jennykadry: I sometimes avoid the travel section because of the hate some Nigerians based in that shait hole of a country called nigeria, spew. To be quite honest I believe it's just jealousy, jealous of fellow Nigerians who were lucky and blessed enough to get a life outside Nigeria. I know and believe that some of you wished that you could travel outside Nigeria and live in the westernized world for as long as you want instead of visiting with a few months visa and returning back to that cursed nation.

I AM NOT PROUD TO BE A NIGERIAN and I have my reason,so the rest of you who wished you had the kind of lives we have here can get your 1 dollar bill and put it where your mouth is. Not too long ago a NLDER started a thread on dual nationality, the way some people who have no international passport let alone visa hated the Nigerians who are dual nationals was enough to cause problems on that thread. Even politicians-the government know that our country Nigeria ruin more lives, causes more harm than good to it's citizens and thought it necessary to fly their children outside the country for a better life, a better education and better opportunities. I am ashamed of that country Nigeria. Renewing a foreign passport in my current location is as easy as and can be done in the comfort of my own home but Nigeria made life hell for a lot of us who wanted to renew their passports. I was treated so rudely in my own country's high commission that I had to walk away in anger. If I walk into any AUSTRALIA High commission, I am treated like a VIP, well taken of, listened to, spoken to with respect and they sort out whatever issues I had with the snap of a finger.....yet the rest of yous expect some of us to clap for Nigeria or come back to that country for good? a country I visited recently and NEPA proved themselves as usual, a country where the citizens were flogged like children at the immigration office in Lagos, citizens like you and I only wanting to get their passports. undecided

A recent thread about a nigerian woman who angrily swore to tear her nigerian passport is trending now and as usual, those haterz are there calling her names. SHUT UP and give her the $300 dollars she wasted there and stop making noise. Many Nigerians have been told to come for appointments only for them to get there and be turned back cos of faulty equipment that had gone bad for months without them telling these people about it. Go to your international airport in Lagos and see the curse that place has become, many things there are key and start cos they are trying to "save electricity".

I am going to say this to all you hating nigerians living in diaspora that you lot should go on your knees and pray to whatever being you serve so that we remain here cos if some of us professionals with high standards decide to relocate back to Nigeria.....ALL OF YOU WILL BE JOBLESS, YOUR JOBS WE WILL TAKE AWAY FROM YOU AND OUR PAY WILL BE QUADRUPLED BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT PEOPLE INTELLECTUALLY BLESSED HAVE GRACED THEIR PRESENCE"......in other words shuuushhhh and be thankful to us cos without us staying abroad, some of you people will be begging on the streets for food.

Don't hate us cos we appreciate countries who have given us more than we could have asked for, don't blame us for not regarding that shait hole of a country called Nigeria. Why should I be proud of Nigeria? why should I have hope in Nigeria?when even the government know that nothing good is forth coming into and from that country, cos if they believed, they wouldn't pay millions to keep their families outside Nigeria.

YES MY NAME IS JENNIFER KADRY AND I TYPED THIS.......Hit your heads and thank you very much. cool
Referring to the bolded in your diatribe, does that sentence include you with the intellectually blessed.

people just dey shout treasury bill anyhow, shebi na the same government wey the finance minister talk say no get money again go pain the coupon at the end of the tenure. Nigeria is among the countries with highest % ROI in treasury bill. And from what I have known about treasury bill, the % goes up especially in time of crisis. Greece could be an example here. Maybe the reason for the high % ROI is because the govt is going broke as the finance minister lamented, so the high % is to attract more investors. Im not saying no one should invest in TB, rather you should know well what you are investing in. And when you invest, dont go and sleep. Get newspapers, stay updated regarding your investment and when its not performing as planned within your set time, omo cut your loss and move on to the another investment. omobadan: List of senators whose votes helped legalise underage marriage and how it happened (Voting Sheet)

by Stanley Azuakola

We now know how senators voted on the constitution amendment bill which caused an uproar in the senate on Tuesday.

READ: Senate Fails To Get Enough Votes To Deal Blow On Underage Marriage, Backs Pension For Its Leadership

The section up for amendment had to do with persons qualified to renounce Nigerian citizenship. The constitution in Section 29 says anyone of age can do so. Section 29(4) (b) says that ” any woman who is married shall be deemed to be of full age.” It means that even a child if married can be seen to be of full age and as such can renounce citizenship. The committee proposed that that provision be deleted.

When it was put to vote, 2/3 of members present voted for it which meant it was deleted. But, not so fast.

Enter Senator Ahmed Yerima of Zamfara, the controversial former governor of Zamfara who tried to stoke religious sentiments. He said it was against Islamic law. Yerima got married to a teenager a few years ago, and going by the provision, the girl who is still not 18 cannot be said to be of age.

Sen. Yerima needs to watch this video: Watch: Genius: Meet The Most Politically Aware And Lucid 12 Year Old In The World

He kicked and began to mobilise his fellow Muslims in the Senate and it was threatening to cause confusion. Despite the senate president, David Mark insisting that it could no longer be revisited as it had been voted upon, Yerima continued his objection.

Due to the sensitive nature, Mark had to call for another vote. At this point the Senators who were in favour of this clause could no longer muster 2/3 of the votes that will retain Section 29, Clause 4 (b). Senators still voted 60 votes to 35 votes for the clause to be deleted, but it did not satisfy the 2/3 requirement and so, according to the senate version, “any woman who is married shall be deemed to be of full age.”

Thanks to Sen. Babafemi Ojudu (Ekiti Central, ACN), we have the full list of the senators who voted NO)

The senators who voted NO, that is those who did not want the clause deleted, include the following:

1. Sen. Abdulmumin M. Hassan (Jigawa South West, PDP)

2. Sen. Abdullahi Danladi (Jigawa North West, PDP)

3. Sen. Adamu Abdullahi (Nasarawa West, PDP)

I thought it takes a certain number of votes/dates/hearing to get a bill passed in senate? It hasn't been long since this bill was introduced yet it made law in a snap. Meanwhile there are lots of other important bills that has been on for over 10 years of Nigeria's democracy, yet they haven't been passed. (eg: Free of Information Bill, Health Care bill and many more). This law (Legalization of underage marriage) will be the beginning of a bigger problem for Nigeria as a country.

Marriage in itself is a contract. And we all know that underage/minor are considered not fit to enter into contract under the law but when the same law validates/legalizes underage marriage (contract), it validates any other contract a minor enters even when its clearly not a healthy contract. Imagine an underage entering into a contract to take part in a pornographic movie. With this law (Legalization of underage marriage), the right of children as minors wouldn't be protected anymore. Our children are no longer safe in Nigeria.

#Are these senators really representing us there?

#Who in his sane mind would want to marry anyone at such young age?

lekanolas: The Coordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, yesterday insisted that the Federal Government is experiencing shortfalls in funds required to implement the 2013 budget.

Okonjo-Iweala also stated that an amendment to the 2013 Appropriation Act is necessary even as she disclosed that the capital component of the budget has been implemented by 67 per cent.

This means that about N670bn has already been spent.

The minister spoke before the House of Representatives’ Committees on Appropriation, Finance and Legislative Compliance where she debunked allegations that the Executive had jettisoned the budget as passed and signed by President Goodluck Jonathan in the first quarter of this year.

She also sought the legislators’ approval to divert the fund accrued to the illegal Excess Crude Account, ECA, which is deemed illegal, to a Stabilisation Fund embedded in the Sovereign Wealth Fund, SWF.

Okonjo-Iweala, who fielded a barrage of questions on the economy in general and the 2013 budget in particular, insisted that the executive was seeking an amendment and not a supplementary budget.

Really,I thought China is about to acquire us. lipsrsealed

#Whatever this means "an amendment to the 2013 Appropriation Act", I hope it includes reduction in the cost on running Nigeria and not going further to borrow money and mortgaging Nigeria to the highest bidder. First madam Fin Minister, cut those unnecessary costs in Nigeria. Imagine serviced 10 presidential jets for a country crying about lack of fund. Madam, start with disposing those jets. 3 to 5 is enough.
BusinessRe: Forex Trading - Season 13 by IgweOO(m): 9:59pm On Jul 12, 2013
XHTML: Oh yes, Support/Resistance zones are key to my trading system too. Both the ATR and ADR are similar (the ATR can be applied to any TF though while the ADR gives the average range for the day only) but I don't use them both at the same time. (I think what I wrote was I adjusted the ATR to 7days, but some traders using the ATR are comfortable with 14days)

The ATR indicator I attached on my other post is modified and hard coded to show the ATR of the past 7days and the current day's range. Settings weren't really provided to easily switch the periods, but I'll try to upload a modified version of this based on 14days.

If you want something quick to glance at, you can use the default ATR on the MT4 platform, and switch the period to 14 on the daily Timeframe. The screenshot attached shows the ATR (14days) on AUD/USD at 133, (couldn't position the price label at the exact spot) while the ATR (7days) is 140.

To get the 'ATR Projection Up' (on a 14day setting), you'll simply add the 133 to the days low (i.e 0.8996) = 0.9129 (as against 0.9137 with the 7day period) and 'ATR Projection Down', subtract 133 from the day's high (i.e 0.9189)= 0.9056 (as against 0.9049 with the 7day period).

*Thought I'd add this too - The ATR (5day period) for today is 148 on this pair. Similar to what you have on your ADR indicator, right? If true, that means your ADR is calculating based on the last 5days.
FTA amaka. lots of beautiful people sharing ideas for the benefit of all. Una thank you very much.

Yea, its hard coded hence I couldnt find where to modify it to 14days, to check the difference between 7 and 14 days. Earlier today, I attached both (ADR and ATR) on oil chart and there seem to be a little difference in there daily range projection but not that it matters much. As you mentioned, you can upload the modified version (14days) for the benefit of all interested.
Me, i would be using both. ATR lets you know where to add more position. ADR, where to take profit and sometimes too, lets you know price direction.

Thanks bro. Ya dikwara gi nma. (let it be well with you)
BusinessRe: Forex Trading - Season 13 by IgweOO(m): 5:28pm On Jul 12, 2013
XHTML: You seem doing just fine with it. The indicator doesn't give you directions however, but projects a possible range in which a currency or pair can move.

There are three bands that will be displayed on the chart. The outter bands in plain black is the 100%, followed by the 70% and the mid 50% band. (or the High 1, high 2, high 3 and Low 1, Low 2, Low 3 respectively) - whichever way you like to call them.

On a conservative level, you'd want to have your TP at or a little above the 50% band level, If price breaches the 50% band towards the 70% and the band does not move along, it would indicate that momentum might be slowing down - around this point I most times take part profit, if possible (or switch to trailing stops).

If price breaches the 70% level up to the 100% band and the bands don't move along, then clearly momentum is slowing down and you'd want to be cautious about taking any new trades from that point unless you have a strong reason to (fundamental triggers and the likes).

You can see what happens in the attached chart (audusd) for example.

I got in after the support was breached, took part profit 0.90409 and closed the remainder at 0.90104 as clearly the bearish momentum was running out.

You can see that even though price surged down below the 100% band, it retracted, with price closing for the hourly candle at 0.90325. Anyone taking a further sell position below the 100% band level would be lucky to escape with no loss. When I opened the position, the Low 2 was around 0.9075x but you can see where it is now.

Since my core trading system revolves around selling the tops and buying the bottoms (especially in ranging markets). (I've long found out that I often get into trouble when I try to jump in mid-way), this is one of the useful tools in my arsenal.

Also, see the Usd/Jpy chart attached. Notice how the ATR projections might've helped one trade with precaution.

I'm not close to my storage device I'd have attached some concrete pdf materials on this but well, here is one I could locate at the moment (see link), you may pick up some points from it).

http://www.filedropper.com/tradingwithatrprojections
Thanks bro for the insights. Reading this, its more like we share similar trading strategy (buying/selling based on resistance and support) and also, similar indicators. Also, based on what I have seen, combining the ADR and ATR would make for a profitable trade. The other thing I want to ask is, in terms of the projections/daily range by both the ADR and ATR, there seem to be a very little deviation and you wrote earlier that you adjusted the ATR to 7 days where as the ADR is for 14 days, i just want to know where I can be able to adjust it to 14 days. I only want to compare both (7days and the 14days) to see the level of deviation.
CareerRe: Enslaved To An Indian Company By "Service Bond" by IgweOO(m):
Igwe OO: “There are instances where an agreement is considered null and void even before it’s signed and to the best of my knowledge, this is looks like one of it”.
#Im sure the service bond was written for them by a lawyer and they made you sign it on the spot without allowing you to have your own lawyer or someone of higher understanding to go through the service bond on your behalf to ensure you understand the entire clause in it, this to me means, you did not understand what you signed, which again nullifies the service bond.
#also technically, you haven’t been employed by them as you still have you employment letter. Both the service bond and signed employment letter should have both been returned and accepted earlier but when one among them is missing, it invalidates the order.
#Also, if the said bond should stand in any law court which I don’t think it would, and them not providing a favorable working condition, making you use your monetary reward (not salary because you are not employed yet) from them as a means of funding your transportation also nullifies the bond because they did not fulfill the terms of the bond.

***Whatever is shared here is my personal opinion, as such; it cannot be used directly or indirectly to adjudicate your case. I advise you seek a legal counsel/interpretation. While you are at it, remember every employer would like to learn about your employment history, so be careful how you handle this.
Cheers, wishing you all the best.
Just to add to my comment above, as you wrote, the bond states that you would pay them back some money if you resigned before the end of 2 years, in the content of the bond, is there any where it stated what you would be rewarded with if you stayed the 2 years with them? If there is nothing like that in the bond, then the bond is null and void as it was not fit for all even before it was signed.

Ajibam: "I Signed Myself Into Slavery Because Of Unemployment And Now I Can't Get Out"

Please I urgently need the help of any legal practitioners. I really don't know what I've gotten my self into.

I finished NYSC last year and two months later I was interviewed for a job at an Indian owned Pharmaceutical company. After two months I was offered the job as a Medical representative. My self and all other successful applicants were given a one-week training before we were all dispatched to our different states.

Among the employment forms we were given to sign there was a SERVICE BOND form which states that "I am to work with the company for TWO YEARS or pay a sum of 250.000" I signed because of the employment situation in the country and to be honest I was desperate I couldn't afford to be unemployed I had so many family pressures I was almost becoming depressed.

I am now on the job and my people I AM SEEING HELL!!! I work tirelessly my salary is less than 100k I spend a greater amount of it on transportation(Nature of the Job as a Medical Representative I Move from one place to the other) we were promised a car for mobility but this is almost 6months and absolutely nothing is being said about it. I am under the sun under the rain working. I hate complaining because I feel it is synonymous to being ungrateful but some days I can't take it I feel like quitting on the spot!

After I realised the service bond I signed I refused to sign the offer of employment letter (I still have it in my possession). Now I'm seeking a less stressful job because honestly this one is beginning to affect my health. How do I go about this SERVICE BOND please I really need help. I can't pay that 250k I can barely save up to 20k every month infact successfully saving 10k a month is a miracle! And I can't work for another 18 months I'm not sure I will survive. Please I need Your help!

“There are instances where an agreement is considered null and void even before it’s signed and to the best of my knowledge, this is looks like one of it”.

Cheers, wishing you all the best.

naijababe: US oil sell limit at 102.00 with 50pips sl
This might not be necessary as you are already a pro trader but just thought to comment. If you had both ADR installed on your trading system, you will notice that when you took that sell position, the ADR low for the day has already moved to the ADR Start, that means that the probability of price going down is very low compared to the high probability of it going up in order to cover the gap between ADR Low/ADR Start and ADR High. What I meant is, a buy would have been better. Pls use both ADR, they are a good pointers as to the direction of price.

elewedu: Sorry, this is coming from a newbie. My take on the ADR is that, not all the time that price turns when it gets to the average daily range for the day. I ve tried in the past to take opposite position, when price approaches and rejects the ADR, the strategy works very few times, during heavy trending days, price will break and continue in its course. May be it will work very well for scalping, i dont know.
#Rather bro, it works to let you know the extent price will move either up or down for the day. Its not a strategy per-say rather, it serves as a tool for you to know where to place ur take profit. If you are looking for a strategies that goes down after it hits a high or goes up after it hits a low, then you should search for Resistance/Support indicators.

Kirinwa: Could someone check ADR for gold today?
Kirinwa: Please what's the file size? Can it be downloaded on Android phone? Does it work alone or must it be attached to a platform.Enlighten me.Thanks.
Shebi you see the 2 picture I pasted, one na gold, the other na oil. Gold hasnt reached the ADR while oil has at 101.57, thats why the color changed to red. Normally price will stay at that range or it will fall back to the low at 99.55.

naijababe: Do you have an ADR indicator? could be very useful given the way oil is traded.
Yea I do. Im attaching it here incase here in case any1 needs it.

#What it does is, at the start of every trading day it gives the likely high and low for the day. Almost all the time, when price gets to ADR (either High or Low), it stays within that range and act either as support or resistance.

naijababe: E be like say I go do night vigil for oil tonight. I don't want to miss out the additional positions I want add.
Cool but if na me, I go close the trade. Oil don reach its daily range at 98.03. Any other thing above that today, na jara. Clearly oil na uptrend but you remember one thing about futures, It can move from 1 to 4 and then from 4 back to 1 within the same day.

#this is just an opinion, hoping u dont get offended.
