VandalSavage:
Good morning Dear nairalanders smiley

who else has noticed the amount of tribal peace and unity on the Nairaland politics section these days huh

It appears that the ipob are nowhere to be found
And are now channeling their energy to support of Peter obi

I remember few months ago when I had to constantly slay ipob bigots, but these days I no longer see them rain their usual insults and blame on the Yorubas cheesy

It is now OBIents vs Tinubu urchins grin

When we were telling them that not all Yorubas supports tinubu they never listened,a lot of Yorubas Know better than to vote tinubu

but I'm glad now that the osun State election has proven that the South West isn't just an APC playground, tinubu's APC has failed to win his own state.....that speaks volumes

Now I want to tell you guys about my experience ,I was in a barbershop when a man came in,he was friends with the barber and this man was a confirm yourba man, and I've never seen this man speak English always Yoruba

he looks like the average person that you would expect to support tinubu, and I already assumed he was another tinubu urchins, when the topic of generation election came up,he was asked who he was going to vote and he proudly said PETER OBI cheesy

I was shock cause this man uses a button phone and isn't into Twitter or Facebook so we can't say he's just and online noise maker

I was shocked and happy at the same time, the OBI hype is real !!!

And am glad that the reasonable Yorubas and Igbos are finally getting along :

Together we must fight against agbado man and Fulanis terrorist that wants to destroy our dear country

#OBI2023
Osun has nothing to do with Tinubu or Atiku or Obi for that matter. It was a local power tussle.....Tinubu, Atiku or Obi may have helped their candidate add a few votes but largely local matters determined the outcome....In the presidential election Tinubu will win Osun by over 80%...Peter Obi may even get up to 7% of the votes unlike the less than 1% of the votes Lasun (LP candidate) got in the governorship.

swaggerjack:
Did Tinubu snitch on members of his drug cartel Adegboyega Mueez Akande and Abiodun Agbele in return for a plea bargain agreement to avoid jail and only forfeit $460k in drug trafficking proceeds like Sammy "The Bull" Gravano who was the highest ranking mafia member to break the oath of "Omerta" and testify against his boss John Gotti and member of his mafia cartel.
You have no idea about drug crimes...Ask any DEA officer for education on this. Forfeiture of $100 billion will not make anyone avoid jail. The best plea bargain can buy a criminal is reduced jail term......But Tinubu was never declared a criminal in the US court and besides he was an ordinary immigrant....your story or rumour or lies have no basis in the legal system....

At best you may wonder whether Tinubu was working for DEA as a spy to fish out these guys

With APC losing Osun election, they've successfully made plans to rig the presidential election and have a perfect reference that elections were free and fair, "like Osun"..
APC and Tinubu know they can't win the presidential election in a free and fair election.
You won't be able to complain cos they didn't complain when they lost Osun. It's all a plan for future reference. They'll gaslight you and try to paint a picture of you being a sour loser.
The silence of APC and the North on the outcome of Osun State election is deafening.
Don't let it deceive you.
I wonder on their silence myself....They are not congratulating the winner.....they are behaving as if there was no election......I am sure they will use the lessons learn for evil....I don't trust both APC and PDP they are one and thesame

AND SO HE WAS COMPLETELY FORGIVEN AND WASN'T PUT TO JAIL FOR HIS CRIME EVEN IF IT IS FOR JUST A DAY AS AGAINST YEARS. DOES THE UNITED STATES LAW RUN A PARTIAL SYSTEM OF LAW?
Many of the people spreading this news have never left Nigeria and have no understanding of what they are talking about. For other crimes you may say well there was a plea bargain but for drugs and narcotics in the USA it is on another level DEA will never allow him walk free....he may bargain to reduce his jail term but to say an ordinary immigrant paid $400k to avoid jail for drugs crime in America? It will never happen!

Why did he not consult Christian leaders first before going for his bigoted Muslim-Muslim ticket. It is now that Adoboye is relevant abi.

In his words "Asiwaju, where are you going this night? Them dey drive you for town?"

Asiwaju then responded saying "no o etc"

Take a listen!

You can hear Atiku saying he just came in as Tinubu was leaving....video would suggest Tinubu left Osun before the election if this is really Osun.....I don't think there is an airport in Osun though
Politics › Re: 2023 Elections: Peter Obi Gains Massive Christian Support At Winners' Chapel by IgOga(m): 9:36pm On Jul 18, 2022
FalseProphet1:
Honestly, Tinubu has lost the election. The north he's depending on for votes are already secretly rallying around Atiku, the Christians who would have voted him have all withdrawn their support because of his choice of choosing a Muslim vice who openly spoke ill against the Igbos.

The SW everyone was expecting him to have Bloc votes from as things stands he's not even guaranteed of winning the 6 SW states is it the North he wants to win.

Honestly, Tinubu miscalculated this time...his greed would be his un-doing. If he had allowed Osibanjo win, he would have still be regarded as the father of SW politics. But because of greed and foolish entitled mentality like Nigeria is his personal property he's going to be disgraced next year.

Tinubu's urchins have been spending their lives attacking LP and ignoring that PDP is still a formidable force to be reckoned with and gradually PDP is reclaiming all APC controlled states. Yet their problem is LP. Useless urchins.

This I have seen.
Watch and learn politics.....campaign will officially start in September 2022....save your post for Feb 2023....then you will know whether you have seen well or not grin

It's a shame there is no election is SE until Feb 2023....It would have been a true test of LP's popularity....governorship election is local though Lasun, the LP candidate is a lightweight....even when he was in APC he couldn't convince his own neighbours to vote him in APC primaries.....The way I see it currently Obi will take many traditional PDP votes from Atiku in the South...Kwankwanso will equally take away many otherwise Fulani tribalist votes from Atiku in the NW...both scenarios only benefit APC in the presidential election....IF Obi/Kwankwanso was a thing the 2023 election will be anybody's guess

If you want to support Obi...good for you....I have consistently said the winner of the 2023 presidential election will either be Tinubu or Obi...Atiku will not win simply because he has no path to victory
Politics › Re: 2023: Kwankwaso Only Threat To PDP, Not Tinubu – Atiku’s Ally by IgOga(m): 3:27pm On Jul 18, 2022
ArewaNorth:
Ahead of the 2023 election, Reno Omokri, a socio-political activist, has declared that Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate is not a threat to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Omokri said the only threat to PDP’s victory in 2023 is Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, and not Tinubu.

In a tweet, Omokri, who is an ally of PDP’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, noted that Tinubu, who could not ensure APC’s victory in Osun State, can’t pose a threat to PDP’s victory.

“The only threat to PDP is Kwankwaso. Tinubu is going nowhere. A KNOWN DRUG LORD who can’t win his home state can’t win the whole slate.

“As for the other deluded fellow, in 8 months’ time, he will wake up from his dream and realise it was a nightmare!,” he tweeted.

APC had failed to retain power in Osun State.

During the just-concluded governorship election in Osun State, PDP’s Ademola Adeleke defeated the outgoing Governor, Gboyega Oyetola of the APC.

https://dailypost.ng/2022/07/18/2023-kwankwaso-only-threat-to-pdp-not-tinubu-atikus-ally/
grin grin grin

From my vantage position I can categorically say that there is no way Atiku will win in 2023.

In the SE and SS, traditionally PDP stronghold, Atiku needs to battle Peter Obi

In the NW, where Atiku would have hoped to reap the large Fulani and muslim votes he now needs to battle Kwankwanso and APC's Muslim/Muslim ticket

NE will be split between Atiku and Shetimma...and Atiku never really won NE since he's been contesting...

SW will go 75% to APC cos of Tinubu

NC will be split among LP, APC and PDP.....

Deep in Reno's mind he knows that Atiku has no chance but he must work for his money
