It is just like saying the whole Niger state or Kogi state is more than SW in size and it would be more or less true but is Kogi richer than even only Osun state?. Kwara is even larger than Osun but not as rich as Osun. Oyo might be three times the size of Osun but on a per Capita basis Osun will be richer. However anywhere under proper management will be rich. If you have enough arable land you have no problem and if you don't you can import food but SE can easily contain around four Osun state and that is big. Oyo has an extensive savannah in the Northern part. As small as Ijesa land is, you find thousands of Benue, Cross river, Hausas and Kogi also Urhobos farming in the place.
