diyobdw:That's the thing. What i listed are just some of not most of what are driving women to go marry hence sometimes judgement/decisions made are not for the usual(love,compatibility,respect) because if she's being proded to get married (pressure of society/family and maybe even herself) she will just pick which ever one comes her way or whichever one she has spent the most time trying to cultivate a relationship. Why is it that this became a standard? I mean i dont think it was so in the time of our parents. Granted that economic situation is different from back then. I think that we just want to be comfortable and taken care of to an extent (i dont mean financially, more like emotionally) Still i dont think that a man wallowing in wealth must be prerequisite for a relationship or whatever develops from that. |

Hong Kong (used to like the old one although its location was a bit dangerous) the new one's really nice. Love heathrow definitely my favorite, also love Schiphol and Aminu. Charles du Gaulle is ok too. As for the others they dont really stand out to me. |

@Topic, both. One has to take a good look at what one is getting in for/into. Cultural difference, willingness to compromise, society's effect. Take into consideration too, how society will affect your kids. Naija is not bad in terms of raising mixed kids, but that is not so for other countries. It's usually the 'not white enough to be a white person' or 'not black enough to be a black person', thats not easy on the child. Thankfully sha, the world is getting more accepting of interracial couples/marriages than before. |
