Hi all. @Omogemi and itsmelex. I don't have a first hand experience on Nta and Umafor. But its always associated with babies being fussy, restless, feverish, inadequate weight gain and weight loss. Mostly, de diagnosis is made by de herbalist.

I am a proud mother of 11months old handsome identical twin boys. Awww, de attention u get from pple, makes me shy away from going out with them. Everybody wants to carry them, twins draw unnecessary attention to u. So many ladies giving u gifts and wishing to beget twins too. Lol, one day hubby, was like beef up de security around dis guys to avoid kidnapp. Though, caring for dem no easy, but they are really special i believe.

Nta and umafor are real. And am meant to understand that its not treated in de hospital, mmhh der is no orthodox medicine for it. So look for a good herbalist to first take a look at ur baby to be sure he has it. It treatment takes like one week. Herbs are not harmful, good and genuie ones.take card.

I have 14 month old baby since her birth she does not add weight that much but very very active and eats well, she started crawing @ Her 5th month and started walking @ her 9th month now people were like she has nta and akpafor (in igbo language) dont kn whelther it has English name that why she is not getting fat and this is normally treated with herbs, i'm scared of giving my baby herbs. itsmelex: ^^^ When did you intend to stop nursing her? I gues at 1yr right? If I were in you shoes, I'll continue giving the Isomil(she still takes that right?) until she is one then the peak 123, its jst less than a month.
However, If you still despirately want her to bossom feed,then maybe you try when she is drousy/feeling sleepy (this may not be the best as she may be wanting to nurse anytim she wantsvto sleep). In all, I wont be bothered at 11+.***WISHING I can stop by 10months!lol***

Hi all, pls i need ur suggestions. One of My 11+ months twins suddenly refused to nurse/breast feed.. My fear is they are yet to walk unaided, though they walk around holding onto stuff, will it interfer with his developmental process? Pls what do i do? Any i'm about changing der milk from Isomil to Peak 123. Tanx.

Alenkakent: My 11 day old baby just vomitted yellowish fluid some mins after feeding(on breast),she was diagnosed to have jaundice on her 5th day and we've been using yellow bulb and bathing her with water(soaked wth pawpaw),she has a big stomach(looks lyk indigestion). Could the yellowish vomit be as a result of removin d excess bilirubin in her? What can be done abt the stomach? We have clinic visit by monday but ♠ can't just do nothin till then.

One more thing came up today when we went for immunizatn, we decided to see d doctor and complain of d baby's unclear eyeballs and we were told she has jaundice. A nurse then told me that the baby will be admitted. ♠ don't want that at @ all so we came home, what can we use to cure d jaundice?

What then do we give to a child that has cough. Am battling with one now, even hospital gives cough syrup to babies.

blank: Please throw away any cough syrup or expoctorant you have. It causes future problems for the child. I am battling with asthma like symptoms in my toddler cos of all the expectorants he has taken. In fact, i have stopped all multivite and stuff. Just Ventolin for now.

I also use coconut oil to seal in moisture. Its just that my skin never agrees with any harsh products esp medicated and antiseptic soaps, but i wasn't expecting de same reaction with dudu osun since its more of a natural content.

ferhyntorlah: That's what I use and it agrees with my skin. Even if it dries it out, I replenish by using natural oil to seal in moisture on my body since I don't wipe the water completely off my body.

Abeg, park wella. Der is no short cut to weight loss, is either u do de right thing by eating healthy and exercising or u forget it. Did u take any drugs to gain de weight? De drugs recommendation u re asking for, do u know its side effect. Babe, keep rocking ur size 14 till u get time for weight loss, madam short cut.

good advise u ve been given adhere to them. Nothing good comes cheap. I also have de same target with u, 20kg off. Embark on a fruit and vegetable diet plus exercise. Do that for 2wks, no cheating, u will surely drop some weight plus better benefits at having detoxified ur system. Take care and wish me luck. Lookin forward to meeting u at de lepa-land lol

When d coconut oil was brought I realized dat its colour looks like groundnt oil nd it actually has dat coconut smell. I was told dat is hw coconut oil is. But d one I made is whitish/milky in colour. Could it be dat I didn't get mine right or something? Cos am already using it on M̶̲̥̅γ̲̣̣̥ baby.

Mum's in da house, i great ooo. I gave birth to a set of twin boys july last yr, since then i've murdered sleep. These two wan kuku turn night watch men%-). Abeg, how do i get them to sleep thru de night. They will be 9 moths in a week plus. But they wake up like 2 or 3 times to suck each. De lack of sleep is really affecting me. Lets me have ur time tested contribution.

Good advice from Brand_new. @op stay clear of cold drinks and water. Always drink hot water, as hot as possible. Eat more of hot food like tea, soup, oats etc. Take lots of vit. C. I hope this helps. Speedy recovery

Steam ur hand then use a good exfoliating scrub. Wash it off with warm water, slather on a good mosturiser, oil, shea butter or good old vaseline. Put on a cotton gloves and leave overnight. Voila, to a baby soft palms. U can try same to ur feet. Hope it helps.

Thanks for demystifying this coconut oil ish. I just made mine, kudos to u. Let me add my little observation. Once it settles, put it in de freezer for like 30mins. This will make de whitish stuff coagulates and will be pretty easy to scoop out. Pheww

Babies are human, so they differ. I tried EBF for my baby without water, but it didn't work for us. He was hiccupping non stop. We then called on his ped. Who advised that i introduce water. That since we live in de tropics aand also owing to his body make up, that he is loosing lots of water from urine and sweat. I introduced water, and everything became normal. So what worked for baby A might not work for baby B.

Perhaps, when we stop being judgemental, that will make pple to be more open. De fear of being looked down on makes pple to tell lies even at their own risk.
