When Fulani attacks, the motive is more than just revenge or punitive. It is to tell their "enemies" the cost of further future attack. In thier mind, that will prevent future attack on them. Are we justifying the killings now? No matter the side involved, taking a human life is a no no. Talking about loses, don’t forget these farmers too depends on their farm produce for survival and these cattles destroy all of that. Why can’t they ranch? If they can invest millions in buying arms and ammunition, same or less can be invested in buying lands for ranch purposes rather than destroy farm lands. I am TOTALLY against taking of lives, be in Christains, Muslims, fulanis, or who ever. Human life is sacred.

Bro, no matter the number of cows stolen, na does not justify taking a human life and reprisals on innocent civilians from both sides. Meanwhile, do you have an idea of what 300 cows is? How could the villagers have stolen all those cows at once? Where were the cows kept? If the theft was reported to security agents, what was done to track and arrest the perpetrators? Or did the entire village participate in the stealing and thereafter engage in a cow eating feast? Plenty of questions without answers, but stealing of 300 cows in one operation is no child’s play, it’s not 300 sticks of match sticks.
