@iice

Know who he is how?

You also talked about giving cash, when you give case don you ever think you are over doing it, or do you think you a woman giving a man cash is cheap and desperate?(please dont get me wrong, I am not insulting anyone here) don't you think men take advantage of the whole situation? what if after giving the guy alot of cash he breaks up with the gurl, do you think she is going to feel used and dumped here?
I mentioned somewhere on NL, that i am an undercurrent kind of person.
I'm not much for details like phone numbers, address, etc (kinda hard for me to remember) because those can easily be made up.
I look at the person from the core.  What he says sometimes and how he reacts/acts gives me an idea of what type of a person he is.  The essence of the person (like i like to call it) is harder to fake. Some people are easier to read, some are harder.

Lol i'm not offended.  I view it like giving money to a friend (or sometimes family member) because most often than not, i am friends with guys even after we break up, we still remain friends.  In order to not feel too bad, i only give what i can afford to give, what if i don't get back is not damaging.  i don't give him money for him to love me or what.  What he feels is what he feels.  Yes sometimes some men take advantage of the situation.  But if you know who he is, then you can afford to give him the money.  Viewing it from the other side, if he buys her stuff and all that. . .after she breaks up with him, shouldn't he feel used and dumped?  Or is it only viewed that way if it's the woman who is dumped?

Rofl. Broken heart? I can't fit laugh.
Like i said assumptions. Just because a person sees something a certain way doesn't make it the outcome of horrible experience or any experience for the matter. So you're not advising people to find trusted friends?

repeating things over & over again ain't my style. Since its obvious that u're a lady, date or marry a guy who isn't rich or better still, that has the potential of becoming one then tell me how many times u'll enjoy his ''non-physical turn-ons''.
I've seen, heard & read things about this issue. My advice, even if money shouldn't be your no. 1 piority, it should be the 2nd or 3rd.
9ce humor about me being a woman though.
Neither is it my style. Just as you have seen and read things things about this issue. So have i and experienced it too.
Nigerians with their obsession of becoming rich. Thanks but no thanks. . .just the other day I read 2 nigerians were apprehended for smuggling cocaine. The police chief was so pissed he wanted to shoot them. It doesn't matter how they got their money, you say. Keep advising men to keep up the life of crime all in the name of being 'rich'. Anyway. . .i thank Odin for my not 'rich' man who still is the man of my life.

@ na-so. My point is that women don't rily send the non-physical thing in a man but are rily interested in the 'pepper', thats all that makes the difference in the long run. Like they say, ''na fyn boi we go chop''?
@ iice. I read the topic before commenting mind u. Just hitng the nail to the head. My sisters & mom ain't money chasers but definitly need it from their men. An intelligent man without money is dumb to me.
@ guyz. Don't be decieved. If una no get money una go get enuf headache. ''there's no romance without finance''. Be warned!
I'm happy that as a woman yourself, you understand that women don't send the non-physical thing in a man. But then again. . .'fine boi' is one of your non-physical qualities i assume?
It must have been a touching moment for you when you realized that your female relatives married their husbands for the money they needed not for the men they were.

No one is disputing the fact that money matters in relationships especially marriage but if that is all you are. . .you deserve what you get.

Sorry. . .too long a read for me.
I picked out the 'romance without finance' thing. Marriage is a whole different ballgame from dating. So i don't understand all this blah blah blah about it being a lie that you can survive on love alone. Common sense dictates you plan for you future and all eventualities.

bankylan:
The emptiness of being single could be damaging. Within us, there is a strong yearning for companionship. No matter how hard we try to negelect this yearnings, it shows in us in our dispositions, emotions, reactions.etc. It is God's ordination that we marry. Also, we can avoid bing tempted to fornicate.
being single is not synonymous with being empty.
Neither is alone equal to loneliness. Your vast swipe of assumptions are sometimes more damaging than good to the flock you wish to get under your wing. So will reiterate what others have said. . .is it a must to marry?
