INEC also failed to prove how Tinubu won an election. Any Election that lacks in transparency is dead on arrival, You declared someone the winner out of blue and when asked to produce the document that you got your results from, You refused. You won't allow them access to the BVAS machine and you are here talking rubbish.
Where will the party agents get results where election did not take place?
Provide the BVAS machines, NO.
Karma will surely visit all of you one after the other

Your submission lacks reasoning , Abuja can never and will never decide election in Nigeria.
When the constitution says 25% in 2/3 , that is 36 states and Abuja , it means Abuja inclusive.
When there is any talk about Nigeria states, you will always see and Abuja. That is inclusiveness of Abuja with other states. There is no where in the world democracy that will say you must win a particular place to become a president.
Don't change the narrative, all that is needed is 1/4 of the lawful votes cast,, Not a win.

In my years alive, I have never seen a more brainwashed set of people than the supporters of labour party.

Firstly, the problem been referred to here is the likely pandemonium the 25% in Abuja debate if ratified by the Court will create for future Elections.

> It will elevate Abuja voters above all other states in Nigeria.

> It will go against the constitution of Nigeria that states all votes cast in Nigeria are the same because it will mean casting your vote in Abuja is more important than casting it in Akure, Onisha or Kano.

Secondly, a runoff doesn't itself guarantee that the winner of the runoff will still get the 25% requirement in Abuja. So will we simply continue to go for runoffs until the winning candidate get 25% in Abuja even if he gets 25% in all the 36 states of the federation.

Furthermore, this will put a weird spotlight on the democraphics of Abuja in future Elections which might create an ugly situation. Politicians might just import people from other states to make up the 25% in Abuja which might create an unwanted national debate in the future. Tribes will begin to fight over who should be allowed to vote in Abuja etc.

In conclusion, Tinubu's lawyer in his final written argument to the judges is only pushing his legal points with real life likely scenarios that might come out of the judgement.
What you need to understand is that Abuja is the seat of power, if votes are the same then any candidate that gets highest number of votes wins. no need for 25% in 2/3 of the States. Besides, why was the word "including FCT" not used, why "AND FCT"? that means that FCT is a must.
Think before you type, you can manipulate votes easily in any other state but you can't manipulate that of Abuja easily. States have Governors that write results even before the voting starts but Abuja has no Governor.

Abuja should be used as the yardstick for every state.

This exactly what I'm saying

You guys including your principal can't even present concrete proof of votes that your Candidates actually won as they were stating!

Na wa for Una o.

My only concern is how you lots have been deliberately misinforming ignorant folks with "stolen mandate" and 25th FCT!
You know the truth, so, no need arguing with you , like I said, there are many ways to kill a BAT.

Politics / Re: Obi Only Recorded 25% In 16 States by Igwe9(m): 12:07pm On Jul 17, 2023
TheBillyonaire:
Winning 25% in Abuja is nonsense.

Abuja is like 37th State, so if any Candidate won 25% of 37 States, it should be fine.

What is special about Abuja that residents must know Candidate enough to give 25% votes.

Makes no sense.
If Abuja is the 37th State, Who is the Governor of Abuja?
You deprived Abuja other benefits and still deprived it its importance.

Can you tell the difference between
"25% in 2/3 of the 36 states and FCT" and
"25% in FCT and 2/3 of the 36 states".?
Both statements consist of the same words but are completely different in meaning. Fair enough, English is a borrowed language, but what is so hard in this for you Obidients to understand?
What's the answer to 2/3( A +B) or 2/3( 36A +B)?
Politics / Re: Tinubu To PEPT: Nullifying The Election Over 25% FCT Could Cause Anarchy, Chaos by Igwe9(m): 6:37am On Jul 17, 2023

FCT is no more than any state. It is just the seat of governance and therefore should NOT in anyway be used as a yardstick to determine who wins the presidential election.
The constitution is very clear...
"Highest number of votes and at least 2/3 of the states of the federation" (with or without the FCT).
That's your own constitution, even Tinubu lawyer acknowledged that FCT does not have some things that State have like Governors, House of assemble etc. and at same hand says that FCT is considered as one of the States.
Isn't that contradictory?
It is clear, if FCT wasn't important, it should have been indicated just as you stated.
Politics / Re: Tinubu To PEPT: Nullifying The Election Over 25% FCT Could Cause Anarchy, Chaos by Igwe9(m): 4:27pm On Jul 16, 2023
There was no anarchy when Yakubu hurriedly announced the result, right?
If 25% votes in FCT does not matter then why not make it a simple majority?
If the FCT Votes saga is treated anyhow, then next time only the results from one Zone will be used to determine the winner as long as the beneficial candidate pulls the highest votes as every vote is equal.

The constitution does not even say that you must win in FCT, it only says, 25% of the votes cast.
You did not win Lagos state, Kano State, Rivers State and even FCT and you are here threatening the judiciary!
