MRbrownJAY: serves him right. i would be scared shitless too if i was in his position. you just dont know when the blow is going to come, might be poison in the food, might be you coming home finding her in bed with the driver (you wont have shit to say when that day comes), might just be that you come home one day and she is gone. whatever it will be, he deserves it for bringing skanks into your home, let alone your marital bed. Gbam. . .coupled with the fear would be his own guilt. |

prettysly: Hi All, My relationship in the past years has been all messed up, i guess i always meet the wrong guys, sometimes i ask myself if am the cause of bad dating. Each guy i meet ends up getting married to other women and keep lying. Please i need advice on what to do. It happens. Like some people have said, you are yet to meet the right one. However, sometimes we attract what we put out. Don't sell yourself short and learn to listen to your intuition. |
Romance › Re: Trust - How To Earn It And Be More Trusting In Family Relationships by iice(f): 5:58am On Jul 10, 2009 |
allabout: Mistake No. 2 In trying to develop trust we look to others to make changes, rather than looking to the person who potentially is best qualified to make changes--our self. As much as we would like to believe we can influence change in others, the truth is, lasting and meaningful change can only happen within us if we, ourselves, make it happen. Change comes from certain attitudes such as commitment, understanding, acceptance, and willingness to pay necessary prices. Changes-or improvements-in these attitudes can only come from within ourselves. Thank you! Good write up |

Fashion › Re: What's Wrong With Waist Beads And Chains? by iice(f): 5:42am On Jul 10, 2009 |
origina9ja: maybe because of the way i was brought up, to me sha i believe that beads of the waist can sometimes be to posses the power for attract and evoke deep emotional responses, they are a sign of success and affluence as well as spiritual well being. I'm not against people wearing it but i cant because i don't feel the need to
I'm a Yoruba and where i come from, we have a belief that the waist beads posses some erotic appeal, they have the power to provoke desire or deep emotional response on the opposite sex. Waist beads in Yoruba are also used for birth control, the beads are laced with charms and worn by the women to prevent conception.
also the use of beads in courtship rituals over past centuries has evolved into their use as a fashionable item, worn with the intention of attracting the opposite sex. ANYWAYS, I BELIEVE THERE ARE DIFFERENT REASON TO WEAR WAIST BEADS AND CHAINS BUT I STILL SEE NO REASON TO WEAR IT WHY BECAUSE I WOULD NOT FEEL ANY BETTER. Interesting. I never wore it in high school when people were wearing theirs. But i wear it now because i like it not for any purpose other than that. Besides i wear alot of other things |

omonija1: Wow, now I know. I've also been wondering why Nigerian men in Nigerian I talk to mistake love with like with the fact that they know nothing about the person.
Thanks to facebook, I've been able to reconnect with some of my old male friends from primary school and after they see my pics, i guess, they start to profess their love for me. I was even talking to one of them and explaining the meaning of love and I was pissed as hell because he didn't seem to get it or even care to understand. He was so stuck on the love. I was like ehhhh, oga oo,
anyways, i hope some men can learn from this sha. LOL! |

It's like those who look good in pics but don't look the same in reality Most times to appear photogenic, you have to understand your face, the lines, the light, strong features. . .
