Alleged first footage of the Admiral Makarov on fire as it sinks appears. Remember that Ukraine were also the first to announce the Neptune missile strike on the Moskva before Russia denied and kept denying until the vessel sunk. This time again, Ukraine was the first to report that they hit the Admiral Makarov with Neptune missiles and that it was on fire

Update: Reports have it that the ship has sunk as confirmed by a Pro-Russian witness in Crimea

Russia’s Admiral Makarov warship has been hit by Ukrainian missiles and burst into flames, according to Ukrainian officials. The frigate would be Russia’s latest naval loss in a troubled campaign, coming after reports that US intelligence helped Ukraine locate and sink the Russian warship Moskva weeks ago. It was said to have been sailing close to Snake Island in the Black Sea south of Odesa. Ukrainian presidential adviser Anton Gerashchenko reported on his Telegram page that Admiral Makarov was hit by a Ukrainian “Neptune” anti-ship missile. He cited Russian sources. Russian navy ships stationed in Crimea were sent to help Admiral Makarov, he said. Dumskaya, a Ukrainian-state newssite, said Russian forces had sent helicopters to rescue the crew of the ship, said to be 180-strong. Admiral Makarov is a modern frigate loaded with guided missiles, according to the World Directory of Modern Warships. If lost, Russia’s frigate fleet will be down to 10. The Russian Ministry of Defence has not commented on the reports. Russia last month lost its Black Sea flagship Moskva in a Ukrainian cruise missile attack. On Thursday, a US official said Washington helped Ukraine to locate the warship. Britain’s Ministry of Defence (MoD) said there were around 20 Russian Navy vessels in the Black Sea after the sinking of Moskva. Though Russia was unable to replace Moskva as the Bosporus strait was closed to military ships, the Black Sea fleet retained the ability to strike Ukrainian targets, the MoD said. It was unclear what effect the sinking of Admiral Makarov would have on Russian operations in the Black Sea. Russia has blockaded Ukrainian ports on the sea’s coast to stop exports throughout the war. Since Moscow launched what it calls a “special military operation” in late February, Ukraine has been forced to export grain by train over is western border or from its small Danube river ports rather than by sea. The UN said on Friday that nearly 25 million tonnes of grain were stuck in Ukraine due to the war, driving global food prices to a record high last month. The father of a dead conscript who was a cook on the sunken Moskva cruiser received an official answer about his son's fate from the Russian authorities after running from pillar to post trying to find out what happened to him since nobody had heard from him. As it turns out, the Russian authorities replied him officially with lies that 1) The Moskva did not enter the territorial waters of Ukraine and was not involved in any military operation on the Black Sea (We all know the Moskva was the flagship for Russia in the siege against Ukraine from the black sea territorial Waters of Ukraine) 2) That during the "emergency incident" that happened to the vessel the sailor suddenly went missing on the high seas. (Even though he is dead they chose to declare his whereabouts Unknown) According to Russian law when a soldier is not involved in a military operation and is considered missing or whereabouts unknown and not dead there will be no financial compensation for the family because he "was not" in a military operation and is missing in "an accident". In essence this is part of the massive cover up the Russian military is ensuring they carry out with the families of the Soldiers who invaded Ukraine. Many deaths are not reported to their families and so much cover ups everywhere because they never want to tell them the truth so they can keep the brainwash of their citizens going. Attached is the military document from the Russian authorities which contains the response to the father of the dead cook from the Moskva and the translation of the document from Russian to English. Russian authorities appear to be able to go to any length to lie and brainwash their citizens in their attempt to keep the truth away from them. Mynd44 Lalasticlala Seun

rottennaija:Are you confused? Kadyrov? Who has ever announced Kadyrov as dead? |
Chechen troops in Ukraine loyal to Ramzan Kadyrov have claimed a reputation for being the most brutal in Putin’s war, but a new report says they’re actually suffering major losses and going to great lengths to cover them up. According to an investigation by Russia’s independent news outlet IStories, the official figure of 13 Chechen soldiers killed in Ukraine is a major undercount; a source in the Chechen Health Ministry tells the outlet the true death toll of the so-called Kadyrovtsy at least matches that of the Dagestani troops killed in Ukraine, which totals 123. A source involved in sending the bodies of Chechen fighters back home told IStories the Chechen battalions are incurring injuries and deaths every single day. One would never know that from looking at the social media chronicles of Kadyrov, who has sought to cultivate an image of Chechen troops as both fearsome fighters and compassionate rescuers, with images and videos shared to Telegram and the social networking site VK that often seem blatantly staged, showing troops being greeted with open arms by elderly villagers and firing weapons at invisible targets. Kadyrov’s troops have also been accused of some of the most heinous war crimes in Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, with many survivors of the Bucha massacre identifying the soldiers who indiscriminately murdered and tortured civilians as members of Chechen battalions. But the PR campaign by Kadyrov has at times backfired in spectacular fashion, such as when the strongman leader appeared in a video in mid-March purportedly being briefed by his men in a basement in the Kyiv region, only for Ukrainian journalists to use phone data to prove that he was actually in Belarus, followed by even the Kremlin and a source in the Chechen government confirming he was not, in fact, in Kyiv. Or the now notorious photo of Kadyrov supposedly on his knees praying in Ukraine—in front of a gas station owned by a company with no presence in the country. Ukraine’s Security Service said at the time that the “clown and coward” Kadyrov was just trying to scare Ukrainian troops by suggesting he had come to join the war. Behind the scenes, Kadyrov’s image campaign is said to have masked his own dysfunction, such as when he reportedly threw a hissyfit over Russia’s decision to retreat from Kyiv. When Russia’s Defense Ministry decided mid-March to pull troops back from the region after an unsuccessful bid to seize the capital, Kadyrov lashed out, fuming that his men were too prestigious to be moved to Mariupol, according to IStories. He is said to have butted heads with both the leadership of Russia’s Defense Ministry and the National Guard, getting back at them by ordering his men return to Chechnya to get some “rest,” sources told the news outlet. And in his latest attempt to flaunt Chechen military prowess on social media, Kadyrov proudly declared Thursday that his men had “liberated” the village of Svetlichnoye in the Luhansk region—a village that had already been under the control of Russian proxies in the Luhansk People’s Republic since 2014. https://news.yahoo.com/chechen-leader-brutal-fighters-getting-152246620.html?soc_src=social-sh&soc_trk=tw&tsrc=twtr

oldienavie:Come let me hold your hand throughout the 4hr trip and help you with your phobia for Nigerian roads. What sort of a man are you though? You are scared of Nigerian roads and your girl's area due to the rate of kidnappings and stuff yet you came back from a certain "abroad" Why not engage the services of security personnel to accompany on the journey as well as ensuring the driver drives within a respectable speed. You do not have to drive fast neither do you have to drive slow. Even if you choose to drive at 50km/hr for a 4hr journey you would get to your destination same day with full security personnel accompaniment to take your fears. I doubt this is about a certain phobia alone. |
