The outcome below IGR is not a measure of the economy. Just government revenue which any government can willingly decide to increase or reduce. See GDP data. Only oil states and Lagos top Anambra

nedu666: You are right. Ogun has plenty of industries but they are not owned by indigenous people but Chinese, Indians and Lebanese. Example is ota industrial estate, you see Chinese and Indian factories everywhere, even Chinese and Indians drive okada up and down the estate. Even in lagos, most thriving factories in ikeja, apapa is still owned by Indians and lebanese Yorubas are not good at starting something and building it. They will rather jump on already established something to become the head. This is why they shouting Ronu in Lagos and it's extension to Ogun. Why are not making any effort to industrialize the hinterlands? Look at Onitsha, Aba, Nnewi? |

Even after annexing their lands😭😭 Like Oba Esigie of Benin packed them and sold to Portuguese who exported them to slave sugar plantation in Brazil. But this one is worse because it's happening in their ancestral land centuries after the ban of slavery |
