Finally it feels good to have a proudly Igbo people rubbishing non Igbos plans to divide Igboland and ridicule the rest of Ndiigbo.
Imagine if Ogalla Ikechukwu were from places like Ika, Ukwuani, Ikwerre. Efulefus from those areas would have come out to join non Igbos to deny Igbo and then ridicule and make Ndiigbo sound like land grabbers. Nothing as sweet as brother you are embracing, embracing you same time and making a fool of enemies who gathered like vultures to feast on the occasion.
Alexbells, thanks for this thread. Send my greetings to your Onyishi in Enugu-Ezike. Ohaneze Ndiigbo will soon release a public communique to congratulate a worthy Igbo son Ogalla Ikechukwu on the attainment of the Pinnacle of his career.

AlexBells: Mischief makers are determined on their divisive antics against the Igbo Nation but this time, Ezikoba is Not some Igbophobic part of AlaIgbo, we are a core part of the Igbo Nation. I had never hidden that I'm from Ezikoba and Ikechukwu Ogala is a proud son of Umopu Ada in Enugu Ezike, AlaIgbo, Nigeria.
The difference I used to have with some of my Igbo brothers and sisters here is that I believe in the Federal Republic of Nigeria but that's quite minor as the Igbo in me is greater than the Nigerian in me and if there's ever a referendum and Biafra wins, I will gladly join my brothers and sisters, I however wish that Nigeria get better than divide and if division becomes eminent, I had always prefered AlaIgbo Republic to Biafra having said that not just Ikechukwu but the entire Ezikoba apart from Etteh community which while being in Igbo Eze North is not part of Enugu Ezike as such may not be Igbo.
They said that we are stone but see who is in charge of the fleets, I continue to maintain that the Igbo Nation don't have issues with Yorubas and apart from the terrorisms of some Fulanis we also don't have issues with them, the only people we have slight issues with are the Ijaws and I had always said this issue can be settled peacefully however the creeks are about to be in the right hand for those recklessly accusing our navy especially.
We shall explore all peaceful option and like I said I stand with Peter Obi until the court have done their due diligence however I thank Bola Tinubu for some of the actions so far especially the removal of the qouter system in education albeit indirectly. Etteh is Indigenously Igbo. But the Idomas currently constitute the majority there, like 60% while Igala and Igbo share the remaining 40%. The Igala trouble makers in Etteh know how they got there from Idah and were accommodated by the Igbo aboriginals of Etteh. If they are tired of being Igbo, they can go back to Idah. Case closed. All their attempts to take Etteh to Olamaboro LGA of Kogi state have been rebuffed by the Igbo aboriginals and their Idoma allies in Etteh. I thought you are from this area, you should be conversant with these issues. |

Politics › Re: Profile Of Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla, Chief Of Naval Staff by Igboid: 10:14am On Jun 20, 2023 |
MrJah: Ogalla is not an Igalla man. I am from Aji in Enugu Ezike. In Enugu Ezike, our ancestral maternal home is Idah and Iheaka. Because we live and share boundaries with the Igallas, we do share surnames as a result of intermarriages. Some of the villages whom the ancestral maternal home is Idah, are the ones paying homage to the Atta of Igalla. Also the ethnic make up of Idah Igbos in Nsukka originated from is not same as that of Idah of today. As of the time some Igbo speaking communities left Iddah, Idah was a totally Igbo speaking enclave who shared boundaries with some Akpoto and Yoruba clans. It was the invasion of Junkun warlords from Kwararafa that forced the Aboriginal Igbos in Idah to migrate further southwards forming Igbo speaking communities in Kogi East like Akpanya and finally many more in Enugu North. Some other Igbos in Idah stayed behind and established peace with the invading Jukuns. The Achadu(Asadu) clan was the leader of the Igbo aboriginals in Idah who stayed behind. They were then United with the Aboriginal Yoruba neighbors and the Akpoto natives by the invading Junkun warlords to form the Amalgam you call Igala today. The Igala is a mixed group consisting of Igbo, Yoruba, Junkun and Akpoto (proto Idomatoid people). This is why Igala is Yoruboid by language as Yorubas formed the bulk of the foundation population, Igbo by culture, Junkun by royalty and Akpoto by behavior. So you see, when Igbo ancestors speak of originating from Idah. The ethnography of the Idah they speak of was Igbo and at a time before the foundation of Igala by Junkun warlords. The late Attah Igala confirmed this as well. |

FreeStuffsNG: I think they are right to an extent but it does not change the fact that the President appointed him based on how eminently qualified Nigerian he is and he is from South East Igbo region of Nigeria. His name is Ikechukwu and he is from Igbo-Eze North LGA, Enugu state which borders Benue and Kogi state but part of the Igala land before states demarcation.
They are probably the minority in South East and it's nice to know about them. I never really knew much about the Igala in South East and that they are so much in number and promised like that. If you now deduct their population all over South East from the population of Igbo, this further supports the reason why the population of Igbo is actually much smaller than even the minority population seen in the various data released so far.

They speak Igbo and Igala but ethnically Igala.
The Igala in Enugu extend to as far as Nsukka the capital of Enugu state so therefore, a significant part of Enugu state is ethnically Igala but they are from the South East not from North Central. Stop writing nonsense and misinforming the public. There is no Igala in Igbo-eze. Ette is a trilingual community shared between Igbo, Igala and Idoma at the tip of Enugu State. Cooly100: The next important thing for the region is, aside building recreational and luxurious assets to attract people to the area is for the SE leaders to ensure an airport in the region is fully an international airport to attract airlines like Delta, KLM, BA, Virgin...as of now there is only Ethiopian airline.
This will reduce contact with Lagos and even Abuja..
Once there is an influx of people from one area in Nigeria to the other...the other region will decrease in population. It's a natural thing. This is very important. We need to reduce contact with Lagos and Abuja to barest minimum. A strong international aviation hub in SE will do that, and even force embassies to open annexes in SE if they notice that majority of visa applications are coming from SE. For example majority of travels to SE Asia are from Igbos I don't understand why countries like Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, etc should be having their embassies in Lagos and Abuja and not Enugu. These are things we have to work on, on long term. Our region is the safest region in Nigeria for crying out loud. |

PUNCH Live With World’s Fastest 100m Hurdler, Tobi Amusan This is contained in the National Human Development Report for Nigeria, 2016. The report adds that Abuja, which is the Federal Capital Territory, is the safest city to live in Nigeria as it ranks low in the Human Security Index The UNDP defined Human Security as safety from chronic threats such as hunger, disease and repression as well as protection from sudden and harmful disruptions in patterns of daily life whether in homes, jobs or communities. The Economic Adviser, UNDP Nigeria, Mr. Ojijo Odhiambo, said at the launching of the report in Abuja on Friday that the North-East and the North-West remain the most affected areas in Nigeria The report adds, “The report further highlights the existing gap in human security across the geopolitical zones of the country; – the most human security secure geopolitical zone is the South-East while the North-West and the North-East geopolitical zones are the least human security secured, with residents of the Federal Capital Territory being the worst in most realms of the Human Security Index. |

You're more like to be killed on the smaller city than big city just doing basic math but that's beyond you. If you know one region has a significantly higher population than the other it's easy to know which place is safer. SW has a much bigger population than the SE you clown. Get the hell out of my thread you jellyfish. Where did you get population result of Nigerian city from? Nigeria has no credible population result since 1960 until date. The aggregate numbers tell you how many crimes happen it doesn't tell you how often it happens or likelihood. I know trying to get this through to an sub 90 IQ clown is you is like trying to teach a monkey calculus. Nope. You are an slowpoke disguising under transparent cloak of intellectualism when your lack of thinking ability is obvious. Infact the worst fool is one who doesn't know that he is one, and that typifies you. The data available in thread is obvious. SE has the least crime committed over the study period. You speak of population, but Nigeria has no objective population data that hasn't been subject of dispute following political manipulation of figures. So how exactly can you hope to get an objective data used such a flawed information? You see why you are as brainless as a jellyfish? The data available in thread OP speaks for itself, if you had a modicum of braincells, it isn't hard to understand and taken for what it is, but the oily soup you gobble has clogged your brain cells and damaged them beyond repair, so this is where we are now.
