Bafana Bafana, and which arrived in Nigeria on Friday, to return home. Bafana Bafana are scheduled to play in a crucial game against Nigeria as the nations on the continent vie for a place in the FIFA World Cup in 2010.

Ironically, the World Cup is to be hosted for the first time on the African continent by South Africa. The Nigerian demands include that the World Cup also be taken away from South Africa.

Beeld reported that all these demands were contained in a pamphlet distributed in the Nigerian capital of Abuja and sent to the South African High Commission there.

Security at the mission there and offices in Lagos was tightened ahead of expected marches there as an official who asked not to be named told Beeld “our security is no longer guaranteed”.

Diplomats blamed the media for fanning emotions already running high by reporting that dozens of Nigerians were being killed by South Africans, even though officials confirmed that there had been no Nigerian casualty in the violence.

The incident is a severe embarrassment for the Nigerian government, as President Umaru Yar’Adua is due to start a South African visit on Tuesday.

Both sides moved fast to ease tensions after reports that the Nigerian Federal Government said on Tuesday that South Africa should pay compensation to Nigerians who lost their homes and businesses in the violence.

South African Foreign Affairs Ministry spokesman Ronnie Mamoepa said: “The government wishes to place it on record that no such formal request has been officially made by the Nigerian authorities. Furthermore, we would like to draw attention to the fact that both South Africa and the Federal Republic of Nigeria enjoy fraternal diplomatic relations which enables discussion of issues of mutual interest and concern between the two countries through existing bilateral mechanisms.”

The threats to South Africans in Nigeria come after many South African workers and tourists in neighbouring Mozambique fled back home in the wake of similar threats of retaliation by locals there, although nothing resulted from this.

I saw this in topix website.  According to the website, Nigerian students told South African students to leave Nigeria.
I wanted to know if it's true or not since Afrikaans are the ones who reported it and they seem to hate Black South Africans.  So i wanted to be sure.
Somehow the comments under the website ended up becomin a racist fights between blacks and white.  So i redirected this news to this webiste.
Is it true?  What do you think about it?

Here's a better website talking about what happened.
Nigeria student demanded all South African imigrants from students to businessman and even footballers to leave Nigeria immediately.

@Cayon

I do not know, but I wouldn't generalize all African Americans. What is Nigeria's public school system like? How do parents prepare Nigerians for school and college? Maybe that has something to do with it.
Nigeria's public school SUCKS. Trust me, it's better if you home-school your kid than send them to public school in Nigeria but some of the kids in the public schools do get higher grades than some kids that went to private school so maybe it's not so bad. The best schools in Nigeria would be Private, boarding and international schools. Parents in Nigeria takes educationl seriously; most parents will do anything to send their kids to school. I know for my parents, if i get anything below B, that grade will be labeled as a failing grade. C is a failing grade in my house. When i was a little girl in Nigeria, my aunt and parents will promise to buy me anything i want as long as i'm 1st in my class (In Nigeria, it's either your 1st, 2nd, 3rd,etc). When they promise to buy me gifts, i do great. That's how my parents motivated me.

PoliticsRe: Ekiti Govt Accused Of Feeding Kids With 'Juju Cutlery' by Ifygurl: 6:37am On Nov 13, 2008
RichyBlacK:
Yes

Wrong! God did that, not man. The man was only used as a "vessel" to achieve God's divine intervention. Furthermore, do not compare juju fraud to God Almighty!

Recall, when Moses claimed he performed the miracle of striking the rock and water flowing out, God punished him. As a Christian, I'm sure you remember the punishment. God, not man, performs ALL miracles! Man can only be used as a "vessel".

No man can rise from the dead by his own accord. God Almighty did that, not man. Again, you're bringing in Baba God (powerful force of nature; omnipotent being; all-powerful; incomparable to anything - mortal or immortal; ancient; ageless; omniscient; all-knowing) into a discussion about the man-made fraud called juju.

Please do not compare the Almighty to the fraud of juju! I'm wondering where you're going with this.

I'm telling you that ALL juju claims of violating the natural laws of the universe (as laid down by Baba God Himself) are false! I never said every religion is false. I don't like mixing religion with fraud!

My English friends are Christians, however, they do not believe that some disheveled hermit in Okitipupa can turn the corpse of a virgin into crisp pound sterling notes. Are you saying that because they refuse to believe such fraudulent claims then they are not Christians?

Science is not destroying the world. Man, the being that God gave dominion over this earth, can use science to destroy the world (plus all the juju shrines inside it). Also, man can use science to save the world. The choice of men will decide man's fate! So, what's your point?

That's your cup of tea. I'm a gentleman and won't threaten anybody, however, I know that the juju hype is all based on fraud.

I have addressed all your questions, at least I hope so.

Now, can you answer a few of mine?

How come MOPOL invaded Okija Shrine, raided the place, arrested the priest after beating the idiot with koboko, arrested his "servants", handcuffed all of them hoodlums, slapped them inside a Black Maria, drove them to the station and locked them up? Where was the juju hiding when MOPOL boys were pummeling the priest and the rest of the criminals? Why didn't the priest just shout "Ogidigbo Kabambaza Ogidigbo" (or some gibberish) so all the MOPOL boys would have just disappeared gbam? Why didn't the juju priest clap his hands and just escape from police detention fiam?

I've been asking these questions and none of the many juju believers on Nairaland, including you, have come up with any explanation as to why MOPOL keep bashing the heads of these hooligans disguising themselves as priests. Maybe MOPOL they use juju grin.
That's just stupid.  If you know the history of Voodoo/Juju, you'll know THEY ALSO BELIEVE THAT A GREATER BEING DOES ALL THE SHIT, just like you believe God Almighty (Greater being) does all that.
Don't contradict yourself especially when you use science.

If you going to question Juju with science.  Honey then you should know science started from people that was questioning the bible.

Okay explain.  The Big Bang is what scientist believes how universe was created.
God created universe in 7 days  is the ideology churches used to explain how the universe was created.

Say one thing and then contradict yourself in another comment.

A man CAN NEVER rise from the dead (whether almighty god did it or not).
Duhh,  in Voodoo, African ancestors claimed they saw juju priest rise a man from the dead.

Do you even know anything about Juju(I mean the real history before Africans/europeans bleeped the image up)

History of Juju:
It was a religion africans had before Islam, Christianity or any other thing.
They believed an Almighty Being was the main gods of the land and other gods were incarnations of the main god.
That's why in igbo Chukwu is also used as God.
Chukwu in the past represented that almighty being.
Saying do not compare Voodoo to almight God. Honey, why did you think many Igbo people instantly converted to christanity.  I mean this was a tribe that ran away from other foreign religion except christianity .
Reason behind it is  Voodoo beliefs (the real thing) were similar to Christianity beliefs. That's why many igbos were easily turned to christians.
They believed in a supreme God and other gods below that supreme God.
Just like in Christianity they believe their's God, then his Son(Jesus) and the Holy spirit.

And before you call something a myth (Juju is a religion). All the monotheistic faith is what we call (Voodoo and Juju).  It's like claiming Islam is a myth just because many people hates that religion.   And by the way, that same evil spirits are your ancestors cause polytheistic faith believes that their ancestors is the holy spirit that watches over them.
Pick up a book and read the history of Voodoo/Juju is actually a good read.

And next time, don't contradict yourself.

I'm Catholic myself and also a biology major.  Half of what's written in the bible can be easily counteract by science.  Just the truth.
Just like i take my religion seriously is the same way i take polytheistic faith seriously.

CultureRe: Africans Abroad Using Juju To Catch Oyinbo For Marriage by Ifygurl: 5:45am On Nov 13, 2008
Angolobabe:
Juju, voodoo does exist yes but using it to catch Oyinbo abroad is not correct because abroad there are alot of oyinbo and people have chooses while in nigeria oyinbo is less and girls fight over it and some use juju to achieve there heart desire.

if u see any nigerian girl married to oyinbo for a long time and lives in naija she is definately using some juju on him to keep him or else another woman will take him away from her, sure some of them will never tell u they use it why some are very open with it and they don't care what people think and there oyinbo husbands or partner don't believe in Juju so they have no idea weither there wife or girlfriend are using it on them.

i was very shocked when i visited nigeria this year and heard what all my interracial girlfriends told me about girls competing with juju and who´s juju is more powerful wins a rich oyinbo and how they use it to make some girls mad just to snach there oyinbo boyfriend or husband from them shocked

Abroad some people not just girls use juju to achieve papers, marriage, money etc from oyinbo and there mama they prepare em for them especially bini girls.

some people are just naturally lucky in meeting men and keeping a good relationship with oyinbo men while some don't and they go for what works best for them which is juju.

my younger sister told me about a bini girl she knows that uses juju on her husband for papers and money ,her husband is only 30 years old and she is 33 years old ,he paid off the girls madam fees and this girls openly told my sister that she renews it every 3 months shocked so yes it does exist but more in africa than abroad and i don't judge anyone that uses it because its non of my business.
Wetin you dey talk about?  Which kind Yeye thing be this?  Do you actually think in Nigeria, girls are fighting over each other for oyinbo? shocked shocked shocked  My sister, na lie.
I've never even see that happen in my life inculding when i lived in Naija. lipsrsealed  Naija girls don't even fight over eachother for Naija boys and you actually think dey fight over each other for Oyinbo? huh
Not that many naija girls are married to oyinbo's both in naija and aboard.  Never heard that kind of stuff happens but if you believe am.  Na u'r business. grin
