Visa officer: have you traveled before
Me: No

Visa officer: (smiling) are you married?
Me: (thinking she is flirting) No I'm single and searching?

Visa officer: sorry your Visa has been denied. (Stamps big rejection on my passport)

People started laughing in the back. Shame catch me that day.

Not to state the obvious - I studied and work in the UK.

I am aware that some schools in the UK will allow exceptions - perhaps by providing a letter from your Undergraduate Uni that your course was taught entirely in English and with at least a C6 grade in English (Waec).

This does not mean the condition is not there. There is no University in the World where Nigeria is listed as English competent. You will either have to provide English language tests - or they grant you an exception.

If there was any - we all won’t need to write Toefl and IELTS to get an admission to study abroad.

Not all schools in abroad ask for that.

Most schools in UK and Australia don't.

VISA GRANTED!!!
timeline:
Got admission and CAS from Bounemouth University.
Applied for Visa on 26th Nov!
Biometrics and Interview on 27th Dec!
Earlier today i called UKVI and they confirmed a descision has been taken already. In an hour time Tls mail came in.
Passport collected 1:20pm.!
I used Standard.
Visa was granted even after having Two student Visa refusals from Australia this year (Feb and August).

God is wonderful!!!! I dedicate this to him. Thank you guys. This forum is just so helpful and blessed. For those waiting for their Visa, may it be granted for you. Amen.

Please did you know the probable reasons for your Australian Visa refusals?

I just applied for the AUS study Visa yesterday. My school resumes February 2020.
