No actually france spends about 66 billions on its army, and america spends about 800 billion on its army.
Whilr the UK spends 46 billion on its armed forces. What Nigeria desperately need is to employ its science graduates in the developpment of our own technologie. We need to learn how to copy and improve the weapons we have been buying abroad so that we will have time to develop our own technologie. We need to spend at list 70 billion on our armed forces, namely the air force and the navy, but these spendings should only be internal: We have verry qualified people who can build hightech fighter jets and war ships, these our people are doing the job in western states.
We need to offer good salaries to our science graduates so that they will stay in Nigeria and developp our armed forces and therefor our independence. Peace

Very true. Also, do you mean 800 billion per year? We need to invest internally very true. Build our own technolgies instead of going to foreigners.

Those Ugandan students need to start small companies that product cars parts. This can be sent to many countries around the world and help their economy. This will bring export revenue.

You are not completely wrong, but Nigeria has allways been a much stronger country than Libya, at least millitarily.
The Nigerian population is above 160 million, it's army is full with secrets is verry independent from the west and Nigeria is the leading countrie of west Africa. So Nato can not even dream of bombing Nigeria without the consent of our government. Don't mess with Nigeria !!!!!

America, Britain and France sepdn over a trillion dollars on their army for a reason. They keep countries in their place. Do we een make our own weapons, planes, tanks? Or do we import them from the US. The US would not give Nigeria any of hteir best equipment, only their old one. What can Nigeria do against unmanned drones?

The war in Congo, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Kenya, Angola, etc. Why do we always fight each other? Tribalism always kills us. Why can't we unite against a common enemy. We are too busy killing each other based on religion or ethnicity. Divide and conquer, do you see this? We have been divided and conquered for 500 years and we are still fighting each other. WHY Do our people not know our own history?? We are too busy killing each other and cutting off each others hands instead of going against the people who see us as subhumans and want us eliminated.

They took our history and took it as theirs. Claim our philosophies and mathematics theories and take it as theirs. We worship their gods under a wrong image. So we are subconsciously worshipping them, this is why you don't see too many Africans killing whites, we love the people who enslaved us. They went to Kingdoms like Benin and destroyed the city, destroyed the books and art, stole precious art, etc. And we continue to worship them and we see each other and ugly. We hate each other too much.

Even Africans in the Diaspora (Jamaicans, Haitians, African-Americans, Afro Brazilians, etc) we must unite with them too. They are in the same boat as we are.

Let's love each other, let's unite. Hausa, Yoruba, Aashanti, Bofan, Shonti, Igbo, Muslim, Christian, Traditionalist, etc. We must unite under one common goals.

This is great news. They need to do this all around Nigeria so we can refine our oil then export finished products. This is beter for the economy htan importing finished goods.

Nigeria is trying to diversify but Boko Haram is setting us back. Investors are not coming. All we need is power and roads and the businesses can do everything on their own. I hearda gu who imports diesel gave goodluck a lot of money to keep the system going. But all Nigerians nee is POWER, ROADS, EDUCATION, and HEALTHCARE the Nigerian people will do the rest. But also, Libya only has 6 million people where as Nigeria has 165 million. Lagos alone have like 20 million people so it would be harder to manage in Nigeria. But I don't really beleive democracy works eerywhere. In Libya what he did worked for htem. Most of our leaders steal eevrything. If one good person controlled eevrything then it would be better.

Angola is one of the fastest growing economy in the world but still many Angolans do not have jobs and President Eduardo dos Santos decides to go and invest in Portuguese companies creating more jobs for them instead. Why doesn't he invest in companies in Angola? Create jobs and empower local Angolan companies. When he does that then these Angolan companies can go and invest anywhere in Africa and create more jobs for Africans.

Because they have a slave mentality. No matter how low his own people are, he will always help his former master. The majority of our leaders are slaves. Besides Gaddaffi, Mugabe, and I think Gbagbo (I need to do more research). But if Santos does too much for his people then he would probably die.

Nobody asked how? Now the signs are palpable. Who are the Boko Harams? Who are the gunmen? Who are the suicide bombers? Are they Nigerians? Why are they targeting mainly southerners, Christians and Churches? American predictions have always come to pass because they always make it to come to pass. Who and who are these Boko Haram? Where are they from? How come Nigerians suddenly became suicide bombers?

These are very pertinent questions, which nobody has cared to ask. Do you know that members of al-qeada whom the American Government claims to be fighting against were among the rebels that the same America paid handsomely to oust and kill Gaddafi? After the suicide bombing of the UN building in Abuja, Hafiz Ringim, the police IG told the world that the sponsors of Boko Haram have been identified and that Jonathan himself will soon make their names public. But more bombings and numerous deaths have been recorded since then and not even a 'half' name has been mentioned. So laughable! Why is it taking eternity to tell Nigerians the persons sponsoring their killings? Ponder! Reflect! America has no permanent friends, no permanent enemies. Only permanent interests.
