Can you not see no one cares about the shout for Biafra? Why?

Because they know how to deal with Igbos. They are not united and most of the men love money more than their children and mothers.

Most Ipob members are jobless imbec1les that are hopeless and have no future. A fifty naira distribution at these protests will stop it immediately

Igbos cannot lead Nigeria in another 100 years and Nigeria will remain one.

The UN is not in favour of breaking of countries anymore, go and check their policy reports. They are encouraging globalisation and less borders between nations.

No Superpower will support Biafra, apart from benefiting from status quo, they wont want the humanitarian catastrophe that will occur if a war breaks out.
The world has changed but the fundamentals of Biafra has not

It was a reality check for me because I discovered that Igbos were having a good time under Good luck government, but became embittered when Yorubas begins to enjoy similar benefits under Buhari.
Fashola alone had 3 ministerial potofolios and Igbos are wailing seriously about it.
What is good for the goose should be equally good for the gander.
Or what do you think?
How exactly were Igbos having good time under GEJ?
The highest post we occupied under GEJ was the Deputy Senate position.

We even occupied more strategic post under OBJ than under GEJ.
I mean OBJ built the Owerri-Onitsha express road. GEJ built no single federal road in SE.

We were just used to oppressors and saw GEJ non antagonism towards us as a breath of fresh air and we saw no need to antagonize him.
But Yoruba a people who were used to getting lion share of things in the South, found GEJ equality style as oppression, since it meant they had to give up on some of the extra benefits.

You are too emotional bro. Thank God you don't stand in any position to make decision for Igbos. One thing I noticed about IPOB is anytime Igbos are on the verge of uniting, he comes up and scatters it. Recently, Southern Governors were on a united platform and spoke with one voice, for the first time, hell, Unknown Gun Men showed up, and here we are, instead of tackling the real issue, we are threatened with genocide. I have always believed in the unity of Igbos first, in both divides, including the Ikwerre, then we can negotiate our ways out of this contraption, but una no dey hear. Every time gra gra and gri gri wey dey tear shirt.
You are talking out of sense.
Way out of sense.

Ndiigbo are Biafrans. Any one who cannot accept Biafra is not with us. That very much is obvious.
Southern governors meeting is nothing but a jamboree.
They have done so in the past and it means nothing.

Sometimes they major in minor and leave out crucial grey areas that should even be their selling point. Nigeria is a terrible country where oppression, suppression and 17th century worldview of conquering others by the Fulanis is a national ideology. IPOB ought to have engaged experts to create a template of how Biafra would be run. A template that would give equal rights to everyone and would allow every section to control their resources and destiny. Create such template and distribute it, and it will be their selling point!

Nigeria is obviously mobilizing resources to blackmail them and make them unattractive, so they need to counter that by showing that Biafra is all about peace, progress, freedom, liberty and economic growth.
IPOB already did this years ago.

And are you prepared to fight them? No. Let's tell ourselves the truth. You're not prepared.

Nigeria is a mistake by the British, the same way colonial and present African countries was a mistake forged out from the Berlin conference. You lot will never understand the game and will continue to be used as sacrifice to unite a dead Nigeria. Maybe that's your fate I don't know. But us here, ain't entering that shit anymore. The trauma we passed through before is enough to give one sense. A brother with a hot head is better left alone, lest he bring the battle to his father's house. It's better I prepare myself for something I can defend against than allow you lot bring that battle to me unprepared.

Enjoy your Biafra, but count us out of it. Everyone must not follow the same part to life. We should all accept responsibility for our actions. Cheers!
Nnaa no one is entering any fight with anyone. NIGERIA is a failed experiment that was never going to work. The fact that you are yet to acknowledge that but instead are still shouting ONE NIGERIA and worshipping shortsighted Zik who was father of ONE NIGERIA,tells me how blind you are.

Quit the emotional blackmail. You didn't suffer one-tenth of what SE suffered during BIAFRA and post Biafra. No one needs such brothers. The true test of brotherhood is the one who stands by you when the going is tough and the odds are stacked greatly against you. Because when the going is good, even the Chinese would become your brothers.

Biafra was rejuvenated in 1999 right? I guess after the demise of Zik. Which tells you that the enemy saw our political vacuum and pounced on it. When the political scene lacked courageous Igbo leaders to obliterate such movement. How many top Igbo personality was part of the forming of MASSOB in 1999? Infact a non-entity like Uwazuzuike arose from nowhere to become popular with the scam movement. If no known Igbo supported MASSOB as of 1999, didn't it tell you it was formed by Obasanjo's PDP to threaten the north as well as weaken Ekwueme's support base? IPOB the offshot of MASSOB has carried on from where MASSOB began. Our people say, a good thing will reflect in the home, but IPOB is a bad thing and will never reflect good thing home.

Please since the emergence of MASSOB/BZM/IPOB point me one thing we've gained. Is it economic growth? Political influence or what?

The Fulani we give much respect have been powerless until 2015. It wasnt until GEJ supported by politically daft Igbos and Niger-Delta allowed Buhari to snatch power. Why cry over what you help contribute? Why not stand as men and strategize to take power back from them?
See like I keep saying.Zik was daft for being a one NIGERIA supporter likewise any Igbo who supports one NIGERIA today.
For a nation to succeed and progress, there must be compatibility of components and unity of purpose.
These vital ingredients will never be present in Nigeria because the Igbo world view is at conflict with the Northern Islamic based ideology and SW divided (pulled towards Islam one side and Xtianity the other side, giving the impression of being neither here nor there to Ndiigbo) demeanor which we interpret in our own narrow view as being treacherous, even when they are only being themselves. Both of these groups are also strongly socialist in nature while Ndiigbo favour capitalism.
The end result is that NIGERIA is like a body without a soul. A car without an engine. It's never going to start let alone move to anywhere.
It would always be permanently rooted to a spot while all nations of the world surpass it.

Which part of Nigeria currently enjoys economic growth? SW? North? SS?
So what are you talking about.

What has Northern presidency done to millions of poor people in the North, what has it done for the poor in SE and the poor in the Creeks when OBJ and GEJ were there?

To support continued existence of NIGERIA is to be anti humanity.
It should be a crime punishable by being stricken by lightening. I swear.

Nwanne! BIAFRA will come, inugo? You and your people can stay in Nigeria and enjoy with your Ijaw killers( as you claimed) and Hausa-Fulani masters and Yoruba friends.
Atleast finally, like the people of South West Cameroon, you lots will no longer have Ndiigbo to blame for your misfortunes and failures.

It's obvious you are becoming emotional again. Hope you know the game of chess, that's how the South-East Igbo will play into the hands of the north again. Many of you will repeat the same mistake as Ojukwu. Why? Emotions!! You don't think. Why for God sake will you allow yourselves to be brainwashed easily. Take a look around and you'll see how so many things are working against the Fulani north. But guess who will come and spoil things again, Igbos. It happened in the first republic and might repeat itself again. Igbos will become the sacrificial lambs as usual.

Since you lots have decided to follow sheepishly without strategizing, then go it alone. Maybe when you realize your folly it will be too late once again. Buhari has already consolidated the Fulani seat to power, and can use state resources to fight his enemies. And can even use the excuse of keeping Nigeria one to elongate his seat to the Presidency by levelling the South-East under the guise of hunting IPOB. Maybe this time when you lose all what you've built and every clan given a new ethnic status in the South-East, that's when your eyes will open.
This is outright obfuscation.

Buhari or no Buhari, Fulani or no Fulanis, Ndiigbo have been pushing for Biafra since 1999 with MASSOB and now IPOB.

Don't be silly. Nothing is working against any Fulani.
Nothing whatsoever. They are having their way and come 2023, the will still retain their power.

The SE have always led Ndigbo. Anambra and Abia precisely. Zik, Aguiyi-Ironsi, Okpara, Ojukwu, Ekwueme, Kanu. All of these men share one thing in common. Anambra and Abia. They never understood the people they claim to lead. Either they were to daft to understand that the survival of Ndigbo was sacrosanct or played into the hands of the enemies. The same thing Kanu is ignorantly doing today, is the same thing Ojukwu did in the past.

From day one till now all the actions and inactions that have led to the failure of the Igbo nation was caused by the South-East precisely those two states. And history is repeating itself again. Even the decision that lead to the creation of Biafra was headed by Ojukwu from the South-East without looking at the bigger picture. And what was the bigger picture? By single-handedly and stubbornly leading us to our slaughter and denigration.

Ojukwu helped the north to balkanize Igboland by going into battle with bare hands. Even when he had the opportunity to source weapons, his liliputian pride didn't allow him. Ojukwu gave Isaac Boro and Adekunle, the impetus to commit genocide against us in River state by leaving us undefended. The same thing he did in Anioma was the same thing he did in Rivers.
Of course that's all you do.
Blame SE for all your shortcomings and woes and then join those who really caused the woes to bash and denigrate SEners.

See, this your little emotional blackmail no longer works.
It stopped working long ago.
You need to up your tactics because it doesn't work again.

The Civil war wasn't caused by Ojukwu, neither was it caused by Ironsi.
If we look at it critically, the cause of the Civil war was a Cascade of events supporting the incompatibility of Ndiigbo and Hausa-Fulans which started right from 1945 and 1953 Igbo Massacres in the North which Zik waved off and still pursued a union with Islamic fundamentalist whose antecedents had already showed that we were incompatible with.
The rate limiting stage of the reaction was triggered by Nzeogwu in 1966 when he led the coup that killed Northern leaders and gave them the platform to finish off what they started in 1945 and 1953 in Grand scale this time and with a good alibi as a backup.

Nzeogwu the last time I checked is not from the SE.
And Zik is not pro BIAFRA.

SO your narratives of pro Biafra and SEners being the cause of Igbo current problem falls flat on close scrutiny.
It's obvious that pro NIGERIA Igbos were and remain the problems today and just like Ojukwu the Biafran was left to clean Zik( Pro NIGERIA) Nzeogwu ( SS and Pro NIGERIA) and Ironsi (Pro NIGERIA) mess, so is MNK left with same task to clean up the mess of the likes of Wike (who is commiting genocide in Obiigbo) and all pro Nigeria SE governors.

So you see? This your emotional blackmail is cheap.
If you want to join your Igbophobic Ijaw neighbors ( who you claim massacred you but who you don't blame but rather blame SEners) to be Igbophobic, do so with your full chest like Ikwerre and Wike is doing.
Don't try to emotionally black mail SEners and Biafrans to justify your actions.
It will not work, inugo?

The Port-Harcourt state we clamored for didn't go as planned. It was supposed to be an Igbo only state had Abacha removed sentiments and create it the way our father's wanted it.

If you think River state will suddenly become pro-Igbo then you can as well wait till eternity. Rivers state will always have relics of anti-Igbo till the end of days. It was built and fermented with anti-Igbo propaganda, and had it not been for the civil war, only the Ijaws and Ogoni would have gone it alone. But the loss of that war dragged us into it. And the Ikwerre having tasted power became mad by fighting a battle with their Chi. Forgetting what we went through in the hands of the Ijaws and now want to become the new Ijaw by enjoying the booty alone.

Any wonder why we, Ekpeye, Ndoni and even Ogba began clamoring for Orashi state which was supposed to be added to Orlu with the help of Senator Nzeribe to form the 6th/7th South-East state.

The truth is that modern Igbo mindset has been wired to hate Zik and love anything Biafra. Whether fraud or fact, the likes of Uwazuruike and Kanu have used their stereotype and one-sided story to render our people mentally and emotionally blank.

The north didn't used Zik against Awo. Both men were simply selfish not to understand the importance of working together. They held on to old grudges and allow the north take centre stage. What happened then is still happening today.

As for 1979-83 repeating itself in 2023 I agree. But neither will the Yoruba nor Igbo gain. The minorities will be the ones north will used this time as always. Igbos have foolishly push themselves below the lower rungs all thanks to the 419 and politically daft business men we have as leaders.
Leaving the Ijaws as the masters of intact Rivers State and Ikwerres( plus Igbophobic Igboids) as the rightful prisoners there was an arrangement ordained by God that Zik was too short sighted to see and went and altered.

Either way, that's water under the bridge.
Well Rivers will remain Igbophobic till eternity and as a surival response and instinct, Ndiigbo have grown gradually to match your Igbo hate with even more hate than devil himself can accommodate towards all of you.
And we have millions of people to bring to play.
We just have to wait out the relevance of crude oil and the rise of natural gas to tip the Economic scales to our favor, and this time around, there would be no mercy!

Please keep your Ogba and Ekpeye out of SE, we don't want you lots contaminating Oguta and Ohaji with your Igbophobia.
Heaven knows how long it took us to finally wean Oguta off their Bini origin fantasies and to embrace Igbo tag.

Zik was a shortsighted fellow and modern Igbo nationalists can see his flaws and they are all unpardonable.
Yes! Modern Igbo nationalism is built around Biafra. If as an Igbo speaking group you cannot embrace Biafra, then you really can't fit in.
You must be funny if you think Ndiigbo are a people someone can manipulate or deceive. You said you are from Egbema Rivers, so you should know better.
Kanu is only relevant as far as he is seen to be protecting and fighting for the Biafran Agenda, while the SE political jobbers are seen as nobodies despite their posts because they are believed by Igbo massess to be aligned with NIGERIA and not Biafra.
Why do you think Uwazuruike is no longer relevant today in Igboland? Because he is seen to have betrayed the Biafran struggle.
Biafra without doubt is the soul of modern Igbo nationalism. Only Biafra can make an Igbo man close his shop or make an Igbo youths lay down their lives willingly, BIAFRA evokes the spirit of altruism inside any pure Igbo soul.
You must be naive and misguided if you think this is about Kanu or IPOB.

And on Zik and Awolowo.
They are both illustrations of how stupid any one who believes in and defends Nigerian Unity look like when analyzed by future generations in the future.
They look vacuous, silly and naive.

I hope you don't be like them in death.

Zik might have his shortcoming but he didn't fail. If not for Zik's masterstroke we'll still be in bondage in the hands of the Ijaws in Rivers state.

The north vs south experiment by the British was for selfish reasons. Nobody was consulted when that agreement was made. And Zik alone couldn't do anything to upset the apple cart.

Zik for all his fallings did more for Ndigbo than any Igbo dead or alive.
1. We gained a lot under Zik's leadership during the first republic.
2. Even after the civil war, it took us just 10 years to gain relevance politically as we topped the chart under Shagari.
3. Zik after the war understood that we we've being balkanized by the federal government. He made sure that Igbo people gradually form one region together.
4. Beside helping to remove Anioma grom the West, Zik was making sure to add them and his Onitsha people into one state to make up another Igbo state. But that didn't materialize as Babangida created Delta.
5. Port-Harcourt state was supposed to be created out of Rivers state as a lot of us agitated for it. Zik even in old age sent our delegates to meet Ukiwe who helped in no small measure in given the Ijaws their own state, allowing us the be free from their wahala.
Zik failed.
Infact freeing the genocidal Igbophobic Ikwerre and the likes of Ogba from Ijaw bondage was part of Zik failure.
If Zik did his home work well, there wouldn't be a Wike.

We gained nothing through Zik.
All the developmental progress Ndiigbo made in those era were all brainchild of Michael Okpara and not shortsighted Zik.

2. The Yoruba had a fall out with the North after the civil war nah. Awolowo naively felt the North would repay him for his Italian job against Ndiigbo during the civil war, the North jilted him.
He stupidly felt Ndiigbo hated the North more than we hated his slimy self, but he Learnt a bitter lesson.
The North were simply using Zik and Awolowo against each other. Dumping them at will and choosing the other who is willing to pay back the other by supporting the North.
There was no master strategy in what Zik did in 1979.
The Yorubas just got tired of playing second fiddle to the North and wanted to rule. The North taught them a lesson.
If only they were happy to remain second to the North all through, Zik was not going to get shishi.
What Happened in 1979 and. 83 might yet happen again in 2023.
The Yoruba having backed the North (Buhari) against the South (GEJ) are tired of playing second fiddle, they feel the North should reward them for their job in weakening the South, but the North doesn't share power, so come 2023, the Yorubas will lose out again, as it was in 1979 and it would have nothing to do with Igbo political class sagacity or anything.
They are all just pawns in the Northern game.
Some of us are tired of that stupid cycle of retrogression where so called Igbo and Yoruba elites hustle and bicker each other over who would play second fiddle to retrogressive North.

Our children deserve a clean slate. A new cycle built on progression.
BIAFRA would offer them just that.

You can stay in Nigeria with your Egbema people

Biafra is not Igbo. It was never Igbo from day one. Historically it was all about the Eastern region and never about Ndigbo as an ethnic group? Did Ojukwu add Anioma to Biafra? Did Ojukwu add Kogi and Benue Igbos to Biafra, absolutely No.

Nnamdi Kanu the fake Ojukwu is worst than those who made the same mistakes. Is Kanu speaking for Ndigbo, No? Does Kanu care for Ndigbo? No. Does Kanu understand Ndigbo apart from his one-sided Biafra, No? If you ask Kanu the meaning of Biafra, he'll foolishly add up areas to satisfy his landgrabbing tendencies.

The earlier we understand our plight as Igbos and begin to think with our senses, a lot will change for us. The earlier we dump that fraudster Kanu and get a politically conscious charismatic Igbo that understands diplomacy and tact, someone like Zik but a pan-Igbo a lot will change
Nnaa. There is no type of politics we an play with Islamic fanatics in North and still remain progressive as a people.
Zik tried it and failed.

Islam as a law made it that non Muslims must not rule over Muslims.

Our life outlook is totally divergent with those of the North and to some extent with those of SW and minorities as well.

Ndiigbo should naturally have a nation of our own. Which we can model after our own ideology and life outlook. Maybe we can admit smaller friendly minorities that share similar ideology with us like the Yako, Ekoi, etc in Northern Cross River as confederation arrangement.
Or we can just go at it alone.
Which ever way would be fine.

Zik experiment failed and should never be repeated.
NIGERIA is a failed experiment as far as Ndiigbo are concerned. It's like our vomitus that we must not re swallow, we must move on unto better things.

Biafra should not be exchanged with Ndigbo. I for instance will never support any useless Biafra for reasons I've stated in the past. I rather remain in Nigeria than go with Biafra, but that doesn't mean I won't defend my ethnic group.

Before MASSOB rejuvenated this faulty enterprise called Biafra, Ndigbo were gradually mending fences naturally. The place is starved of any tangible development. It's a pity.

Nna, I don't think this is the right time to be discussing identity. We have an offer at hand. SE is on the table and many are rather happy MNK takes it except that he is stubborn as always.
He still believes that in one way, he can get the remaining part of Igboland that are lost, including the ones that insult us for a living.
I suggest, all other confused people stay down so that we can go with the SE states, Obigbo and few willing ones UN can grant us. We don't need to be delayed any longer. None of us is getting younger
True.
A wise person would take whatever offer at hand currently and negotiate later.
Ojukwu refused the USSR offer in 1960s, looking for a perfect offer that never came. With hindsight, we know he was wrong.

What I'm saying is that knowing IPOB and MNK, if groups from these Igbo speaking parts of SS don't come out openly and disgrace and denounce any link with SE, MNK and IPOB will never get the message or smell the coffee that these lots are not interested.

Someone like Osinakachukwu Ideozu coming out to denounce Biafra on behalf of Ekpeye would make alot of sense and help MNK make up his mind on SE Biafra fast.

Where have you been to in Ekpeyeland?
Few places there for traditional wedding.
Ihugobo or something.

I don't know if you are from there or not but Please I am begging you in the name of God, advice your people to stay down.
If you have noticed, MNK is under pressure to accept the 5 SE states. If you people like us, you should keep quiet now let one of us that is more likely to leave go.
Since you people managed to stay put since and in one way or the other allow or encourage the insults we endured over the years, you can definitely stay put for at least one more year, so that we will check if MNK will accept the offer.
We will support you guys as a country.
But if left for me, you guys are already doing well in Bayelsa with Ijaw people for you to be calm all these while
I don't understand this your post.
No offense, but I can't make sense of it.
They should stay down so that what would happen?
It's not like MNK and IPOB will stop dragging them and delaying us.
I'd say they should either come out and disgrace MNK publicly by denouncing totally any link with SE, so that MNK and IPOB can move on, or they should speak up now to show their support to SE, so that MNK and IPOB would have legitimacy in dragging them along SE and not look like kidnappers forcing Ekpeye into Biafra.

Ekpeye people remained with Ndiigbo to the end during the Biafran war. And they totally rejected Rivers State creation during the Willink commission fearing Ijaw domination and preferring to stay with their Igbo brothers.
If Rivers State were to be created by referendum in 60s and not by a military fiat, Ekpeye would have voted to stay with East Central state.

But things have changed and Ikwerre and Ogba have corrupted Ekpeye with their rabid Igbophobia virus.
Ekpeye is now rabidly Igbophobic.

Ekpeye still have strong men like Osinakachukwu Ideozu and the likes of Chibudom Nwuche.
They should speak up and make their stance Known.
But I belong to Ekpeye Facebook pages and so know for certain that Ekpeye commoners have been smitten with Igbo hate they were infected with by Ikwerres and Ogbas.

I'll excuse your ignorance. There's no paranoia behind what I wrote.
Ikenga is truly an Igbo thing but the current Biafra is not. If however Biafra emerges a pure Igbo affair, we can always change the name to Ikenga or any other suitable name of our choice.
All the rest things I wrote remain in order.
Whether you like it or not.
Biafra is and will in the end still be an Igbo thing.
You can go on continuing in your self deception if that makes you feel better.

Even the Egbema in Rivers sef, my hand no dey.
Only Obigbo I know because they showed the world that they are proud of themselves, they wear the Igbo badge with honor.
Anybody that wants to join Ndigbo now will be screened thoroughly.
The era of iberiberism have passed.
Even on twitter and radio stations today, the confused fellows saw hell.
No more using Igbo as an escape route
Has the Egbema in Rivers joined the stupidity now? I was there in 2007 and I received a warm reception.
It was a burial ceremony and no one ever gave me the standoffish behavior you get from Igbophobic Igboids like Ekpeye, Ikwerre,Etche, Ogba,Ika.
They all treated me like a brother. I went strolling around with friend, it was a burial of a very old man, so it was more of celebration of life.
Well if they have changed, then we can as well "Dash" them to Hausa-Fulanis.
That era of begging has gone.

After the civil war Ekpeye people were silent, refusing to identify with the Igbos neither the Ijaw. Ekeye is the bridge betwixt Igbos and Ijaws.

Zarama are the closest people to Ekpeye.
I think Ndoni/Ndokwa language is spoken in parts of Biseni.

Succinctly written.
The OP is a DSS agent with the sole aim of creating cracks on our Biafran goal. He's the same person as Deltafire. He doesn't know we know all the DSS handles here and the persons operating them. This is the age of information and every one assisting the terrorist government to keep our people in bondage will soon be left to defend themselves alone. This is when they will regret all the evils they committed while doing this hatchet job.
Our people are dying because of them and those death must be atoned for at the appropriate time.
No need for this Paranoia.

I know Azuka Onwuka on Facebook. He is my Facebook friend and he is a proud Igbo man from Nnewi who doesn't believe NIGERIA should remain one, but who doesn't subscribe to Multiethnic Biafra with minorities.
He understands Minorities very well like I do.

You should search for him on Facebook and read his articles.

They should be the ones speaking out.
As far as I am concerned, they don't exist.
Say NO to forming big brother
Say NO to speaking for people with mouth.
Thanks.

There are no Igbos in Bayelsa and Ekpeye are not Igbos.
The only Igbos in Rivers so far are Egbema and Obiigbo. cool

Ikenga republic is not bad. As long as we have Enu-ani and Obiigbo covered or atleast given a chance to join, in addition to Benue Igbo and Isobo in Cross River, I'm happy.
