There is nothing like a christian or muslim president. Nigeria is a secular state, which means citizens have freedom of religion and cannot be discriminated on their religion or creed.

I would personally want a ticket that has multi-religious appeal but to try to create a storm in a tea cup over same religion ticket is becoming boring....There are more than 10 candidates running for president just choose one....CAN opposing a particular party will not help them.

When you want to add religion into the tribalism on ground then we are playing with fire....I travelled around Nigeria while living there and I can tell you nothing starts war than religion....even Jos, the very peaceful city was not spared once religious differences is played up....tribalism always take the back seat.
