Culture › Re: Nigerian White Boy Speaking English And Hausa by iice(f): 10:58am On Apr 18, 2009
You need to see my friends grin
I knew a family back in Naija who are not nigerians but speak, read and write hausa like a native.
I know another one who grew up in PH, come hear pidgin and ibo grin

The one that trips me are those who have never been to Naija but speak pidgin complete with accent and intonations and understand small ibo and yoruba grin - i have 2 friends like that. . .we (the nigerians in my social group) taught them.
Are we prejudiced by nature or by experience?. Every Nigerian seems to be somewhat prejudiced from what I can witness from here. If you think you are not prejudiced, answer these questions sincerely.

1. You are Nigerian and you have a choice of picking one partner from a pool of three eligible ones. Three of them are likable and meet every standard you desire in a partner except that just one of them is from your tribe. Will you give the other two equal chances like the one from your tribe?. If your answer is yes, then answer question 2.

2. What if only one of the three people is black and Nigerian while the other two are Asian and European. Will you give the three an equal opportunity during your selection process without any form of bias?.
1. yes

2. yes

Romance › Re: Would A Man's Bad Past Affect His Future? by iice(f): 10:21am On Apr 18, 2009
Diva1:
Would a man's past always affect the future, For example, the bad boy's life style, games, having sex multiple partners that are not your girlfriends, and so on and then the guy wants to settle down with a nice girl that hasn't had a bad past and all, Would his past hunt their future like maybe not having children, or kids dying early or something bad even as the girl is innocent and the man would have changed? and vice versa.
Are you talking about karma?
I don't necessarily believe that the past will affect his future. If's he's a changed man. . .it eventually pans out.
Sometimes the person doesnt do anything but it seems badluck befalls him.

bluespice:
include the fact that some men are truly shallow

ive heard a man say he cant date a woman that doesnt use weaves, n doesnt use em fake nails

to each his opinion
if ur man likes fake things n ur cool to use em, by all means do
if not suit urself

its about feeling comfortable n happy in whatever ur doing
True that. If you like your weaves, rock it, if you like your natural hair, rock it.
