nairalanda1: The problem is, the education budget is not enough to meet all needs, so fees have to go up.
We have been spending N45000 as fees, meanwhile all our FGC's are in a serious mess...yet we keep spending low fees, because poor.
Well, fees have gone up, You are not making any sense, fuel subsidy was removed so that government will have more funds to support education and healthcare system. |

Lotanna2: The supreme court will settle it but importantly, obi failed to prove that he won He won! there's nothing there to prove, INEC did not conduct an election, all they did was selection. For example, If three of you were to write an exam and the papers to be marked under a CCTV camera. On that day, The Examiner smuggled an already written answers for one of you and also ended the exam before the stipulated time so that you don't get to finish your own, and when he was asked to provide the records of everything that transpired during the examination, it happens that nothing was recorded on the camera, He sited technical problem, So, tell me how you can prove that you passed the exam when the only condition you went into the exam is because you were assured that everything will be recorded on camera and there be no room for cheating.? For you, is It not either they cancel the exam or they declare you first? |

Ghenghen, It is extremely easy to defend the truth, Nothing can save Tinubu and APC on this one. And to the Agbodo lying tools, If Obi did not win, why then did INEC deny access to only the presidential election results from reaching the IREV from the polling centers, hence gave room to result manipulations? With transmission of the results from the polling centers, you don't even need to risk the lives of the party agents or presiding officers, Once the votes have been counted and the result posted/transferred to the IREV immediately. Everybody goes home peacefully.
And to the Agbado boys, Election that is not conducted transparently and in accordance with the electoral act 2022, is null and void. Victory can only be awarded to any candidate as a compensation by the court.
And since Wole Olanipekun went back in time to 1979, Livy Uzoukwu had to also go back in time to 1979 to bring him back to reality, period!. |

But her region gave it tribal coloration, that JAMB was against Igbos, stuff like that...
This is news on Nairaland and we are both contributing, nothing more... See, I don't have any bad feelings against her.
My argument with you since is not even about her but her people and how they turned it into a tribal war... You kept on saying your people and tribal war and at the same time making tribal comments and what have you. We have Ethnic, Racial, Or Sectarian Political section on this forum. You can go there and meet your fellow bigots. Over there you will see your fellow bigots from all tribes. You can identify with them |

GodSon1900: My point is, come out plain to defend her.
Stop being a hypocrite or two-faced.
Defending her in one post and acting like you are not on another... I would have ignored you and your childish acts but hear this story about the Tortoise’s in-law stealing from him in the night. Tortoise caught his in-law that came to steal from him in the night. He tied him(the in-law) to a tree in front of his house for all to know the kind of person the in-law was. Passers-by on the way to their farms and the market in the morning saw the in-law and on being told of his bad behaviour, sided with the Tortoise and heaped insults on the in-law, saying that he deserved all the humiliation and the punishment meted to him by Tortoise. However, Tortoise left the in-law tied to the tree till the evening. When farmers and traders were returning home and saw that the in-law was still tied to the tree, they could not hide their disdain for Tortoise and condemned his action because of their belief that the punishment had exceeded the offence. They wondered what he would have done if it had not been his in-law who stole from him. So, Tortoise mismanaged his opportunity, he allowed his anger to get better part of him and he paid dearly for it. The moral of the story is that when a thing, even a good one, lingers for too long, it eventually litters if not properly managed. When a point is over-stressed, it becomes stressed out of point. |

Even if they are to keep her in solitary confinement, you won't still see it as a punishment. whatever has drove you to this level of wickedness is beyond imagination. If keeping someone out of school for 3 years is not a big punishment for forging result then let treat her the same punishment Madam Kemi was given. |

BreconHills: I was answering you because you spoke about fact over emotion. I generally don't respond to obidients because it is a religious cult. You can't reason with them.
What I have stated is the law. The burden of proving a matter rests on the party asserting it. All you need to do is to check whether what I have said is correct. Instead you continue to hold fast to your opinion as if the law cares about opinion.
The reason INEC and the APC called only two witnesses between them is because they are asserting that neither LP or PDP has made a case for re run or change of winner. In such a case, the respondent will not create any possible opportunity for loopholes in its case by calling many witnesses that can be cross examined by the petitioner.
Whether the court or tribunal believes them is another matter but APC ans INEC's failure to elongate the trial or call many witnesses is simply because in their opinion, the petitioners have not made their own case, so why help them?
Modified for clarity INEC missed the whole point, they did not defend the election that they conducted, That response is expected of APC and not the INEC, their defense should be how transparent, fair and free the election they conducted was and not about labour party wining or not. Their responsibility is to be transparent and be seen to be. They did not call enough witness because they don't have enough evidence to backup their claim about election being free and fair. Labour party is of the opinion that INEC announced results where election did not hold and INEC is asking labour party to produce the result of the places where election did not hold and still refused to allow them access to BVAS machines. Tribunal will go through the evidences that have been presented before them to make their ruling. |

BreconHills: INEC are not the one that initiated the case. The burden of proof is always on the person asserting the fact. LP and PDP must prove not only that there was fraud but that the scale of such fraud renders the entire election null and void or that they won the election based on numbers. Election is supposed to be transparent, right? so how do you expect the Labour party to act the role of INEC, INEC manufactured results from where there was no voting and still refused to make available the source of their results. You lots are very wicked individuals and don't deserve any response. |
